Had the owner come haul my dumb butt out of a ditch, my truck was stuck pretty good with no wheels touching. He got me out with no damages. I thought my front and rear difs were toast. Nope.. All thanks to these guys. I was surprised how fast and good of a price it was too!!

I am so annoyed right now. Just learning this post. I will finalise my absolute disgust with this OWNER of Mill Bay Towing who goes by the name of Chuck, in the next few days. More to come on this subject as I compile my evidence and witnesses. Just to make the viewers perfectly aware of the facts that this had nothing, NOTHING!! to do with the employees of this company. They could not have assisted me anymore and were very diligent in doing so. Thank you Jamie and crew!! Long, hard hours in this business at this time of year I concur.

Stay away from this company, if you can. If you are a single female, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Consider yourself warned.

Unprofessional.

Unprofessional.

I called Mill Bay Towing when my alternator died less than 200 meters from the ferry this weekend. He sounded annoyed that I bothered him on the phone.

When he arrived he insisted on jump starting my van immediately and having me pay after. I asked him to boost me right before I left (as this was an alternator issue, not a battery issue) and he said "uhh, no".

I did end up getting him to boost me right before I left, he wouldn't hang out for five minutes and give me a bit of a charge even after I explained the situation. You'd think that when you charge somebody more than $70 for 8 minutes of work, you could go the extra mile or at least not be a prick about it.

I won't use Mill Bay Towing again. I'll call a friend to help out or pay extra to get good service from a company out of Victoria.

Expected to wait a good amount of time for a tow truck after my cars wheel bearing disintegrated and left me stranded. Wasn't lont at all before Mill Bay Towing Driver Cameron pulled up to save the day. Super helpful fella and extremely good customer service looking to help out in the best way he can with a positive attitude. Appreciate them being there when I needed them and helping out. Price was also lower than I expected so it's an understatement to say their rate is "fair". It's great. All in all very satisfied and would recommend

Had my car towed after I parked it on the road because my neighbourhood was too icy to drive in or out of. Fair enough that they towed it but when i called the lady on the phone told me it was $194 to get it back (absolute rip off) and then told me i couldn t come in to get it because the manager wasn t there. Didn t tell me when i was going to be able to get my car back (2 days before christmas!) but eventually called me back and told me to be there in 20 minutes. When i asked her for the address she had to ask someone else where it was?? She didn t even know where the towing place was, and she s the one who answers their phones. When i got there to get my car the guy told me it was $221 for the tow and the day pass. My car wasn t even in their lot for 12 hours, but he told me that s how it works. Absolutely the worst service i ve ever had, and they are a huge rip off. Do not call them if you need a tow.

I had the unfortunate need for their services, and found them to be very professional, and courteous. A towing company is not something you need every day, hopefully never. I would recommend their services if you found yourself in need

Mill Bay Towing helped us get our car back home after having some engine issues. We expected to wait almost 2 hours, but the driver (I don't recall his name) was there within 40 minutes! He was friendly and extremely helpful!

Total scamm artists . Charged me for services not even rendered and then lost my bill and dodged my phone calls when I asked about it . My radiader coolant lines where broken and leaking after i got my car out and weren't when they went in. They couldn't even tell me how my vehicle was towed because ebrake was on and it needs to towed a certain way. The addition on the receipt was wrong by about 100 dollars and they couldn't return phone calls using a receptionist and wife to pass the buck! Watch out for these guys. I refuse to use them watch out they are scamming!

Quick and friendly phone response and dispatch in spite of the snow and ice. Michael was very conscientious about getting my car out of the snow and safely onto the truck. With the battery dead, he knew how to disconnect the shifter to get it into neutral Safe driver on the Malahat and pleasant conversation too. Very satisfied with the quality of their work. Thanks

These guys are fantastic. Excellent friendly service. I had a flat tire and lost my key for the locking hubs which they were able to assist me with. I would certainly recommend their service to anyone. We are very lucky to have such an outstanding business in our area.

Easily the most unprofessional, unkind man I have ever encountered. So rude! You'd think with this job he would have a little compassion.

Will never use his service again! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

My vehicle overheated, and then eventually broke down just after the south Shawnigan Lake turnoff; right to the side of the merging lane. I was in a blue/silver two-tone 1973 VW Super Beetle.

To my gratefulness, Millbay Towing eventually came to my rescue. Specifically, the driver by the name of "Michael" (or just Mike); not only did he use every means within his power to make an expedient appearance (even legally using the shoulder lane with his emergency vehicle lights) to get to me in a prompt time, but he also brought two frosty bottles of water; which I was MORE than happy to see after baking in the Sun.

Highly recommended.

Recently I was driving through Cobble Hill Village when I stopped to let a Mill Bay Towing truck maneuver its load into the service station. At least that's what I thought I was doing. Instead the driver parked his truck and the vehicle being towed right in the middle of the street, completely blocking the road. I waited but he just got out of the truck and walked off. I backed up and took a different route to get where I needed to go, and when I returned some time later he was still blocking the road and holding up traffic. If that is the sort of arrogant and ignorant behaviour this company allows from its employees, I will definitely remember NOT to call them for towing or any other service.

Unorganized to say the least. The lack of communication of proper information was definitely frustrating. In their defence I think a few of the staff are fairly new so I m sure in the near future others will have a lot more smoother experience with them then I did.

They threatened to call the cops and leave my car on the road as a scare tactic if I didn't add an extra $40 payment to the original quote, and were overall rude. The driver even started walking away, saying he'd "leave me to the cops". Not something you want when your car is broken down. I do not recommend Mill Bay Towing at all. The manager is even in on everything. What an embarrassment to Island businesses.

Mill Bay Towing saved my life. My Van broke down on a blind corner on the Malahat in the snow and rain as it was getting dark. Carly, I believe her name was, was an excellent dispatch and was spot on with the tow's pick up time. Mike the tow driver was a beauty, thank you sincerely for risking your health to get me out of that jam. Put this company on your speed dial if you drive around Mill Bay/Malahat. Thank you Mill Bay Towing.
