Miller Thomson LLP Review

I had a very unfortunate experience with Belinda Rossi at Miller Thomson. Belinda and her firm are hugely overrated. The only benefit that I see is the intimidation factor of a large national firm but if that fails you get lack lustre representation, especially if you don't have deep pockets. I was handed over to a junior half way through her representation. She is very overpriced. Take a look at their foyer and you will see where your hard-earned money really goes. Her hourly rate is on the high end but the generation of hours through various support staff is what skyrockets the bill. There is no easy way to challenge the myriad of hours applied to my account at my expense. Zero top line strategy in that she made no effort to find and exploit the weakness in the opposition's case. Everything is family law. My case had an important and exploitable small business component that was ignored. All of this led to a tsunami of very bad legal representation. I got out just in time before she added another $150K to my divorce. There was no choice for zero stars.

They are expensive. They are indifferent. They are tardy. They are unapologetic. They are not worth the rate. You can do better elsewhere.

Played this law firm in a charity basketball tournament - one of their lawyers received a technical foul for swearing at the referee. This was a CHARITY GAME. The type of firm that employs lawyers who swear at volunteer referees is not one I would use.

Just a big name firm that overcharges and provides average service.

There is a reason Miller Thomson is ranked as one of Canadas leading law firms, thank you for working on our behalf. The lawyer was very efficient, worked tirelessly and was extremely prompt, made sure our business was priority.

Was here for a seminar. Good place, they took care if everything. Nice view from high up

Completely unprofessional, the emails they send have incorrect spellings and names. They send emails from their iphones, which us visible to the receivers. What business wants their law firm sending legal emails from their own phones??? They also personally threaten employees who are only doing their jobs.

Tier 2 firm that thinks its tier 1. The only thing bigger than their bills are their egos. Low quality work and bad customer experience.

Horrible service, couldn't care less about people. Find yourself another law firm!
