very rude and disrespectful right off the bat of me just answering the phone and confirming my identity. when trying to explain my situation of why I could not pay the full amount, she began yelling at me saying I was making excuses and I was not able to make some kind of payment plan because the woman was so disrespectful interrupting me when I tried to speak causing me to have to hang up because was not going to stop being rude for no reason. she was speaking in a bully type manner and is very manipulative. the woman insulted my intelligence in an attempt to humiliate me, any person working in customer service should have a better respect for the people they are serving and act more mature and competent.

Awful. "Connie Wilson" could not even give me a fax number. Not helpful at all.

So I was being polite and trying to get payments set up for a outstanding balance on a utility bill. So I was setting up everything and then she got to where she needs my phone number to leave me a message here and there. I just moved back from Alaska and don't have a Kansas number. She got mad and copped an attitude and goes "Well there is nothing I can do for you bye!" And hangs up on me. Your customer service is GARBAGE! You do not treat people with disrespect in a customer service line of work. Hope you look into better staff or things can escalate very quickly.

Had a bad accident and was left with a surgeon bill. Have to file bankruptcy because of the hospital bills, person on phone started guilt tripping me because I have to go bankrupt from this accident. Extremely rude, will be glad to no longer have to deal with these people.

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. They are extremely rude and condescending. Never in my life have I dealt with such cold, nasty people.

Was instantly rude and demeaning to my wife, and tries to shame you into instant payment instead of working with you. It's no wonder this place has only one star. If they want payment they can have fun filling out the paperwork. RUDE and DISGRACEFUL. I feel sorry for them.

If you're getting calls from them it's because you don't pay your bills. I'm part owner in a property management company and use these guys to collect on tenants with past balances. They do a great job and will take the collection matters to court and have paychecks garnished when needed. Been very happy with their results.

Typical shadow debt collectors; called to collect a debt that I had paid off months ago. Nice try, thieves.

Collection lady was rude and disrespectful. She talked over me and was antagonizing. She had horrible customer service. I wish I had her name so I could post it.

Horrible rep with terrible people skills. Woman that spoke to me was completely condescending and unreasonable and refused to listen to anything that wasn't a yes.

The Worst. A man named Jeff Davis called me and was asking for my mother, which lives in another state. I asked how he get my number and hung up on me. He called me twice and completely hung up and wouldn't respect my question. Very rude, and not answering any calls again.

Good luck is all I can say. They harrass spouses. They are very rude and will want full payment up front. Don't pay them deal directly with who you owe. And beware after it is paid in full they will still be harassing you. Rude, Rude, Rude is all I can say.

Extremely rude, unprofessional, short tempered staff who interrogate people about their personal life and harass family members who have nothing to do with the debt. Way out of line. Rate this company right up there next to fecal matter.

What a horrible place, and horrible customer service. Basically demanding I set up payments before contacting the other company that was handling my account.
They try to strong arm you, and if you stand your ground they get mad and rude.
What a great home life these people must have............

Adran was ok. We'll see. I have to get back with her Monday about a debt discharged in bankruptcy 8 yrs ago.

They refuse to follow Federal law by providing validation of the debt. Payments were made to the provider of services but the full amount was sent to these hicks. They REFUSED to correct their records and REFUSED to allow monthly payments to be made. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will file with the FTC and anyone else that I can find to file complaints with.

Not willing to talk about a payment plan. Rudest collection agency that I've ever talked to. They need to learn respect.

Very poor customer service I had some general credit questions so they transfer me to a credit manager he very rude and I can tell he hated his job. If your a customer service manager of any kind please learn how to talk to people.

OMFG! I just received a phone call from some woman from here, was a complete a** hole and told me to "pull out my check book, and pay my bills" then continued to ask why I can't pay, and asked where I work, that's none of your business you rude a**

Got a call from them yesterday. The individual was extremely rude! She pried into my personal life was extremely unprofessional, and only offered one solution to resolve the debt owed!

It's fantastic the manager doesn't even know what the fair credit collection act is super easy to get out of debt, although their incompetent staff makes it painful having to explain the laws that theyust abide by in order to collect a debt.

I literally just got off the phone with a lady who didn't even start off with this is an attempt to collect a debt any information obtained duirng this call will be used to do so until mid conversation she realised she didn't and said it out of know where. She was one of the most disrespectful, bullying, careless, and unkind individual I have ever spoken too. I'm honestly shocked I stayed on the phone so long. Not sure why I did! She was insulting my life my husband asking me who we where going to turn to to get the money. All after the fact we established they had our address wrong and she stated it had be returned to her, so she was aware we never got the bill. She then proceeded to say well you're responsible also and he knew he used the services a year ago. Also after me explaining that his place of employment had closed business after 23 years 3 of which he was there. We are in a tough spot ourselves and I'm working part time and my husband doing odd jobs. She then said he losses his job and you go part time why? Shouldn't it have been full time? Seriously wow.

Called me at 7:44 p.m. , which is waaay too late. It was for my husband's dental bill, which i was only listed as an emergency contact on in the office (dentist) . Lady proceeded to tell me I was responsible for his bill and I was making a decision for the household. I informed her I was entirely too poor to pay and this was his bill, not mine. I again informed them I am not the head of household. She continues to tell me over and over that she is noting I refused to pay, which I did not do. Lady did not even bother to ensure I was his wife. She didn't ask me my name.

The "supervisor" I spoke with today was one of the rudest human beings I've ever talked to. I was trying to resolve an issue and she continuously told me "we are going to have problems"....well, first off I was being extremely nice due to the fact I work in customer service and I know how people can be, yet she was hateful and refused my payment because it wasn't enough. Horrible customer service. If your job is dealing with people all day, maybe you should at least be good at it

Rude, and do not try to work with people! So I told them to shove it and take me to court cause I can't pay them money I don't have if they don't want to accept a payment plan. There should be laws set up to prevent these type of people from treating people the way they do as it is harassment! If we had the money to pay it all up front, the damn thing would have never went to collections in the first place!

They lie trying to get you to make a payment with threats of credit problems and it s all bs. Adrian and Connie thanks for taking a bad situation and attempting to make it worst.

They are discriminative toward people with disabilities. BULLIES

I returned the phone call on behalf of my client a disabled veteran and not only was the representative rude she mocked his disability. Asking"is he to disabled to speak?" when I told her he could not speak to her right now. I returned the phone call because he is now receiving calls from them at his job when he has never received calls at home, letters, or any indication he even owes them a debt. Not only that when I became short with her over her rude comment about his disabilities she hung up on me. Flat out hung up. What kind of company is this that will mock people with disabilities! Its not even my debt and I am so ashamed of your company I had to say something. Never have I ever spoken with anyone as rude or trashy as this place just acted. This is not a way to collect anything!

They are garbage making threats giving me 48 hours to pay what I own what kind of bs is this

I hired them to handle non paying clients at my accounting firm, I am happy with their overall service and not taking NO for an answer, happy to know if someone doesn't pay I won't be out the money after all who wants to work for free?

The rudest company I've ever worked with. I refuse to pay or even talk to someone who asks repeated questions about I have things going for me. They don't know anything about me. The woman's name is Adrian and I've never wished for someone to be yelled at by a crowd more than this woman. The overall hatred and animosity she had toward life in general is laughable. Not at all a company I would recommend and customer service was by far the worst I've ever dealt with. I was treated like a criminal and talked over repeatedly. Good Riddance to a company this horrible and trashy.

I just got an alert on my credit report saying I had a collections account added and I was NEVER informed that I had an account go to them for collections! I have no knowledge of this account at all and even if I had, they are supposed to send you paperwork stating your account was turned over collections. I never received anything!

It's unfortunate to get a collection item but Adrian was super sweet to talk to, had some good humor to counter mine, and importantly was able to settle.

Ann and Mickey are the worst! Both thought threats and being absolutely rude was the way to handle it WHEN I WAS TRYIN TO PAY!

If there was a minus 5 stars that is what it would be. Rep was rude, condescending, refused to set up a payment plan. Told me not to call back the next day to try to make an arrangement. Refused to give me a phone number to reach them after I asked for it 3 times due to the number coming up unknown. Responded with "The numbers on the bill. Don't you get your mail?" When I asked to speak to a manager, the manager responded with, "well she has a point mam."

So rude. I spoke to a manager and she told me that It was pathetic I hadn't paid yet. I got a grant from my native American tribe to pay for braces for my legs. She said that she noted on my account I refused to pay and then hung up on me. I called her right back and asked for her manager and she siad she was the manager... how unprofessional. She continued telling me how terrible of a person I was for not paying when this was a complete misunderstanding. My native American tribe has been trying for weeks to pay the bill, I mailed the papers, my doctor mailed the papers, and then I had to fax them. Guess they don't want the money that bad.

Extremely rude. I'm aware of my debt but my husband is currently on short term disability and I'm not able to work either. (and I've attempted to get disability as well but was denied because my illness isn't 'debilitating enough') they've called me almost every business day for probably three weeks now, wouldn't listen when I tried to explain that I don't have the money and then tried to contact my husband to get money from him! Shady shady shady

RUDE RUDE RUDE. All they do is threaten and manipulate trying to get payments even if you don't have them. I fell for this once started a payment plan. I am now not finically stable to be able to afford the payments. The rep basically stated that due to the fact I have income and i am now refusing to pay the payments she is going to move forward with garnishing my wages. I attempted several times to explain to her that my finical situation is not the same as when I set up payment plan. They refused to take anything less than 100 a month. When I agreed this was not an issue now I am in a position that it is not physically possible she said we will just continue to take it out of the account. I said no you won't hung up and called the bank. They are so rude and WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU. EVEN WHEN YOU ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO PAY BILL. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY IS JUST AS BAD. THEY SEEM TO THINK BELITTLING PEOPLE IS HOW TO GET MONEY! NOT FROM ME ANYMORE! I TRIED TO BE POLIETE ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS IT GOT ME NO WHERE. GOING TO BBB OVER THIS HARRASMENT!

Lynn, is rude and doesn t care about the customer. I told them I was willing to pay today or settle. Asked for employment information I asked why they need this couldn t tell me why.

Heidi was absolutely terrible. I told her that I was in a totally disabling wreck and that my family is living off of the settlement, and she still demanded that I pay the full balance or else.. I told her that as of right now, there was no way we could afford to. So she said she would recommend that this gets taken to couet.. she is a scummy, low life person.

The so called manager is a JOKE. I FEEL SORRY FOR HER FAMILY. I will be turning this over to the BBB. If I had all the money I would pay the bill. Adrian has the worst attitude I have ever seen. Midwest Service Bureau is terrible. They use bullying and manipulation to try to collect debts. They are also not above calling your family as an attempt to publicly humiliate and embarrass you to get you to pay in full.

Today they called my mother. They were trying to get her to give me a message. This immediately after they called my phone and I didn't answer because I was at work. They didn't leave me a voicemail either. I had spoken to them a couple weeks ago and they threatened to call my family members, which I expressly told them they did not have My consent to do. They have my address and phone number they know how to reach me. Debt collectors can only call family if they are attempting to locate the individual who owns the debt. They already know where I am and how to contact me directly.

Adrian was very condescending and flip flopped her answers to my questions several times when I called to address the issue. First she denied the company contacted my mother. When I said I had proof she fessed up and said they wouldn't contact my family again then later said they would do what they have to do to collect the debt because I'm being uncooperative. Then when I addressed the debt she said there is now not one but two bills I owe. One I do owe and plan to pay this week. The other I absolutely do not owe and refused to pay. I even said I would pay the one bill. But because I refused the other she was not interested. Only interested on collecting the "full" amount.

I saved up money and even borrowed money to get this bill resolved after I confirmed it was owed with the original service provider. It was billed as a separate service and I never received the bill so I had no idea I owed anything. While on the phone confirming that a few weeks ago the original service provider told me i didn't have a balance on my account with them. Only the bill for the separate service which is billed by a different office. The second bill Adrian claimed I owe is allegedly from the original service provider. I told her I had already spoke to them and I do not owe a bill with them I only owe the bill for the separate service and she threatened me with legal action, saying I had plenty of chances to pay my bill. But, yet she claims the second bill only came to them on Aug. 21?

Adrian also said she would get documentation that I owe the second bill. I said I'd get my own documentation and ibhsve receipts to prove my payments and she said I couldn't do that. I said that was not true. I have a right to get documentation of my bills myself no matter what collection agency they are with. She said she would end the call if I continued to be uncooperative and angry. I said if course I'm angry, your attempting to deny me my rights to my own financial information and you illegally contacted my family after I expressly told you not to during the last call. She said she personally didn't call my family and I said I didn't care who did her company called my family to expose my debt and attempt to embarrass me into paying, she works for that company so shes just as liable for that action against me.

She told me to get on topic and resolve the issue I said I would pay the first bill but not the second one that I do not owe. She insisted I owed it again and said I needed to pay the wmount for both bills in full and i refused anx said I would just contact the original company for the first bill and pay them directly. She said I could do that but they would still give the payment to Midwest Credit Bureau and said o didn't care what the oringal company does with the payment after I give it to them but since she (Adrian) is being uncooperative I'll take it up with the original company because I'm not paying a bill I don't owe in addition to the one I agreed to pay. She told me to so what I have to do. I said I would and said again I do not give consent for MidwestService Bureau to contact my family and she said she didn't need to have my permission. I argued yes, you do and you can only contact my family if you have not located me. It's the law.

Very rude hard to understand them yelling in the back ground

I dont even have a debt with these people, but when they called me looking for my girlfriend they where beyond rude. Then they asked me to pass on a phone number so that she could call them..When she called them they basically tried to bully her in making a full payment. ASking for her to cash out her 401k , use tax return money, or even go get a loan to pay off a debt that is literally 1 month past due. They are about as unprofessional as it gets..

These people are absolutely awful. The manager was an absolute tyrant who stringbarmed me into giving her my credit card information, but not after browbeating me and hanging up in me anytime I said something she didn't want to hear. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and I am trying to find out who their owner is to call them as well.
