I want to give this hotel a good review, but due to what I was told was a "technical glitch" upon check in, I was put into a very tiny room at the far back corner of the hotel which was below the level I booked. After the first night we were able to clear up the mistake and I was moved to the type of room I booked and prepaid for. The hotel says they are unable to credit the difference between the two rooms for that first night. So not only was I inconvenienced by being put into the wrong room (which I wouldn't recommend) and having to move rooms the next day, but I ended up paying for a higher category room than I received for that night. I asked twice at the front desk to rectify the billing--but they didn't know how?! I've emailed the manager since checking out, but he doesn't respond. I finally got a note back saying they can't do anything about it but they would upgrade me on my next visit--not particularly helpful since I won't be in London in the foreseeable future. I've never encountered a business that admits to making a mistake yet won't rectify it and is content to charge a customer for services they didn't receive. For that, I would definitely not recommend this hotel.
