I hadn't been here in quite some time. I used to eat crabs here. I took my boyfriend for his birthday. It was definitely a mixed experience. I'll start with the bad. We had an approximate 25 minute wait, which wasn't bad and expected considering it was a busy Saturday night. We went to the bar and ordered drinks. To me, the female bartender was quite rude. She wasn't very helpful in making recommendations for beer. The margarita was made from a bottled mix. My second margarita came rimmed with sugar, not salt.

We decided to order a couple of appetizers as our meal. I ordered a bowl of cream of crab soup for $7.95. Being a native Marylander, obviously I had high expectations. The soup looked like and tasted liked it came from a can, like it was made with skim milk and absolutely no seasoning. Not a lot of crab. The worse I've ever had. Our waitress, Lexi, was very nice about it and immediately offered to take it off the check. I decided to try the MD veg crab. Talk about a mistake and adding insult to injury! This soup was also the worse I have ever had! It was a very pale, weak tomatoey soup with veggies, and absolutely no seasoning, not even salt! Zero Old Bay! On a positive note it did have lots of white plumpy crab meat. I didn't send it back. Took it home to see if I could salvage it and doctor it up to be edible. The soup was taken off the check.

I ordered seafood potato skins that were very tasty and reasonably priced, too. He ordered 1 lb of 18 count steamed shrimp for $19.99. They were huge and delicious! Mozzarella sticks were also good.

Sharon and The Edge played that night. We had never seen them before. They were not good. The lead male singer has a nice voice and stage presence. The actual band instrumentally sounded pretty good. The lead female singer was just okay but the back-up female singer really brought the band down. We see a lot of local bands similar to this group (Oracle, New Censation) and they don't even come close to comparison.

Doubt we'll be back any time soon, except maybe during summer to sit outside, enjoy the view and eat some crabs.
