I'm still at the hotel.. had the first incident at the check-in when they refused to give me my room cause they had an unresolved issue with the Visa. Then the room was so tiny. The breakfast is so poor. And now In the middle of the night I lost all electricity in my room and they simply cant do anything about it now.

The Bailey's was a pleasant surprise for us. It was in a great location, just across the street from the Tube. The neighborhood is worth a walk around if you stay. The accommodations were beautiful, clean and just right for us. The staff was helpful and attentive. And, a pleasant surprise was found in the bar, where a spot-on Manhattan brought a satisfying end to a long day of sightseeing!

Staying on business with the family. We stayed in a Luxury family room which was good value and the beds were comfy but there was loads of dead flies behind the curtain..

Overall a great stay at the hotel. Location for transport was excellent.

Location is great, looks a bit old but all good and clean, rooms are really big compared to other hotels in London, reception and staff were nice overall, bed was clean and bathroom was reasonably spacious. If you're staying for a long time in London, then this is one of the choices you should consider.

We really liked the Baileys. The location is best feature as right across street from Gloucester Road station which has 3 lines passing thru. The neighborhood is one of the more charming ones with everything you could ask for within a block. We had a luxury room which was pretty nice and great value as included fine buffet breakfast and ample extra food credits for lunch.

Beautiful hotel, really friendly people but this was spoilt by cleanliness issues and lack of staff.
I understand that it's difficult with the current circumstances but we arrived on a Friday to find the male toilets unusable. This is no exaggeration, 3 out of 4 cubicles had poo in the bowl and the 4th had toilet roll everywhere. Breakfast wasn't worth bothering with. Two members of staff running round like crazy trying to keep everyone happy but this unfortunately this meant orders came out wrong after long delays.
It didn't spoil our time there but its certainly something the management need to consider improving.

Utimately, I would probably give it another go if the above were resolved.

This hotel is ideally placed in a busy area close to Kensington. Lots of eateries close by within walking distance. In-house Bar served some nice drinks.
Enjoyed our walks in Hyde Park.
Had some problems with TV not working but maintenance guys changed box whilst we were away and got the room re-senitized,
Was reassuring to know the place was Covid secure

Absolutely awful customer service, I have received better service in a B&B, argumentative receptionist, you would think they would want the custom after the last few months.

We stayed 3 nights. The beautiful full English breakfast buffet was delicious and was one of the reasons I picked this hotel. We loved the decor of our room they assigned a spacious, top floor corner room with windows on two sides. Our room looked charming and renovated. Every staff member we spoke to was friendly and thoughtful. It was a lovely experience.

Best location for a central London base. Directly across from the tube made all travel super easy, even to and from the airport with bags. Quicker than any cab

I want to give this hotel a good review, but due to what I was told was a "technical glitch" upon check in, I was put into a very tiny room at the far back corner of the hotel which was below the level I booked. After the first night we were able to clear up the mistake and I was moved to the type of room I booked and prepaid for. The hotel says they are unable to credit the difference between the two rooms for that first night. So not only was I inconvenienced by being put into the wrong room (which I wouldn't recommend) and having to move rooms the next day, but I ended up paying for a higher category room than I received for that night. I asked twice at the front desk to rectify the billing--but they didn't know how?! I've emailed the manager since checking out, but he doesn't respond. I finally got a note back saying they can't do anything about it but they would upgrade me on my next visit--not particularly helpful since I won't be in London in the foreseeable future. I've never encountered a business that admits to making a mistake yet won't rectify it and is content to charge a customer for services they didn't receive. For that, I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

A great hotel, very nice and friendly Personal.Have a club twin room, I set up really huge and absolutely clean, beautiful British as shown on the Picture.Room large single beds with a little too soft Mattress. Breakfast British and Continental, in a big bright Room.Bar with comfortable furniture for guests to let.Very end the day nice and pleasant hotel. It was an amazing experience and it is definitively my first hotel option when I will travel back to London.

This was a good place to stay .We booked 2 rooms one was a good size and the other one was small .We did point out that we had no hot water and the bathroom fan was on all night.we was told when we checked out thay would call matence. And sort the room out. That did not help us also the pillows are hard. There is a tube opposite the hotel which was good for us but you can hear the trains at night might stay again ???

Checked into hotel very smoothly with the lovely Giorgia (the receptionist) our suite was ready for us but our bride wanted to also get some pictures for her special day. I m the photographer, we started taking photos for her in the as the lobby is very beautiful. However we were rudely interrupted by the general manager Kim who assumed we didn t even book a room. She didn t greet us as a manager should instead she gave us sly looks and started bombarded us with questions on why we wanted to take photos.

I feel really upset about this as I feel as though it was racially motivated on her side as she didn t even think we booked a suite and that we just took a detour in the hotel to have a shoot.

Giorgia was very lovely and reassuring and we thank her for her kindness. The bride decided she didn t want to stay the night here sadly.

Its a great hotel for American families..its combination of pricing, convenient location, and the availability of 2 double beds in most rooms cant be beat. Its close to best museums and a short walk to Kensington palace. Glouster road tube station (with most tourist friendly routes) is right there. Affordable eats are all around and breakfast at hotel is big perk. Rooms are different sizes ranging from small to generous...make sure to pay small upgrade for delux family room. Its an older hotel with a recent renovation everything is clean and bathrooms are newish. Glad we stayed 7 nights..would repeat.

i will never stay anywhere else! perfect location, gorgeous hotel, excellent breakfast, wonderful service. Very English, heated towel racks, toast comes in toast racks!

Very nice hotel in the heart of Kensington. Big and clean rooms. Perfect air conditioning 24/7 even if you are out of the room. The personal is friendly enough. The location cannot be better- 15 sec from the metro station. 50 meters from super store. About 3-4 restaurants in the area. 15 minutes from Hyide Park. Highly recommend.

Very nice staff, nice and clean rooms. Double bed was small (in width) for two adults. Location is great, near tube station and museums. Ideal for a city trip.

You must be very careful and do not trust the management of the hotel, this story is transmitted as received from our customers we care about their problems after we are freed from credibility:
( When you arrive the hotel early they wait for more than two hours because they clean and prepare the room, but what happened when I wanted to go to sleep in Late at night, under the bed sheet there was a long hair, that mean they don t change all bed linen, but I couldn't do anything because it was too late and I needed to sleep, but I was surprised in the early morning that there were irritated spots on my skin that did not exist before. I asked the manager on the phone and explained to him and his telling me that he well be back to Me and he we ll meet me, but until I leave The hotel he did not communicate with me, he did not even offer me the presence of a doctor or he reassure of the hotel customers )
, from our point of view he treats the Client in a rude manner and that not professional ,and do not reassure customers and I think that such an administration can not that trust him to manage this project , where trust can not be restored again, we as observers put the responsibility on the management of the hotel most Which is duty to fix any problem suffered by the customer at the same time and not deliberate negligence is a solution to end the problem and forget it, and now we wait for the official response from the hotel officials to see the extent of interest and responsibility they bear

Nice hotel, the room was well kept and a good size, friendly staff, nice breakfast selection. We used the car park shared with the sister hotel next door, parking spaces are tight but it is London. Would happily stay again.

Compare to other hotels of the same level this one was lacking hygiene rundown room,semi broken air condition with absolutely .empty fridge was very remarkable. Door and window was so old

I have stayed here 4 nights. Service is really good. Breakfast and bar in the evening are very professional.
Prices for a room are huge. But that is London. But my room and especially my bathroom was too small. No matter what price you pay

Stayed for business. Hotel is perfectly clean. All staff very professional and helpful. Everyone wearing masks and sanitizers in every corner. Cleaners are constantly cleaning lifts, door handles and public areas. When lockdown is lifted, I will bring my family for the weekend. Thank you for the lovely stay Joan and team!

Just in front of the Underground station , all three lines ( picadilly , bakerloo and yellow ) , very clean, neat and good hotel that i can choose for another trip . You wont regret it . f you dont want to take the breakfast in the hotel there are very nice coffee and sandwich and breakfast places around , also there is a small tesco open until midnight m

Old English charm and culture. Small shops, English pubs, money exchange, metro, and pharmacy are all in walking distance. Try afternoon tea. It is wonderful and the staff is gracious. The concierge is very help in getting taxis and what else you need. You will not be disappointed .

A scent of an old mansion, renovated with all important stuff available. Located just 10 sec of a subway station.

Was there in May for the Royal Wedding, great location and you will love the doorman

Room is much smaller than shown online. To make matters worse, even though we reached a day late, the room was dirty. Very very disappointing experience and overpriced room.

The hotel is in a cracking location and literally over the road from the tube.

An excellent hotel in a perfect location. The hotel is comfortable, classy, and has a great restaurant below. I will definitely be staying here again, although it is a bit pricey. You do pay for the location however, not 20 yards from the Tube, surrounded by great restaurants, and 2 blocks from Hyde Park.
I would definitely recommend this establishment, if you can fit the bill.

Not impressed with the level of customer service provided by this hotel. The location is good and the building is lovely but we will probably not be returning again after this experience.

Very nice hotel. A couple of the drawers in our room were loose on the runners and the chef at breakfast couldn't handle our food intolerance request for well cooked eggs, so it drops a star for that.

Another lovely stay at the Bailey's hotel. The hotel looks brand new due to deep cleaning. Always pleasant stay here. Love this hotel I always stay here. It is like my second home. Staff friendly and welcoming. They anticipate my needs. They are strict with Covid guidelines. I feel safe staying in this hotel

The hotel is very nice. The location is great, right across from glouchester road tube station 5 minutes from South Kensington then First area. The rooms are clean when you arrive, but the daily cleaning is not great! A good breakfast ... maybe there is little choice and they are not good for replacing food and tables, where something is always missing!
The reception ?? TOP !! They solve any problem for you

The staff made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The location was great easy reach to the museums and gardens. Breakfast was delicious and catered for my food intolerance. We will return.

Overall a good hotel. The location is unbeatable, as it is right by the subway station. In addition, the rooms are very clean and great schalisoliert. Too bad that we had a "view" on a brick wall in a deluxe room (room 210). In addition, the breakfast is a very, very hectic atmosphere, which makes a cozy, quiet breakfast impossible. The poor waiters are incredibly stressed and therefore always on the move. Can not you hire more staff to relieve some of your workload?

Excellent structure. Staff very welcoming and courteous. Spacious and clean rooms. Only observation is the poor choice in the "typical Italian" sweet breakfast for the rest I recommend.

Can't grumble as a base for exploring it's easy to get on tube busses and taxis. A good hotel for walking over to the natural history museum. Breakfast was perfect and the bar is lovely to chill out after a busy day. You might struggle with younger children there, our two year old seemed to terrify the staff there!

A Historical hotel located very close to Gloucester Road Tube station.

The hotel is very clean and tidy but the reception did have a bad odour during our trip. Also the exterior and reception areas are decorated with weird Christmas type lights that make it look tacky IMO.

The room we stayed in was the classic small but very clean and well decorated. It has one of the most comfortable beds I ve ever slept in.

The absolute WORST client service I have experienced.
I stayed here for 3 nights, I have a push chair and no one helped me through the stairs not even once. No one helped me with luggage at check in or check out.

Breakfast was awful, very poor selection and bad quality food.
One of the 3 days the cleaner didn't do our room.
We asked for a cot bed and was not supplied. We had to call reception twice to remind them.
The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful shouting at me at check out.

I don t recommend staying there . The first impression I got from the receptionist was moody. The rooms are too small, not big enough for two people. Breakfast wasn t too clean, the milk was dirty, the tables as well, they were sticky.

Excellent location just next to the tube. Very easy access from Heathrow airport. Rooms are nice and clean. Room has American and EU outlets + USB charging in case you don't have an adapter. Free WiFi and TV has build in Chromecast. Hotel has lounge with free refreshments.
