What can I say. I used to sell Miele household appliances myself in a specialist shop. I always said to the customers at that time if you want quality buy Miele. What I have now experienced as a customer in the Miele factory customer service makes me very doubtful about this old German quality brand. I will also never buy or recommend Miele again. It all started 2.5 years ago. We bought a new Miele oven. The reason was that the 20 year old Juno oven only baked on one side. After the new one was installed. We noticed that the new Miele also bakes very differently. We called the factory customer service. A fitter came by and found that the oven actually bakes differently. However, we have to accept 10%. There is nothing you can do. With this statement and that we should keep an eye on it, he left us at that time. With several acquaintances we then of course looked into the ovens and had to find out that none of them showed a different baking result. And all of them had cheap devices from hardware stores and Co. So I noticed that Miele costs more, and officially works worse than a hardware store device. (10% are normal according to Miele). We called customer service again. The result at the second al was just as disillusioned as the first time. Only that the fitter was extremely unfriendly and we received an invoice because the device is now out of warranty. Good service is deffenetively different. I'm just a small private customer who stupidly decided on a Miele appliance. Who has bought an oven that does not work 100% well and a terribly poor customer service for expensive money. For the next household appliance, I'll probably go to the hardware store. I know that the devices work 100%. If not it wasn't that expensive.

No answer to service requests via the website. We have a Miele oven whose displayed temperature differs by 20-30 degrees from the temperature measured with an oven thermometer. The coating on the baking sheet permanently binds fat. It is also not scratch-resistant. The old AEG oven did not have these problems. The baking sheet looks like new after 8 years. And all for half the price. But is no longer a spoiled German company.

The prices of the devices are located in the "premium segment". The product and above all the service quality are unfortunately far from "premium": slow, no response to emails, no recalls. Even after three repair attempts by the service technician, the problem could not be solved on the device!

Never again - according to Mr. D. M. all hoses and the rubber collar of the porthole must be exchanged - cost 521.00.
I have cleaned all hoses and the air trap - time required 45 min the machine is running again 1a.
The bill for 119.00 for unscrewing the machine is a joke and borders on fraud.

Our experiences with Miele factory service were very bad.
Unfortunately, we often needed the customer service for our two washing machines (so-called professional devices for the hotel sector) and have accordingly gained a lot of experience. The last customer service engineer, Mr. Rosen ***** did not work, this one was incompetent (has completely verhornackelt on the washing machine, the poor door lock and has even a screw of the front cover simply worn) and has the already angry customer still a cheeky mouth attached. The last defect was reported to the customer service on Sunday 11.08.19, today is Friday the 16.08.19, 12:00 clock and no one was there so far. Vacation time back and forth, but from a so-called premium manufacturer like Miele, we expect a better and more professional support. It just can not be that five full working days go by without anything happening. That's why we do not understand why the company division is called "Miele professional". Actually we wanted to give 0 stars, but unfortunately that is not possible.

Hands off Miele! When my vacuum cleaner broke after a year, Miele did not repair it under guarantee, but cheekily claimed that I vacuumed water with it. Refuse guarantee and think the customer is stupid.

Too bad that you can not award a star. It can not be worse. The unfriendly staff was only marginally noticed. Which is absolutely outrageous, 130 euros for 20 minutes presence. That corresponds to an hourly rate of 390 euros. Even if one considers for a travel allowance of (appropriate 25-- Euro), still remain 300 euro hourly wage. At one glance, the employee knew that the repair cost 500 .-- Euro. He also knew immediately that the washing machine was wrongly filled by us.

Quality has its price, that much is clear. We had a friendly, well-mannered technician. Put a pad on the table and then put your bag on it, or, in bad weather, put an overcoat for your shoes.
That paired with an idea of what he's doing and Miele goodwill.
Since we have quite a few Miele appliances and are also interested in the working conditions, it quickly became clear which supplier would be the one.
Of course it costs more, but greed is cool and no matter where it shouldn't be.
Respect those who produce in Germany and can hold their own against Samsung / Siemens / Bosch etc.

In all honesty, there is no better way to do it! Mr. Ahlers and his colleague were extremely punctual. Afterwards I received a call from him in which he explained exactly what was repaired on the device. Device works like on the first day.
We are guaranteed to use the service again and again!

The fitter himself was super nice ... that's why the 3 stars. But otherwise totally disappointed with Miele. 1 week for an appointment is very long and then the software for a 2 month old machine is broken and not available. The offer was made for 120 I would get a newer one. But I have already paid 150 for a guarantee extension even though the first one was half a year. My machine cost 1200 and you can expect that you won't get the money out of your pocket.

I am very disappointed with my (2 1/2 !!! year old) dishwasher, it cost around 1200, - , but after 2 1/2 years a component had to be replaced, which made me 250 Should cost, as the warranty is of course only two years.
For me it was the last Miele appliance. They tried to sell me appliance insurance, but I was of the opinion that the appliances should last longer than 2 1/2 years.
Unfortunately, Miele no longer stands for what it used to be.

My 4 month old dishwasher is defective with error code F70. Today I called the customer service - the next possible appointment is a week later on May 15th. The waiting time is unfortunately definitely too long, therefore only 3 stars. From a premium device, I expected A) more service and B) faster customer service.

Update from May 15, 2020: Fortunately, the dishwasher is running again, which is not thanks to Miele. I was called today - the technician is sick - you would have to make a new appointment. 2 weeks waiting time for a brand new premium device is definitely too much! I was then able to cancel the appointment.

Please dear Miele people: improve the aftersale service here!

Disastrous service, first bought a super expensive dishwasher, which then constantly jumps into failure and triggers an alarm in the middle of the night - very unpleasant!

Retrieved from Miele, as it was only 4 months old. First no appointment possible, then appointment 14 days in advance, it does not work earlier. That alone felt cheeky, today at 8 o'clock a message by SMS from the fitter, who announced his arrival in about 30 minutes
When the 30 minutes had passed and another hour, I was told, after a call from our side, that nobody had been there ... what a joke!

Hire a technician now and pay for it yourself - never Miele again!
