Some of the staff including the man who sits the closet near the entrance needs some training with customer service. Food is overpriced and nothing special.

Bagels are the best. Service meh. Counter person 2nd weekend in a row is brusk and impatient rushing you along regardless of the line size. I get it that they need to work fast but they messed up many orders from the 5 mins that I was there.

I have nothing but all good things to say in reference to this wondeful place and the owner and his very friendly accommodating staff. I was put in a horrible situation by another restaurant ( which is down the street and has a water view,( Depending on who you speak to and what lies you are told) Of which I will gladly give a big fat 0! across the board!). After planning my daughters Bridal shower for 35 people, Well in advance ( 3 MONTHS PRIOR!).I placed a 500$ cash deposit down on THE OTHER PLACE ( more than required).
I was promised the dinning room with a water front view so the girls did a nauticul theme.
Due to my work schedule I arrived to THE OTHER PLACE 24 hours before the shower gave another 500$ and the whole story changed! They double booked us! and wanted to put up a partion and set us against a WALL with no view of ANYTHING but picture frames.My throat was tight, I was so tired. I had no choice but to call my future son in law and my daughter to come to my aide. After a series of lie after lie. I finally got back 967$ ( after giving 1,000$ in cash) half was in a check that took 10 days to clear my account! . I had 24 HOURS to find a venue for all these people!

I can not say enough nice things about the owner who immediatly put us both at ease. A very genuine man. His staff who were very, very friendly, professional, timely and effcient. The ambiance was just lovely! and perfect! The food delicious! The service perfect.
I recieved so many compliments on how comfortable and just perfect her Bridal shower was.
I suggest them for a nice night out, a gathering with friends or any event you may need to plan.

Visited here a while ago. Nice staff and pretty restaurant. Food could use a bit more flavor but I enjoyed my time here and the outside view.

Fantastic meal. Delicious. Gorgeous. Creative. My wife and I have not been out in over 6 months. We said the heck with it and made reservations. Glad we did. The drinks and food were superb! Our waitress was so kind and accommodating. We loved our date night. Go there it's so nice inside but we sat out on the patio.

We were excited to use our birthday gift certificate and come to find out not so good of an experience..
First, bartender nothing special..not personable and not checking with us to confirm drinks were ok..my dirty martini had almost no olive juice in it at all..not a sorry or anything ..
Waitress at our table was short and to the point..not interacting with us at all..had to ask for bread and still received no bread plates ..had to ask couple of times to get any water to drink.. ..
MeAls came and 2 out of 3 steaks were undercooked..when finally sent back the steaks came back out of the microwave and too well done..
Manager came over and she was GREAT!! Very friendly and did what she needed to do to maybe get us to come back ??
After all that , the waitress still showed no real care about the disappointment ..
And this rejected in her tip unfortunately..

It was ok. Expected better quality. I had the filet mignon. Was dry and the asparagus was mushy and the mashed potatoes were very watery. The mussels were not seasoned. The meatloaf was good. Short rib dish was good. Their artichoke spinach dip was the best we ever had. I guess it just depends on what you order. Staff was great!

The Bridge House has fabulous food and service. They also have great live music.

Classic American restaurant (Definitely on the fancier side). Great food, amazing burger, and a wide selection at the bar. Some items are a bit too pricey though...

Everything is made fresh, kind of pricey but worth it.

We called in a reservation ahead of time for 5 and arrived to be told we were going to have to wait 20 minutes. First of all you shouldnt wait when you had a reservation. We were seated after an HOUR. ONE HOUR. The management was no help and basically ruined the evening.

The people were very friendly, the food was delicious and the experience great!

Awesome service, amazing food, great space. 1st time there with co workers. The appetizers are fresh and tasty, my filet was cooked perfectly and cut like butter. Will definitely be back!!

Nice, warm comfort foods make this a good choice for dinner. Brunch was disappointing when they ran out of two main buffet items an hour before it ended. An inexperienced server resulted in a complex credit card ordeal.

This was our first time there, but it will not be our last! This restaurant has a very comfortable vibe and the staff is very friendly. Also, the food is great! We had the crunchy stuffed chicken and the chicken and waffles. Both were rave worthy but I think the chicken and waffles was the rock star of the evening! A unique presentation with maple aioli and purple slaw. The flavors blended together and was fantastic . Try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Rented out the place for my grad party. The place is very well kept. They had great appetizers!

Wait staff and manager were nice. Food was very good but prices were sky high for many items. A salad with shrimp will cost $20, even kids meal was $9 for regular grilled cheese. Too many comparable options in area for 25 percent less.

Our first time & I had to pick This place for my Birthday dinner ,what a mistake Terriable service left after waiting over 45minutes for our small order. We were told our food is taking long because we ordered cooked food, SERIOUSLY!! I'm sorry, I like my meat med.well.

The place felt strange to me. The whole vibe. Food wasn't bad but the some of music really doesn't match the type of restaurant or the clientele that I saw there. Service was a little slow. I had the hanger steak and unfortunately all I could taste was char and gas flavor. I won't rule out going back but I won't rush there.

I had lunch here today and it was excellent. It was a burger on a black bun with cheddar cheese, bacon and onion rings. The meal arrived hot, the staff was friendly and courteous and the environment was very clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

Hadn't been here in several years. Was pleasantly surprised by the lamb chops. Great atmosphere to enjoy a quiet meal.

Food was ok, service no major complaints, 2 large parties going on, waited almost 1 hour for main dishes once ordered... Probably won't return.

Tonight, a friend and I went to Bridge House that has been a constant (like our own personal Cheers) of myself, husband and family for years. We went early to partake of the "early bird bar menu" offering $5.00 drinks and appetizers (sliders, mussels, bar chips, crab cakes, flat bread) that has been offered for several weeks (since new management has been incorporated). We didn't like any of the appetizer selections, but ordered off the regular menu and each had a martini (and one extra) that should have been charged as $5.00 each, as we were there within the timeframe (5:30 to 7:00 pm) for that price on all drinks. When our bill arrived, we were charged full price for the drinks ($10.00 each), and when we questioned our server, she said that Wednesday night was 1/2 price on bottles of wine and not martinis. I explained that every time that my husband and I (and/or friends) have come to BH since the enactment of the $5.00 drinks/apps, we have been charged $5.00 for any drink that we purchased, as long as it was in the timeframe. The "manager" Frank then came to our table to attempt to enforce the "CHANGE OF VENUE" and told us that if we were served $5.00 drinks in the past that "someone on his staff was cheating" and that he would only take the price of one drink off the tab. Needless to say, this was so upsetting to be treated like someone who is a "one-time patron" and making it sound like we made up the rules. I am sad to say that we will never patronize Bridge House again!! It is not about the money, but the principle. Good patrons, who had their daughter's bridal shower and rehearsal dinner at the establishment and who have introduced numerous friends to Bridge House and who come to the restaurant weekly, should not be treated in this manner. We will certainly miss the caring wait staff of Nancy, Sarah, Tara, Francesca, Melissa, Sylvia and especially Amanda. I know that if Rob was managing tonight, HE would have handled this matter with grace and dignity! GOOD BYE BH.....it was a good time when caring people like John and Cris were there!!

Went for a business lunch so I ordered the lobster roll that came with truffle fries and a small salad. Very nice place. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food took a little bit to come out but we did order alot as a group.

Super over priced! The food to me was either a hit or a miss. I loved the appetizer I ordered. For the main course I ordered the mac and cheese with truffles. But it was actually truffle oil, which I didn't mind but it tasted like something from a school cafeteria or a cheap box of mac and cheese. But the dessert I had was so good! I got the peanut butter fudge cake, so good! The service in general was ok.

Went on Sunday for a late lunch with my wife the place was nice and the staff was pleasant. I ordered a burger Medium when it came, if you gave it some CPR it might have come back to life it was so RAW! So I sent it back! This time when it came out it was Rare but at least cooked so I said it's ok and I ate it! Worse mistake ever! I was up all night throwing up and stomach pain and diarrhea! Needless to say won't ever be going back there again!

Loved the food, atmosphere, and friendly prompt staff. Menu had many appealing options. Just wish they had better parking!

The food was very fresh, and the presentation was attractive but the flavor was nothing special. The price was reasonable and portions perfect. The service was good and all courses were served soon after leaving the stove. Overall it was good. I just hoped it would be better.

Nice quite adult bar. Would take date here. Food has always been consistently good. Help is nice, and there is adequate parking in back lot..prices are reasonable. Never had bad meal here and have been going for years. Cozy bar feel.

Very good food with really Interesting pairings a little pricey but it is worth it

Gravy was burnt, dirty beer glass, fish had a lot of bones, croquettes had peppers, water glasses were tiny, everything else was mediocre

Food was excellent. From the drinks, bread, appetizers and main course was all excellent. Even the coffee was the best I had in a long time. It was great to see a menu change with new items.

Bridge House has been one of my signature or anchor restraunts for a decade. It's clean, comfortable and cozy to be there.

The waitresses are very friendly and attentive. I have never felt that i was ignored or waiting to be served.

I think this is what they call a gastropub nowadays, their menu has some trendy dishes mixed in with comfort food. Always expertly cooked, never disappoints.

The meatloaf is legendary, but I got the ribeye special for my birthday and it was perfect.

It can get kinda loud in there sometimes, but it's cozy. Live music on the weekends, usually just a one person show, which is good. A full band would probably be overwhelming in there.

Good food - nice atmosphere - parking is a major problem

First time at Bridge House Had lunch which was excellent even with a cut down menu due to the virus. I will plan for dinner next time we go their. Service was excellent. A very enjoyable lunch. PS The New England chowder was a great start off.

Dining at the bridge house is a wonderful experience on every level! Check out their very unique wine bottle Christmas tree.

The Guiness on tap is great (especially with the brownie sundae) and the musician in the bar on weekends (Mark) is awesome. My favorite place to hang out.

Amazing. Love love love the crab cakes !!!! There were 6 of us and not one complaint and the place was packed. Going back tomorrow.

Delicious food offerings with a twist and some special attention to detail. Any place that brings me and my wife a collection of hot teas to try gets bonus points in my book. Solid lunch under $40 with drinks and tip.

Very nice and great food... Took my daughter there for her 20th birthday. They would have gotten 5 stars, but the table next to ours, which happened to have a birthday as well, got their birthday dessert for free ( I over heard the waitress saying it was complimentary) and I was charged for my daughter's. It even said birthday cake on the bill.

Service was very fast. I had gnocci with sausage and spinach for lunch. My companions ordered fish and chips. We all liked our lunch. Parking in the rear but limited. You can park on the side streets. They have a full bar.
The only disappointment is they only have one ladies room for the entire place. Bar included.
