Avoid this place at all costs. I sent a request in for simple paperwork for a work accommodation to be filled out several weeks before it was due. The initial email address I sent this information to was invalid (I found this on mile high's website). I then called them and sent the paperwork to a new email address and asked that they fill it out. The lady I spoke with on the phone (Janet) said that this wouldn't be a problem and she would pass it along to Terry Cheung to complete. Several days passed, and I did not hear anything. I followed back up with Julie (the lady I emailed my documents to) and she had Janet call me at 7:15 in the morning and Janet decided to schedule me for an appointment with Terry the next day without my permission. I attempted to call their office multiple times throughout the day to cancel this appointment that was randomly scheduled for me- and nobody picked up. I told them prior that I switched medical providers and I was informed that mile high no longer accepted my provider, but they scheduled me an appointment anyway... I found this to be extremely dishonest and I asked that the situation be reviewed by their management for poor customer service and a lack of integrity (as I would have had to pay a significant amount out of pocket since my insurer was not covered). I truly do not feel that Mile High Medicine is a place of integrity as they care more about making a quick dollar from appointments rather than truly caring about their customers.

This is my first ever time posting a review online, so I hope you can truly tell the negative impact this office had on me. Due to their lack of service and greed, I missed my accommodation deadline at work. Extremely disappointing.

Oh- and also, this office (particularly dr. schindel) sends a wildly significant amount of spam mail, emails and voicemails about irrelevant services that he offers- which just adds to the overall annoyance of dealing with this shady company. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere- I'm convinced that the majority of these reviews are forged by their employees.

This place is the worst! They have a serious lack of communication and it seems that no one knows what they are doing. Stay away. I had blood work done a month ago and received the results. I received no correspondence from my doctor on next steps. I've called in 3 times over the past three weeks. Each time I was assured that this was going to be escalated and I would receive a prompt return call....I'm still waiting. I called again today and received an out of office for Labor Day weekend. It's now 9/11 and Labor day ended 4 days ago. Unbelievable!

Ashlynn was very rude and calling me a liar. I never had trouble with getting my covid test results besides taking awhile to receive them but Ashlynn was telling me that they didn't even do my test so she wouldn't have results when this isn't my first time testing at a drive thru and results go to them. Front desk is usually rude but not as rude and unprofessional as Ashlynn was. She's the only person who gave me trouble for this. I then called again to see when my last vaccination was and Ahlynn answered again she then told me it was a year ago. I don't know if she's new or something but when I called to talk to someone else and Jessica answered she said my last shot was a month ago. Jessica was nice and helpful.

Something just always goes wrong here. The last time, the refill date was misprinted and it's been hell trying to figure it out with their admin. I like Dr. Spencer but will likely find a new practitioner soon.

I always get in right away; no 20 min wait in the waiting room, another 20 in the visit room, right in, right out. My doc is fantastic, attentive, listens to me, has a great bedside manner and offers options. So much better than my previous physician in Conifer.

My husband's family has gone to Mile High Family medicine for years, and I had the pleasure of being seen here for a year before we were stationed out of state. The care that I received while at Mile High was outstanding! The doctors were always knowledgeable and patient with me and took the time to explain what was wrong with me; especially Dr. Rohweder! I also got allergy testing and treatment here after having a bad reaction to some makeup. Sarah and Janassa are the best! My injections never hurt and they always made me feel like family. I was in and out for every appointment, and never made to feel rushed or that I was a nuicance. I miss this office and all of the wonderful staff more than I can say! Every person there is an asset to this practice! And I LOVE that it is a Christian office; it certainly put my heart in the right place going to the doctors! I love you guys!

I've been a patient of the practice for a few years now and their service is wonderful. They are trustworthy, they are accurate and knowledgeable, and they treat you like you're important and valuable

I have gone here since before I was married. I use to go to the same church as Dr. Schindel. Also, I only use to see Dr. Schindel or Dr. Spencer when I switched to this place because of the increasing horrible wait times I would experience with my past primary care doctor. When I switched it was great! When I had an appointment at 3pm I was in seeing the doctor at 3:10pm after all the nurse checks. I was in and out. Then I got married and my wife and I moved to Pennsylvania for three years and then moved back. Coming back I have to say it has been a horrible experience with the PA Jessica Luedtke. She has the worst bedside manner of any medical professional I have ever experienced. She is the reason I am scoring this as a three and not at least a for. Furthermore, this place has turned into my old doctor's office of extremely long wait times. And for that reason my score is dropping to a two star

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO MILE HIGH FAMILY ME...

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO MILE HIGH FAMILY MEDICINE. After my visit I received a bill from LabCorp in the mail stating that I owed money for my service. Luckily I am not incompetent like them and noticed on my bill that they had entered all of my insurance information incorrectly so I called them and verified all of my information (WHICH THEY ALREADY HAD ALL THE PROPER INFORMATION ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM). They told me that they would re-bill the insurance company with the proper information...but apparently they couldn't get it right the second time around because this time I received a notice saying that my credit score was about to be affected. I call AGAIN (taking MORE time out of my work day to try and resolve their stupid mistakes). This time they referred me to my insurance company who stated that they have not received a single claim on my behalf. I called the doctors office back and they re-billed the claim with the "proper information." YAYYY CONGRATS!! BUT WAIT, they sent over my DOB wrong. I received a letter from LabCorp requesting my insurance information. Luckily I had a question so I called them. They were unable to find me in the system because MILE HIGH FAMILY MEDICINE sent over the incorrect DOB. So now I am waiting on an extention to be added to my claim. Lets see what happens next time around.......Hopefully the 4th times a charm. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO A FACILITY WITH INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WHO CLEARLY CANNOT EVEN BILL AN INSURANCE COMPANY PROPERLY. HOW CAN I EVEN TRUST THEM TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE MEDICAL CARE??!?!?!?!??! God only know they will probably send you home with 2 medications that have a negative reaction with one another..... doesn't seem like a trust worthy medical facility to me...Please learn from my mistake and avoid this facility at all costs. (FYI: this is the first review I have ever written....I was clearly was not very pleased with their service.)

We LOVE our family doctor. I have gone back and forth trying to find a primary care doctor I like and now the search is over. The facility is nice. Reception is fine. But the level of care, wisdom, and service we get from our doctor and his nurse are great! I always get my labs, xrays, and prescriptions speedy. My only complaint is that there is no email or direct contact system so I can communicate with my dr directly - you have to go through the receptionists. Not cool. They owners of this office need to trust their doctors enough to let them have open communication with their patients. Of course once the dr gets the memo from the receptionists he calls me but there is a waiting period.

They were all nice, I went here for my first appointment which is for bad anxiety (previously went to mile high psychiatry and they were a joke and didn't actually care about their patients.) The doctor here seemed very knowledgeable and actually listened and wants to help me and not have me come in every two weeks like the last place I was at. So for that, I really appreciated this facility. It's kind of far for me but for the service and care, I will keep coming here.

I love my doctor but the staff here is 100% the wrost...how are they getting paid to do nothing. They forgot to send my prescription, half of the time they don't answer the phone ( I literally called 4 times before I got someone), its just not worth it anymore. 3 visits and 3 horrible experiences with a horrible staff, but a excellent doctor.

I am a class a cdl truck driver and have been going. To mile high family for years.every year I have to get dot forms filled out for my medical card. Every year it s a problem with dr Spencer he seems to go brain dead. Losing forms and not realizing how important it is that I get this information in a timely manner. Today I sat in the waiting room for over 2 hours and then was told I had to make an appointment and come back. My medical card expires this week so I won t be able won t be able to drive until I get this taken care of. Thanks dr Spencer.

Predatory medical practice. Be prepared for the uncovered bills due to the shotgun method of testing that the doctors request without confirming coverage or disclosing to you what is being tested or the results. They will not help you and leave you on the hook with the labs.

I have been seeing Dr. Micheal Shindel for some time now. I am very happy. My 1st apt I went over my concerns and liked how I was treated and I felt he was very knowledgeable plus knew who to refer me to so I could get to the bottom of my condition. I do think it is hard to find a good Doctor that you feel you can trust. No office is perfect and they are costly to run. I would recommend Dr. Schindel.

Unprofessional. They treat people like they are just an insurance card and a dollar sign. No communication between the doctors, nursing staff, and front end people. Incredible bad communication skills with patients. Zero bedside manner. I do no recommend and will not ever be going back. I would rather die then leave my care to the incompetent idiots at mhfm.

The new owner Michael Schindel's aggressive marketing campaign -- including robo calls, mailings, and unwanted spam -- has me leaving for better care elsewhere. The staff was nice in the past, but the changes are for the worse.

I was very impressed w/the front office. The receptionist's were very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The medical assistant was waiting for me as I was checking in. I really appreciated the time the doctor took w/ me answering my questions. This has been my best experience at a doctor's office.

As others have stated. Incompetent people working there. If you do go, please take it upon yourself to make sure they are correctly entering in your information. They've screwed up many times. Mile "high" is very accurate .

Dr. Michael Schindel has been my doctor for several years and has always been very caring and professional in meeting my medical needs. He is very good at diagnosing and treating any problems that I have had and has referred me to specialists when needed. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Mile High Family Medicine to anyone looking for good medical care.

If you're looking for a doc that knows what they are doing and who will listen, look no further! Dr. Laura was the end of my 2 year struggle to find answers and get help. She listened to me and was able to get me the answers and help I needed in one visit. I wish I found her sooner! And the office staff is so friendly and efficient! Thank you Mile High Family Medicine !

The doctor's here are okay. However, the front office, including billing, prescriptions, etc. are absolutely terrible.

Have a prescription you need? Well, try calling the office 3-4 times, and coordinate the entire thing with your pharmacy, then ultimately have to drive into the office to pick up the script personally, and deliver to your pharmacy. This has happened on every occasion when it comes to scripts.

Do you like to pay timely, however their office can't figure out a correct address for you? They won't follow-up either. Not to mention, when you get the bill you might be surprised at what the dollar amount is. The only explanation I received, "the doctor codes the session, and I cannot change it". I received a $150 bill from them for a 5 minute appointment, and the same $150 bill to get a full blown physical.

I tried to like these guys, even gave the doctor the opportunity to call me personally so I could explain my frustrations. Would never suggest these people to anyone.

The doctors and staff at Mile High Family Medicine have always been very professional in their work. I have improved my personal health and outlook on life since I have been a client of theirs and know that my personal doctor Daniel Borkert has helped my health improve and look forward to many years of friendship and guidance. I can't thank the staff and providers at Mile High enough for recently helping me jump through numerous hoops to get medical clearance for a new job position. Everyone there is friendly, attentive, and efficient. Dr. Rohweder worked with me for a perfect solution for menopause (Pellecome rocks!), and I always feel cared for when I visit. Thank you Mile High Family Medicine!

I went in for my annual physical and had a wonderful experience. I saw Amber who is a nurse practitioner and my appointment went very well. She was kind, attentive and listened well to my questions as well as answered them very thoroughly. I also found the front desk staff to be helpful. This was only my first visit, but I d recommend Mile High Family Medicine based on this visit.

My wife drove to see them for an ER follow up in the snow, called ahead and said she was going to be 5 minutes late (turned out to be less) and they turned her away because they have a 'policy' that states you have to be 10 minutes early.

I understand why you have these policies, but common sense should be part of health care.

Cherry on top - they tried to bill her for the visit. Yeah...it's one of those places.

I have been going to MHFM for about 10 years and my wife has been seeing a physician there for 5 years. We have both decided to leave due to the continued issues we have seen with the administrative staff. The latest issue I had was 1: I was given incorrect information about how I could obtain additional refills for a medical condition, 2. My appointment was cancelled without my request, and 3. When they confirmed that I could come in at the originally scheduled time (after I demanded that I been seen at the scheduled time) - I was sitting in the waiting room for 30 minutes before I asked for my copay to be refunded and left. I even checked in after 15 minutes (per the sign in the lobby) and I was assured I would been seen right away. Due to the continued frustration in the front of the office with the administrative staff, we have no choice but to change providers and establish new relationships with another practice.

Fancy Office - Crappy Service. I've been trying this office out, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but in 3 visits, I've had 3 poor experiences:1. Took my son to them for a follow up because he had Bronchiolitis. I had called them (his PCP), but they could not see him that day, so they suggested I take him in to Urgent care. Ok, fine. Take him in for a follow up the next day, but we were ten minutes late. He was struggling to breath again so we had to nebulize him before we could leave the house. I was told we missed our appointment, and that was that. I tried to explain why but they said "You were late... so... yeah..." 2. Went in for strep. They did a send away strep test and gave me a prescription. They called me 3 weeks later to let me know that I did in fact have strep. Good to know... three weeks later. 3. Went in for a physical. Got blood work done. I called 11 days later because I still hadn't heard anything and I was anxious to know the blood work was normal. "Did someone call you with the results?" No, that's why I'm calling. "Oh... I see... Well I can send you the link to our portal so you can see the reports? Call back if you have any questions." To be clear, the reports are not in lay man's terms, I have no idea what they mean, and now have to call back to beg for someone to tell me what they mean. Good thing I haven't been worried about this for the last 11 days or anything, might make this kind of stressful! The front desk staff is clueless, unempathetic, can sometimes be pretty snooty, and it's a miracle this office stays as busy as it does. I also wonder why it takes weeks to find out lab results when every time I've been in there they have at least 8 people working behind the front desk. They must just be there to count the money. I would be shocked if I found out the medical staff has no idea that this is the way the front desk operates.

Simply stopped in to purchase a supplement; front counter staff most helpful: advised that a larger bottle of same product was available. Purchasing the larger bottle made perfect sense for multiple reasons. My affiliation with Mile High Family Medicine is very recent; thus far I have been most favorably impressed.

The primary doctor that I saw growing up was never a positive experience, so I always avoided going to the doctor (I would go to the walk in clinics). When I started coming to Mile High and seeing Laura about 2.5 years ago, I had a much better experience! Both the front office and back office staff were very pleasant and I was always called back close to my appointment time. I always saw Laura and she was absolutely wonderful! She really listened to what I had to say and was genuinely interested in my well being. It was the first time that I really felt like I could talk about the issues that I was having and receive the help that I needed. I recently moved away from Colorado and am very disappointed that I am not able to continue my care here.
