Awesome crab. Mike is great. Shout out to Quentin, AKA "Avenue Q," for his big boy moves on those crabby bois. They should have a warning on the front of the building saying "big bois only."

Went to have a last seafood of summer here around 2:30. We were old he wait would be around 20 min. We were seated within in 10 min. Are waitress Josie was prompt, efficient and polite. Are food was delicious the broiled seafood combination was truly delicious! The doze In crabs we ordered were hot and perfect. Will definitely eat here again. Oh yeah the views aren't bad either. I don't understand why some of these other reviews are so bad. May we got lucky and just went there at the right time. Or those bad reviews are from competitors trying to give Mike's a bad rep.?

I wouldn't say it was bad but I probably wouldn't recommend to friends. It might be a decent spot for out of towners but locals should consider crossing the big bridge for crabs.

Fried shrimp was fried a little hard. Suspected they might be frozen. At least they looked it. But it was worth the beautiful scenery.

The staff was amazing.they were friendly but service was slow.the food was over priced and over cooked 28 dollars for a 9oz steak n 6 frozen butterfly shrimp.the oysters on a half shell were very good very well displayed and price was spot on.the crab dip how ever was priced at 15 dollars was a very small bowl it was dry not creamy and the Spinich in the dip would of been better if it had been chopped n blended in not LG leaf pieces.will try again once the viruse is over lets chalk this up to a covin19 side effect

Very pleasant and relaxing by the water. Service from Brittany was excellent and the pub haddock sandwich was cooked to perfection!

Great service and more importantly GREAT CRABS! Right on the water with gorgeous views especially watching the sunset. Drinks are cheap and the staff is friendly.

Our family dined here today for an early Father s Day lunch. We were really looking forward to this, as it was our first time in a restaurant in over 3 months. Everything was great.... the appetizers, crabs, burgers, and beer. We requested a table on the deck and had less than a 5 minute wait. Megan is an excellent waitress and made the afternoon that much more enjoyable. We are already looking forward to our next trip back.

Great food, great service, great ambiance, and decent parking

Wait was a bit slow, but understandable. Their food was delicious and quite fast considering the wait. 4/5 would definitely go again.

Mike's is my favorite crab house in the Annapolis area, and really the only place to get nice and messy eating a couple dozen freshly-steamed crabs. The outdoors area is a beautiful dock overlooking the area that provides beautiful summer views. If you're looking to switch it up, Mike's will also occasionally have an excellent soft-shell crab sandwich that truly hit the spot, as do many of its non-crab offerings.

I have been coming here for many years. I live in Maine now, and no visit to Maryland is complete without coming here. I always get the steamed shrimp and snow crab clusters. They are far and away the best I have ever encountered.

Crabs year round - count me in! Nice menu with large seating capacity right on the River Front. Big bar with good service.

Hour long wait at 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. I guess the weather was so wonderful, it brought everyone out. And we all had the same idea: seafood! Totally worth the wait though. The food was fresh, came to the table piping hot, and tasted amazing. Solid overall experience!

I think they charge to much for the quality of food you receive. The food is just alright not good or great. They told the host prior to coming the bill could be split but once we got there they told her no only by table groups.

It was our first visit. The food was great and a very generous servings. The calamari was delicious. The cream of Crab soup was very good according to my husband who had a cup.My lump crab cake was really all lumps of crab meat. No fillers. My husband's haddock sandwich was a big piece of fish in a bun, he can only eat half of the fish. Our server, Dylan, was attentive and wore his mask all the time. The only thing that would have been nice and earn an additional star would be hand sanitizer in each table. We brought our own.

Stopped in after a day on the water. Service at the I side bar was outstanding. The bartenders were around and constantly asking if we needed anything. Had cream of crab soup that was excellent, oysters Rockefeller were outstanding. Beers were cold and had a decent selection.

Our 1st time there and we're so glad we found it. Service was excellent. Food was great. It was lively on a Saturday afternoon but we didn't have any wait. We'll be back.

The best New England seafood restaurant in Maryland.

We wanted to get some seafood before we headed back home. I searched Trip Advisor and found someplace else that got great reviews. But when I asked the front desk at the hotel they suggested Mike's. Since it was less than 10 minutes away from the hotel that is where we went.

I'm sure in the summer months the atmosphere for this place must be amazing. But in January we walked right in no wait. We were seated quickly and put waitress McKenzie greeted us soon after and took our drink order.

My wife ordered the 2 jumbo crab cakes meal and I had the NY Strip and a crab cake combo. It was a filling meal however the crab cakes, which was really what we were there for, were just ok.

I know there are better crab cakes in Annapolis so the next time I'm in town I don't think Mike's will be my first choice. Not a bad place at all but I wanted to be wow'd and this was not it.

Waterside dining on the South River. The food was wonderful.Great lump crab cakes, steamed clams, generous salads and more.

After driving for 2.5 hours my wife said that she wanted a crab cake on the return trip back home. We had talked about Mike's on the way up to out location and decided we would stop there on the way back.After we was sited and given the Menu's. No one came to take our order for drinks or anything but a couple came in about 15 after us and they was waited on within 1 minute. We was sitting there about 12 minutes before them. This was our second trip there and a bad experience all around. The manager did come over a few times to apologizes and Sam was out waitress. She done an excellent job and my wife did say she would like to returned to give them another shot. The food was good like always and I'm giving them a 2 for the wait time.

1hr 45 min wait, with at LEAST 15 empty tables (and that was just outside)?? How is this possible? This night was one of the least busy nights I ve seen, and the hostess let us see her list of 25 customers waiting for a table ahead of us. Why aren t they in the empty tables??

Love the location. Their crab soup delicious. Smells a little fishy but otherwise love the ambiance.

I went to Mike's with my family. The bartender came to take my order but he just didn't make it. I noticed that the rest of the people were served fairly fast. I gave him some time, but after 10 minutes it became clear to me that I wasn't going to be served. I'm an American citizen and I have lived in this country for over 8 years, but never had I experienced this kind of discrimination. When my cousin saw I was taking so long, he came to see what was going on. He tried to place the order with a different bartender but he was ignored as well. It was humiliating coming back to our family with the hands empty.
What kind of business this is?
You deserve to a lawsuit.

Dined on Father's Day, 6/16/18 around noon with family of 5, and the food was terrific! Additionally, our server, Kayla definitely should be commended to being so attentive, efficient, and courteous. Can't wait to go back.

My friends and I visit here about once a year. The food is so so good, and the locale can't be beat. Sit under the canopy if possible.

Although the wait times during open hours were a bit long but the policy instituted during this covid period of not allowing pick up orders by phone only increases the likelihood of crowd formation for prolonged periods only adds to the spread potential and certainly does not foster good customer service.

Crabs were great. My son had a huge crab cake sandwich. I was very happy with our experience. We will be back again soon

Waited 40 minutes to get my order. The place wasn't busy and waitress didn't know the menu.

Food is ok the location is what makes the place nice go and enjoy the view

Mike's was great just beware to make sure and pay attention to when they call your phone for seating. Also pay attention to the order of you seating because Some ppl that think their entitled will demand seating immediately and get it over the ppl that was sitting there,unfortunately! No, they didn't make reservations per their conversation with the person seating.

Good service crabs are over priced for the size. My crab cakes was good and so was the drinks

I am only giving one star because there is nothing lower to give. I went to Mike's Crab House on yesterday to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day. The wait was three hours which is fine. This is typical for Mother's Day. Although being told that they ran out of crabs at 3 o clock, I still decided to wait. After waiting three hours, I believed that I lost my pager. I informed the host and she informed the owner. He was EXTREMELY rude. In saying about five words, he let me know that I did not want to spend my special day in an establishment that treats their customers rude. After the rude encounter, I found the pager as it was going off but I did not want to go to an establishment that has zero customer service. Even my young daughter said, "mom he was so rude".

So, I traveled down the street to The Chop House and had a fabulous birthday/Mother's Day dinner. The food and service at The Chop House was impeccable. The owner at Mike's Crab House actually did me a favor by turning me away for no good cause.

Fun atmosphere and great views. Highly recommend the firecracker cocktail.

Great place to have crackin'. They place is huge. I love to go back again. Hope soon they will serve more craft beers.

Great place for big groups, we had a team dinner here. The crabs are awesome, so are the non-crab options for anyone who doesn't eat crab (probably not vegetarian friendly though). Can't wait to go back!
