Had a great day with my ladies. Great food great drinks great service

This place has a hint of what I call authentic Mexican food but was lacking some of my preferred tastes for example. The sauce on the enchiladas was like every other Tex-mex places. The food tasted good but it was missing a touch of garlic in some of the foods we tasted. We also ordered the fajitas and I was hoping they made handmade tortillas and no they brought out thin cheap tortillas not what I was looking for. The portions were sized correctly. The things I feel are lacking is a customer service training all the waiters are men here and although they are fast they are not that great at greeting or table sitting. When you walk in its missing that hostess smile. They have some nice ideas on the menu but I was in search of a real Mexican joint. I was impressed on the menu and will return to try a few other things.

Miguelites used to be a great place for Mexican food at reasonable prices. But the prices were raised and quality of food and taste has gone down over the past couple of years.

Liked the food. But I'm Vegan and not a lot of choices. Beans are cooked in animal lard and rice is made with chicken broth. Just putting that out there. All Mexican restaurants probably do this. Glad I know.

Questionable menu pricing and a "tricky" server: This morning I ordered two potato only tacos and an egg taco. The server Eusebio told me that they did not sell potato only tacos. He did say that they served potato AND egg tacos. Last week, I had ordered three potato only burritos without any problems. Anyway, so I ordered two potato and egg tacos and an egg taco. When the tacos came back, the fillings were the size of half a flauta, i.e., very meager fillings for a taco. So I took them as being three tacos. Then I get the final receipt, and I see that they charged me for 3 burritos for $8.85!!! And that is absurd because the burritos that I had last week were bigger and were called burritos. Eusebio seem to play a word sleight of hand talking about tacos. Very disappointed with Miguelito's, to say the least. As a note, I had ordered coffee, and the receipt showed a Diet Coke as part of my order. So I called to speak to the manager, but apparently the manager "Michael" was too busy at the time to respond. I will follow up if and when I get to speak to the Michael.

Only went once, authentic Mexican food but was $$$ for a plate.

I can say a whole list of things. But just going say save you the money and go somewhere else! Food wasnt good,service isnt good!

I ordered from uber eats tonight, and I really wanted three enchiladas but they didn t have the option to add one. So I put it in the notes and I mentioned it s my birthday. When the order arrived it not only had one extra enchilada but it also had a free dessert for my birthday, and it really made a perfect day that much better! Thank you so much Miguelitos

It was mexican food that I definitely could have made at home. Nothing special but the drinks were on point!

Good hot sauce and chips! The food is extremely greased up. If you ask for a #2 or #5 for example from the lunch special you get something different just rice and beens w chilli enchiladas lol.

Great food, fajitas for 2 is the correct amount. But the guacamole, avacado slices and pico were very warm instead of cold, that tells me they leave it out all day at room temperature.

I love everything they make specially their salsa and chips. The Staff are always genuinely nice and helpful as well.

Love this place! Super good food and the house margaritas are super good, actually stong and not watered down. They had vegetarian options for fajitas which was nice.

This has been a family favorite for 25 years. Absolutely one of our "go to's".

Parking lot was full on a Saturday night but there were too many tables populating a tiny space in the main seating area. I felt like the people around me were sitting in my lap and could hear everything I talked about with my wife. There was also a haze of smoke in the restaurant that caused several people to cough continuously which is offputting while you eat.

The food was good but not as great as it used to be 10 years ago. All in all, we decided to not come back based on this.

They were good and the service was nice. Lunch specials are great prices.

I love the food at this place! I'm Mexican so I can tell you its authentic and very delicious! Food is always very tasty and very hot when they bring it out, and the beer is always cold & refreshing. Waiters are always so friendly and helpful. Sometimes they even have live music, which is always nice :-)

Fast and courteous service. Food was very good, salsa a little spicy for me, didn't seem home made, not that it was advertised as such. Saw a lot of margarita's being served so I guess they are good.

I ordered the combo fajitas and the beef was so tough it was hard to chew. Should stayed with the chicken. Their hotsauce was the consistency of a spicy ketchup. Very little flavor. We were disappointed with our food and the rudeness of our server.We felt rushed to order our food too.

Terrible from the get go on a Tuesday evening. No welcoming, the waiter rushed us to order a drink and food. My enchiladas and husband's chimichanga--ugh! It was a mix of GROUND beef and chicken. When he can't eat something, then its really bad. The beans and rice eere fine. I asked for a glass for my corona and it arrived with salt on the rim. It was a beer, not a margarita!! The waiter finally said a meek thanks when he picked up our payment. A disaster. Won't be back.

Just left after taking over 45 minutes to get our order. The last item to be finished was nachos. How long does it take to make nachos? The food finally came with a stupid excuse about how their "fresh chicken" takes longer to cook. I know how to cook chicken, it doesn't take 45 minutes. Plus, it was about as tough as old shoe leather. We will definitely not be back.

I was not impressed with the service by any means. And when the kids went to the bathroom there was a roach so that ended the meal quickly. Not gonna be going back here

Used to eat here when I was younger with my family when the owners were different and loved it. Over the past several years when weve ordered the service and the food quality has decreased. Every time weve ordered ( about 4x) theyve gotten our order wrong including with pick up orders. Theyve refused to refund each time even when my husband had to drive back. Today I told the manager I wanted a refund before I even told her which order got messed up and she said sure, we can do that. When my husband got there the owner denied saying that to me. He knows this family personally and can attest to them being terrible. This is the last and final time we eat there, you lost a customer for good! I'd rather eat at Rosa's and that's sad! Yall have some work to do!

Now this place has great Mexican food. So good, the parking spaces are hard to find but the food ia so worth it. Pre warning though if you do not like smelling like fajitas do not go here. The steak, smoke, smell will take over. Just like that commercial where the person said they were home I'll but you can smell the food on him, it happens here.

Absolutely do not see what it is that keeps them open. Food is terrible, people are rude. atmosphere is blah and cold. DON'T GET IT !!!

Went on a Saturday night about 8pm.
We were seated and the waiter came over to take our order, but left before we could reply if we were ready to order...The place wasn't that busy.
Our order was taken, then we were served..food was pretty good. THEN, a roach showed up for his bite..It took a while to get the attention of a server, but a bus boy noticed and contacted the manager..Manager comes over like it happens all the time..this place needs to be permanently closed.
Never going back here..

Great Mexican food and good service at a price you can afford go visit them

Chips tasted crispy and fresh which is what I like, but the salsa not so much. Very humdrum. Taco was very good, but how can you mess up a taco? Enchiladas weren't bad but they also weren't that good. Wait staff very attentive which is a plus in my book. Went to this restaurant years ago (not close to my part of town) and liked it. Dont know what happened. Change of ownership perhaps?

I always loved and enjoyed the food here and it was my favorite restaurant. After temporarily moving to Arizona, and returning to the HEB area, we decided to visit Miguelito's. I dont know what happened but the food was horrible. The fajita nachos seem kinda dry and did not taste good at all. I think I could have got better nachos at TacoBell, and that's very sad. Its just not the same anymore. Very disappointing.....

The cheese enchiladas and rice were good but the chicken fajitas were very disappointing. They chicken tasted freezer burnt/old. Definitely not fresh. If you are going to serve old chicken don t sell it for $15.

Very friendly staff and amazing food! They are open inside during covid. Must wear masks inside but you can take them off while you eat.

The food is better than the outside looks. Average to pretty good TexMex. Good salsa. OK as a another place to eat to diversify your work lunch break

no sopapilla's? are you kidding me, just lost a customer. service was always iffy but the food is okay. apparently they need to get the owners out of the way and hire someone to manage the place and get a wait staff that wants to work. but how can you run out of sopapilla's.

Best mexican restaurant I have ever been to. First time visitor here at Miguelito's. Paulina is the best waitress in the world. Food was excellent. Paulina was able to cook up a dish for my 1 year old son that wasn't on the menu. Drinks were great. The best experience I've had in a long time. Made me feel at home and like family. Outside doesn't look like much but the inside has a great bar/lounge and dining area. Will be returning soon. Recommend if in the area and craving mexican food. Great fajitas

This is our "go-to" Mexican place. Consistently good, reasonably priced.

Yeah the food sucks. I got the chimichanga and chicken was so dry worst chimi I've ever had.

Really good Mexican food. The beef anchors are enough for two if you aren't too hungry.

The building is old and dingy covered up by murals all over the walls, I expected the food to be good since I looked at the reviews before I went but I was disappointed, the beens were old, too dry and the food was rushed out of the kitchen so fast like my plate was just thrown in microwave. When I got the bill even after the groupon it was so high! Basically these place still open thanks to the overpriced bad Mexican food and naive customers who keep returning since they don't have a clue about good Mexican food.

I love their beef fajitas, queso, and chips are great. :) I've been going for years.

First of many trips for me today. Really great food, service, and atmosphere. Will definitely be back and with some regularity.

I love this place. When I'm in DFW I always make time to stop in for karaoke with my daughter. The food and drinks are way above average. Grab a Shea Margarita!

Always a good choice for food, atmosphere and service.

Service was not good. Had to ask for our drinks and had to ask for napkins and silverware. Also had to ask for tea refills. No one would help us!!! Had to keep asking other waiters for our waitress. No bueno.

Underwhelming with all the dishes some shade of brown. Pretty bland. Second time there with Groupon. Would be highly disappointed if I paid full price.
