The crabs were good, nice size, not to small. The ribs were excellent and fried chicken was ok! The restaurant was clean, great wait staff and it has a comfy home feeling. It sits right on the water so it offers awesome views!

We are from texas wanted to try Mike but we want an combination place with fish and shrimps in which they do not have that was new because we had never been to a sea place that dont have an combination like or with that in it and you choose which one you want so we left still looking for a good seafood place

We started with a plate of raw oysters. I had the crab imperial and my family had the soft shell crabs fried, and the New York strip. Everything was perfect and I loved the water view. Make sure you come early, as they reach capacity pretty quickly due to COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing.

*** they are NOT MARYLAND BLUE CRABS ***

Just call and ask, they told me they are from Louisiana, so you are paying the same premium price of a Maryland blue crab you would at another establishment but getting crabs that are out of state. Unless they at times have them from Maryland.... as of right now when I called they are NOT.

I have had other food here, and the atmosphere is nice and food tastes good so I gave 2 stars.

The food was great but the service was HORRIBLE...Pretty long wait time so we decided to sit at the bar which was completely fine with us, we wanted to get a few drinks. Someone approached us right away to ask what we wanted to drink and eat. We both got daiquiris, one trip salad bars, shrimp appetizers and cream of crab soups. The salad bar was okay, didn't have many choices for dressings. The shrimp were great, they were huge and very tasty. Our cream of crab soups never came. We ran out of our first drinks about a fourth of the way through the meal. No one ever came up to ask us if we wanted another nor would they even bother to look our way (hence why we could never ask for the cream of crab soup). We went the rest of the meal with nothing to drink and being ignored by the staff (there were at least 5 people behind the bar). When it came time to pay for the check we told him that we would like the check split. He brings the check back (everything on one and not split like we asked) and had charged us for an unlimited salad bar rather than the one trip salad bar. Then stood there and argued with us that they were the same price and a one trip salad bar did not exist. He even brought a manager over who said that they were the same price. I had to ask for a menu to show both our waiter and the manager that they are both on the menu and that one is around $4 and the other around $10. Once they finally realized I was correct we asked them to once again please split the check. The man who earlier took our order then proceeded to ask for us to write down on the back of the receipt what each of us ordered so that he could split the check...really? You just took our order less than an hour ago. We sat there another 15 minutes watching him and his manager try to figure out how to split a check. Needless to say I will not be going back. I am very disappointed with my visit, the food was great but the service was absolutely horrible.

I hadn't been here in quite some time. I used to eat crabs here. I took my boyfriend for his birthday. It was definitely a mixed experience. I'll start with the bad. We had an approximate 25 minute wait, which wasn't bad and expected considering it was a busy Saturday night. We went to the bar and ordered drinks. To me, the female bartender was quite rude. She wasn't very helpful in making recommendations for beer. The margarita was made from a bottled mix. My second margarita came rimmed with sugar, not salt.

We decided to order a couple of appetizers as our meal. I ordered a bowl of cream of crab soup for $7.95. Being a native Marylander, obviously I had high expectations. The soup looked like and tasted liked it came from a can, like it was made with skim milk and absolutely no seasoning. Not a lot of crab. The worse I've ever had. Our waitress, Lexi, was very nice about it and immediately offered to take it off the check. I decided to try the MD veg crab. Talk about a mistake and adding insult to injury! This soup was also the worse I have ever had! It was a very pale, weak tomatoey soup with veggies, and absolutely no seasoning, not even salt! Zero Old Bay! On a positive note it did have lots of white plumpy crab meat. I didn't send it back. Took it home to see if I could salvage it and doctor it up to be edible. The soup was taken off the check.

I ordered seafood potato skins that were very tasty and reasonably priced, too. He ordered 1 lb of 18 count steamed shrimp for $19.99. They were huge and delicious! Mozzarella sticks were also good.

Sharon and The Edge played that night. We had never seen them before. They were not good. The lead male singer has a nice voice and stage presence. The actual band instrumentally sounded pretty good. The lead female singer was just okay but the back-up female singer really brought the band down. We see a lot of local bands similar to this group (Oracle, New Censation) and they don't even come close to comparison.

Doubt we'll be back any time soon, except maybe during summer to sit outside, enjoy the view and eat some crabs.

Crabs are good, service is not consistent it depends on the server they're not trained the same. To drive there from DC is a distance to get "you not all that welcome here" is unpleasant. Now that people of color use mayo and ketchup to make a dipping sauce a spoonful of either it cost $2.50. The hillbilly music. Every once in a while you see a person of color working as a server. They have as abundance of mixed customers.

I come to this special restaurant often since I like the good mood that is outline this restaurant. The team is exceptionally loyal and skilfull. The service is extraordinarily efficient. Needless to say, the food they cook is excellent. I frequent many times and I was always pleased. The pay is honest. I highly recommend this place to to all.

So the food was good. She missed a few steps like my sisters lemonade (no biggie) but I have a big problem because Sadie our server told us that she/they did not do celebrations, as I explained it was my daughters birthday, which is why we were out for dinner this evening. Im a little confused because I witnessed two other tables getting birthday cake and being sung Happy Birthday too. Not the biggest deal in the world but I am a server/bartender and believe in customer services and that everyone should receive the same service equally. I'm feeling some kind of way! maybe Sadie was just really tired and ready to go home. I get it. No worries....that can make all the difference between 18% versus the proper 22% gratuity.

Very crowded and didn't feel COVID safe at all. Definitely not following all the precautions. We changed to a to-go order. Food was decent but nothing special. Perhaps outdoor seating when it's not thunder storming would have felt better.

stopped serving crabs at 9:20pm which is understandable but the couple sitting behind us was able to order. My food was less than mediocre and salad bar was laughable but clean. The best part was the karaoke. My husband thought they deserved another shot so he recommends them often to our friends. He attributed the service to the time of day.

HI Tony

HI Tony

Love Mikes but tonight was one of those off nights. Nearly 2 hours to get our table, we enjoyed drinks out on the deck and listen to music. The wait staff were busting there ass, Tara did a great job with us and then we retreated back to the outside bar after spending just over 4.hours at the restaurant, only to find out the Mudslide machine was turned off before 9:00 PM, disappointed.
Lily took care of being creative and fixed my wife a dessert frozen drink.
Fun night but a lot of chaos, this establishment has been here for many years and we will be back but; hopefully Management can help organize the chaos.
Tony has always been fair regarding any issues and will try to make things right.

Well I've never been one to give a single star ever however on memorial day 2015 I went here to have crabs for dinner. Unfortunately they did not have any more crabs and had been out since noon I was told by a greeter. So my advise is call ahead. I didn't find service was up to par at the door. I asked if it was possible they could call to their other company location Mike's Crab House in Pasadena MD to see if they had crabs and that request was refused. I went in to the Mikes Store next door and finally got some service. They called to the North location and great news there was Crab myself and 3 other disappoint couples headed right out there.

Came up to Maryland from Virginia for the Skins game and have always wanted to try the crab in MD. So after the game I googled crab houses and saw this one so I decided to check it out and man I was not disappointed! The crab was excellent and the service was equally as excellent! The waitress even took the time to show me how to crack open my crab since I was a newbie at it being from the South Central region of VA haha And the atmosphere was great as well. a real homey feeling place. I d give 6 stars if I could! I ll definitely be back. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting the Maryland crab experience.

Large, weighty, meaty, Maryland Blue Crabs are the specialty here and this is a great place to get them! Laid back atmosphere on the water. The French fries are actually generously hand-cut potato wedges dipped in a seasoned batter and fried-an experience in itself if you love potatos!
