Tour guides were enthusiastic and knew a lot about the history of Miller. I think I would've liked to see more of the brewery and bottling process because we were so far away. It was mostly them just telling you what happens instead of showing. They may have regulations about it possibly. Unfortunately, we were on family vacation and had to take our 3 yr old with us, which really distracted us from soaking in everything and enjoying ourselves. If you have the option, don't bring the kids!

We had a great time on the Miller Brewery Tour. Our tour guide was good as he knew about the history of the Brewery however he did not interact very much with the group which would have livened things up a bit. The tour was about an hour long and there are some stairs to climb to get to certain parts of the brewing process. The old buildings had beautiful architecture and it was interesting to see the brewing and bottling process. You also can't beat that it's a free Tour including 3 free tastings at the end with mini pretzels (we had nice size samplings of Miller Lite, Miller High Life and Redd's Apple Ale). They also take your picture at the beginning of the tour where you get to choose your prop (we chose the heart shaped sign with It's Miller Time on it). At the end, you have the option to purchase a package that includes 2 pictures (a 4x6 and 5x7), a coozie and a key chain for $25 which I thought was pretty reasonable so we purchased it. The pictures are a nice keepsake. It would have been nice to have the option to purchase food with beer at the end at the Inn (we didn't have lunch yet so we were pretty hungry). All in all we had a great time and it was worth seeing for our first time in Milwaukee.

Definitely a must see if you are in Milwaukee. The brewery tour is amazing. Everything very well explained very hands on and the samples are great and not a tiny amount given for each sample. Give yourself extra time to come and look around. The gift shop has a lot to offer as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful again definitely a must

The tour was worth it to "say you've done it" and to get a bit of the history behind Miller, but if you want to know more about how beer is made, go to a craft brewery tour. Miller has the benefit of being a long-standing company, and has the old buildings and caves to show for it, but beyond that, the tour was sort of flat.

Not a brewery tour but a brief walk by tour of the bottling plant. No explanation of the brewing process, what a hop is or how much grain comes in. No explanation of what the differences are between the types of beers. No glimpse of the kettles or the storage or the any of the brewing process. Even the walk into the caves simple showed how the beer use to be packaged and stored. You are not given a choice of the beer samples, you aren't even explained what they are. They claim to offer non alcoholic but was not given the option when the time came. Pretty much a rushed tour to get to the free beer. Seen several people heavily intoxicated leaving the samples. If your only concern is getting free beer this is the tour for you. If you are looking for a brewery tour you should stay well clear.

Hit and miss. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 hrs to load , others 4,10..first, go to staging area on state st...second, get bulkheads down the street; third, go to the dock across the street; 4th, go back to security for paperwork...good luck hahahahah the only reason for 1 star instead of complaining I'd give them 0 stars, is bec all the staff I've encountered over the months have been nice but the consistency with loading is unpredictable.

Free tour is always a great way to entertain out of town guests. The guided tour is filled with lots of interesting facts about the company and brewing process. There is a lot of walking but the samples at the end make it worth it.

Was blown away when we came face to face with a full body apparition that could only have been Frederick J. Miller himself in the beer caves.... This is a not to miss tour. I never believed in the supernatural until this tour. I'm a believer now! Ill never step foot into another beer cave the same way again!

A must if visiting Milwaukee. We've done many brewery tours and although this was not our favorite, it was definitely worth doing. You almost feel as though you're entering a little city when you drive into the brewery. You do have to watch a super cheesy video before the tour but it ends in free samples so that is worth it!

How could you not like the Miller Brewery Tour, they know how to show you a good time. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and had answers for all the questions. We did the tour several years ago and it's improved from then. You won't be disappointed with the free sampling.
