I enjoyed oh my God all my Crabs Legs deserts deck style eating on the lake huh some what hot at first. .later the Sun chilled huh
I totally ENJOYED
Great experience dining on water. Service and Food was great
Don't take reservations Waited 1.5 hrs for a table for 5 at 6pm. Seated at 7:30pm ran out of softshell crab by then Not enough parking 30 min wait for a parking spot. Way Over Rated
Super long wait and disrespectful behavior of staff made the whole experience very unpleasant.
The Oyster Rockefeller was really good along with the hushpuppies. The crabs were ok, but really overpriced for one dozen $75 per dozen. They really weren't #1 males, more mixed #2's. Even though we were seated fairly quickly, it took a long time for a server to take our order; we had to ask a busboy to find our server.
Good food, awesome orange crushes, our bartenders Tim and Matt totally Rock!! Beautiful setting to relax
Excellent seafood and service. I highly recommend you stop in and enjoy a great meal and atmosphere
Great seafood selection, and nice views of the water.
Excellent food nice atmosphere curtious and polite service.
Started watching the caps when the Stanley cup on my wedding anniversary I ate so much I was comatose food is 5 star and you can get here on your boat they have their own peir seating for large groups also
Nice place to sit and drink a beer and watch the boats on the water. However, took my wife there for our first time eating crabs and most definitely not worth the money. Ask for large received 5 inch crabs, which are considered smalls. Allen a hostess there brought out the crab meter and it ready a little under 5 inches. Wife writes reviews and that was the reason for the crab meter. Paid $80.00, for smalls will never buy crabs there again. Even being small they weren't meaty at all.
Not the same as Baltimore inner Harbor, but still good.
Good food. Fun atmosphere. Sweet server but never cleaned one single dish from our table the whole meal.
Gonna miss seating inside-outside ...Crabs always tthe
Fresh seafood.... nice ambiance.....if you get a window or patio seat
The crabs we're really good...we had a large group and service was good.
I love the atmosphere of this place! It is quite expensive though, but I think it's worth it! Awesome seafood spot!
Let s oyster cheers!
We had fun in this place. And we love it!
Food is reasonably priced and environment is beautiful!
They even provide a cute hummer for the crab. It is fun to eat this way.
Definitely giving 5 starts!
The food was great. The waitress did a very good job.
True crabhouse feel right on the water, filled with the sound of cracking shells and good, friendly conversation
First Visit there Was told was a 2 hour wait for outside 1/45 for outside it was about 99 degrees no brainer (inside it was). Headed over to nice cooled Tiki bar they had facing the water had two drinks (Rum-Punch was perfect) 1 hr later atleast that s what it felt like my table was ready. Moral of the story don t let the wait time discourage you from this place.
Crabs were really good had a dozen (male) price was reasonable and very worth it. Shrimp were really good and of good size. The calamari which were fried just right also had a cheesecake that was pretty good to be from a crab house !!!!
Everyone was pretty spread out and comfortable, taking necessary precautions for COVID-19.
Price was good Waiter was good and food was too would go back anytime THAnks !!!
This place was kind of a bummer. I tried initially to sit at the tiki bar but was super unwelcome and I felt weird. As if I was bothering the bartender... so I sat at a table. I ordered the crab dip and it was basically just a hot bowl of cream cheese with soft bread that doesn't work. So gross. My waitress was nice but I definitely won't come back.
Not perfect, but really solid. Had a pitcher and a dozen. Well seasoned and cooked. Waiter was fantastic.
Great atmosphere and great crabs. Love this place. Can't wait to go back
nice atmosphere and scenery but the wait to be seated was to long of a wait...crab balls are good and buffalo shrimp...
Great experience. Went for kids 21st birthday and best server I have had in the 20 times family has gone, Kayla was great never had to look for her, and really on top of things.
The wait and line to get in the parking lot showed me it must be worth the wait. And it was. Great tasting food.
Very nice place to eat and have a few drinks, if I ever get back in this area , I will most definitely come back again
Great food and view. Quick with service and the drinks are strong.
Great family place. If you're looking for the classic "bucket of Maryland crabs" on the water place, this is it.
11:00 early lunch to beat the crowds. Jumbo Crabs were HUGE & Heavy. The two of us ate 6 of these monsters. Yumm!
Best crab cake I have ever had, soft and melts in your mouth with a profoundly fresh crab flavor. Will be swinging by this joint everytime im in the area.
Great food and service. Visiting from St. Louis and had a delicious meal!
We had a large party with two vegetarians so called in advance to request accommodations and were assured they could take care of us with veggie burgers. There was nothing but a mediocre salad bar for them to eat. If you can't make an accommodation, don't make a commitment that you will.
Food is good if you order crabs or oysters. Everything else so so. They need a cook. Service is hit or miss. They missed today.
They over cook everything and dry it out. They can really ruin a piece of fish.
They were very Covid conscious. Clean place food was really delicious. I would definitely come back again.
Awesome place....so enjoyed the atmosphere and seafood.
Overall good food. The crabs weren't local (might be a time of year thing), and the restaurant was huge. It kind of had a feeding trough vibe, but that might be because I grossly overate.
Food was great. Waitress was very attentive. Pleasant experience.
I give this place 1 star because I have tried to dine here twice...
The 1st time we had to wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seated for the inside or the outside just to be told once seated that they were all out of blue crabs and snow crabs (the place is named MIKE'S CRAB HOUSE )
The 2nd time it was yet again a 45 minute wait inside and outside, the inside was practically empty (but we was told that the manager didn't want no one seated in those sections ) and we left....
Mind you I have yet to taste the food at this location...
Finally by the 3rd time trying to dine here we had no problems and actually got to taste the food, I wasn't disappointed with what I selected
Great food, good service, awesome view. Best fried green beans I've ever had.
MIke's Bar and Crab House is the pinnacle of delicious food. This is a must-go-to after the Annapolis Boat Show and the food is absolutely fantastic. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, even though there are plenty of spaces, but once inside you won't be disappointed. There is both indoor and outdoor seating (and the outdoor seating has a great view of the water, especially at sunset). Service is quick and you can usually be seated somewhat promptly, even on the busiest of days. I am not much of a seafood person, but the bacon wrapped scallops are amazing. The hushpuppies are a tremendous appetizer, as are the jalapeno poppers. The burgers here are fantastic and so is all the other food (the trick is to go with several friends and sample everyone's meal). Mike's is the place to go to finish your day on a fantastic note.
Wonderful, gotta try the cream of crab 1/2 & 1/2 of cream and Chesapeake is even better.
Only reason this place got 4 stars is because there should be a better way to keep you informed about the crab supply when you're waiting 2hrs for a table. Luckily, there were small and medium crabs left after waiting 2hrs but I think some people left because there were none left. Some notification should go out to you before you wait the entire 2hrs. With that aside, the staff was very friendly, the beer was good and the crabs were really good. This is a great place with a great view.
We have been loyal customers for over a decade. We had a great time as usual.
I love Mike's! I usually only go for crabs, but they do have a good selection of seafood. They do have non-seafood entrees but I usually go for crab.
The waitress did not pay us any attention like she did the other customers
Great crabs great atmosphere
Great service
Crabs were: Large $85 a dozen. Not all crabs good 1 was mushy inside and a few were very light. Also ordered steamed shrimp, very good, and side salad also nice and crisp.
Mckenzie was our server and she Rocked it!
Food way okay, service was poor and slow (and the restaurant was half empty). Worst part, the hostess staff. Remember restaurant was empty, but they were making people wait 30+ minutes to get seated. Maybe kitchen was slow, but at least let me sit at a table and drink some tea. Plenty of wait staff standing around, so problem was likely in the kitchen. But even when we left at 8pm, a couple was waiting for a table. We sat very close to the hostess stand, and they would tell new arrivals 30 minutes wait, and the party would look at the empty tables with a confused look; a few groups just left. As we left an older lady came out and yelled at the hostess for making people wait for a table in her empty (and very large) restaurant. Crab cakes were good, crab imperial not so much. Oysters poorly shucked. Oh and thanks for a half pre-filled cup thing of ketchup for my fries; geez. Oh, and the so busy (sarcasm) wait staff couldn't be bothered to refill that tea I just wanted to sip.
Great restaurant with good food! Fresh seafood and true
The best Large Male Crabs in the area! They were hot juicy and meaty!!
Food was plentiful.delicious, and price is affordable. The view was spectacular!
