Found this place while exploring the city. The staff were extremely friendly and drinks were amazing, I'll be definetly going there again....

Had a surprisingly good time here when I went out to Fanueil one night. A very solid DJ and a (relatively) cheap cover charge $5.

Ive been coming here for over a year now. I cant get enough of the tacos. Wait staff is absolutely the best and the bartenders really know how to make some tasty beverages. Dont miss out!!

Went here while in town on business with a Manager from our Boston office and another member of my team.

We found the service (at around 2 in the afternoon on a weekday) to be courteous and prompt. When asked, the staff was quick to point out their favorites on the menu (and they even had a burger on the menu for my boss, who is not exactly an "adventurous eater!")

The food arrived hot and delicious. I had the Duck Taquitos, while another co-worker had tacos and my boss, the aforementioned burger... Everyone was well-pleased with everything, and the Manager from the Boston office has been there repeatedly since that visit.

This IS one place that I will be putting on my "must stop" list when I am back in Boston.

1 Star is also a big NO for the experience that we had!!

DEFINITELY WOULDN T SUGGEST IF YOUR FROM A DIFFERENT STATE!!

We were a group of 4 and were asked to show our ID s, when we did they suspected it to be fake. The guy used a torch light and checked but then he told that it was fake and didn t allow us in. When we could travel from one state to other with the same ID how can they say that its fake. Also they told us that they had some bad experience but what I feel is that they can t blame someone for what others had done. We don t mind checking/doubting our IDs as we know they are doing their job, but they shouldn t just confirm it as fake when they don t know how to differentiate a fake vs real ID, and may be should have a specialist to check and confirm it before saying it to our face that the IDs are fake. They were very rude in all this process and laughing by seeing at the ID s which was not at all comfortable and acceptable.

He called his manager and unfortunately he behaved the same and asked us so many questions doubtfully.

PS: By the way 2 of us in the group had been there twice before with the same IDs and the same guy who said the IDs were fake had let us in previously. This all seemed like it was done on purpose and was very mean.

No surprise they average a 3.4 rating, high priced drinks don't match a higher quality product, hostess was the nicest part of my experience at this Cantina & Tequila Bar

The food was barely edible and the service was lackluster

Waited a half hour after we ordered and still no food. Had to get up and leave. What a joke.

Phenomenal drinks. Bartender willing to customize for making extra spicy. Great appetizers. I'd recommend going for afternoons when you want a laid back environment. Would definitely go again. Great homemade salsa.

Great location but the food and drinks were average.

Two words: Lobster Spagatini. Best food hands down on a 4 day trip. Worth the wait. Great oyster and fresh seafood bar.

15$ for 2 tacos and $19 for 3 tacos. Food was good but not worth that money

Charging cover on a Friday night. It s not even like a club with live music or a band, literally a restaurant where you sit and eat charging cover to get in. The food here isn t that good, where you can t just walk to another restaurant that doesn t charge cover. $12 drinks, mediocre food, and a cover, no thanks.

Decent food, great tequila selection. Horrible service. The hostess told me that we couldn't be seated unless we were ordering food then continued to asked me 3 more times even though i said we were there to eat. Then our server snatched up our menu after ordering appetizers and acted surprised when i said we wanted entrees. At one point I ordered a second margaritas and she completely forgot. I had to walk up to the bar to get her because she never came back to our table. The facts could continue but I think you get the point. My bill was $97 and it would have been more if she would have just served us better. Cute atmosphere, good food selection, Horrible customer service.

I was overcharged on my bill for items I did not order as well as charging me for more expensive drinks than I asked for. When I brought the issue up with the manger, he refused to refund me since the card had already been run. He was also rude about it and tried to justify it by saying that it was not that much money.
Also, when I tried to contact the owner regarding his comment there was absolutely no response.

I have been here for both drinks and food and its a nice place in the area. The drinks and food are slightly on the pricier side but given this is right in the heart of tourist central in downtown Boston I am not surprised. Their menu has your typical Mexican food with a decent number of vegetarian options. The wait staff was nice and they were able to accommodate when I asked them to substitute one of the meat dished with only veggies. The late nigh scene gets busy and on weekends they have a DJ spinning top 40 music which nice if you are looking for some upbeat music. There really isn't a dance floor but plenty of space to move around.

Great margaritas, a bit slow service at the bar, even though it wasnt that busy. The prices were a bit high, but the decor was very nice and the place was clean. Ultimately the drinks were great and the place is cool, so I suppose you get what you pay for

The food was good, I had the steak quesadilla. It was pretty hearty, not too filling though. The chimichangas and burritos are really big so it's probably enough to feed two. The mija burger on the other hand was interesting and was a good size. The salsa is interesting as it does have a sweet taste to it but it could be a bit chunkier and spicier. As for the Elote, also known as Mexican Street Corn on the menu is okay. It is a little too plain for my taste but then I'm from California so most of the Mexican food here won't taste right to me. If you come here expect the food to be a little more on the pricey side, kind of like the other restaurants here or in Manhattan. Overall the restaurant has food that is good enough for my taste and their customer service meets my standards. It's definitely a solid restaurant to go to.

Went to Quincy Market in Boston as this is a popular tourist area. We were a bit hungry and wanted to get a couple of drinks outside on a patio. So we thought to give this restaurant a try. The food wasn t the greatest. The chicken tacos that I ordered were extremely dry and did not have any flavour. The mojitos were not that strong and seemed to be very sugary. If you want to get a drink (beer) then I would suggest this place. But the food isn t the best.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, waitresses was really pleasant but at the end it was hard for her to keep up with our orders due to being the only wait staff available. We wanted to take our leftovers to go due to big Portions but that did not happen. Waitress was such in a rush that she automatically started putting napkins empty drink glasses in the plates of the less than half eaten food.Over all the food was okay really really pricey, most likely due to location. I would go back for the huge variety of drinks!

Just ate here and the nachos we're good but the tacos were horrible. The chicken tacos had a burnt taste to them and the shrimp dry and only 3 pieces which is three bites. It's not authentic Mexican, far from it! I won't be back.

Not a huge Vegan menu but the vegetarian burrito without cheese was awesome.

Wrong drinks were brought out, we asked for them to be remade, the manager came over very aggressive and confrontational saying are you the ones complaining the drinks ? Couldn t believe he was actually the manager!

Thought this place would be great, but the drinks were overpriced and weak and would have had more if the bartender ever came back around to us. They had a cover charge shortly after we arrived, which is strange- once that happened it seems like we were ignored because we were there for casual food and not bar hopping.

Sat there for 25 minutes and didn t even get offered water. Finally left as no server ever bothered to come to my table.

Went today around 8:50pm I know it closes at 10pm but lady at front said wait time was 3 to 15 minutes so here I am it closed and I never got called on thanks a lot waited for 40 minutes before just getting up and walked away. Total waste of time. Lost a customer oh by the way wait time to get the food is crazy while I was there looking at everyone order food, it took at least another 20 minutes to receive it. Plenty on other restaurants around.

Ok place for delicious Mexican food. normally i would have posted a pic but food looked so good i couldn't stop. really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, i'll be back. menu is similar to a restaurant in el paso i liked.

What a wonderful experience. The folks here absolutely exceeded my expectations. I arrived with a party of 11 and they accommodated us immediately. We had a two servers (one for drinks and one for food), and they were on their game! The Long Island iced tea and painkiller drinks were very tasty and well balanced. The nacho appetizer was huge and loaded with goodies. I also ordered a burrito and found it to be delicious, with a very pleasurable texture. I am just blown away that stopping here, on a whim, worked out so well.

Manager would not accept a government issued, international work permit with photo, name, age, ect. as proof to drink.

Pretty mediocre food and super expensive for what you actually get. Two tiny tacos and a little cup of room temperature rice for $15? Give me a break. The very below average margaritas do not justify their $14 price tag either.

The only reason this gets 2 stars is that the staff were really great when we went. Otherwise this is a pitiful tourist trap and you're getting ripped off by going here. Even for Quincy market it's a disappointment.

Charlie Larner-I was in your establishment this evening and after paying for a meal and three drinks I was asked to leave by one of your employees. I had been at the bar watching the Duke-Syracuse game and finishing my last drink when this happened. In thirty years of patronizing restaurants this has never happened to me. WTF!!! Is this how we handle respectful paying customers these days???

Place is a complete joke... Service is the worst. 3 tacos for $20... Size of a quarter...worth a nickel. Dump it! Took 15 min just to get a waiter.
