Fancy Office - Crappy Service. I've been trying this office out, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but in 3 visits, I've had 3 poor experiences:1. Took my son to them for a follow up because he had Bronchiolitis. I had called them (his PCP), but they could not see him that day, so they suggested I take him in to Urgent care. Ok, fine. Take him in for a follow up the next day, but we were ten minutes late. He was struggling to breath again so we had to nebulize him before we could leave the house. I was told we missed our appointment, and that was that. I tried to explain why but they said "You were late... so... yeah..." 2. Went in for strep. They did a send away strep test and gave me a prescription. They called me 3 weeks later to let me know that I did in fact have strep. Good to know... three weeks later. 3. Went in for a physical. Got blood work done. I called 11 days later because I still hadn't heard anything and I was anxious to know the blood work was normal. "Did someone call you with the results?" No, that's why I'm calling. "Oh... I see... Well I can send you the link to our portal so you can see the reports? Call back if you have any questions." To be clear, the reports are not in lay man's terms, I have no idea what they mean, and now have to call back to beg for someone to tell me what they mean. Good thing I haven't been worried about this for the last 11 days or anything, might make this kind of stressful! The front desk staff is clueless, unempathetic, can sometimes be pretty snooty, and it's a miracle this office stays as busy as it does. I also wonder why it takes weeks to find out lab results when every time I've been in there they have at least 8 people working behind the front desk. They must just be there to count the money. I would be shocked if I found out the medical staff has no idea that this is the way the front desk operates.
