Typical dealership, I'm sure they have their succe...

Typical dealership, I'm sure they have their success stories. As for my family, not so much. Trying to sell us a vehicle after running our credit score down by submitting it to over 12 financial institutions. My wife took a screen shot of their proposal & later showed it to ABC Nissan, who were appalled at the offer. ABC Nissan totally took very good care of us, listened, and accomplished what Midway could not. I am now a proud owner of a new 2016 Nissan Sentra SR.

along with the other person we came to an agreement with a salesman on a firm price we comfirmed 3 times. He said come to the dealer so we can close the deal, we had a set price at 25k then once we get there they throw out a price of 30k. We tell them we agreed on 25 so they make us sign a paper saying 25k they go back to their office then come back with a 28k offer. Just horrible they are not of their word. Give it to the customer straight dont try and sucker people in with lies be upfront. We want to give you our business but be honest dont lie about your pricing over the phone and give out a different price in person it only pisses the person off.

Never take your car to Dave s Car Care AZ. My car had a leak on the cooler outlet/hoses. Dave s charged me for a brand new outlet, two hoses, and labor. But he never replaced it. I kept on breaking down, and they kept on telling me it was something else that was causing the leak... and I paid. Fast forward over two thousand dollars... looking for the same leak, I break down... and towed to Midway Chevrolet, Edgar was my service man. He was great explaining that the cooler outlet was cracked and old. The two hoses were cracked and spraying coolant all over the place, because they are worn out. Once Midway fixed it, my car is running great. I called Dave to try to get my money back, but he argued with me... sent me a check for $59 and hung up on me!!!! He has signs that say integrity on his walls and out front!!!

I will never buy another car or ever use their service department again. My wife had a appointment for a oil change and tire repair. 3 hours later the oil change was done but not the tire repair. 3 dam hours. Worthless

No customer support and buyer beware of anything they say. Get everything on paper most especially service department. Liars. I don't want to give 1 star but not option for none. I had to threat with bbb to get the solicitation calls to stop. Didn't do anything they said they would. All a bunch of liars.

They stand by their product; the way a company should. I called in to the dealership because I got a flat and my trunk was empty. I left a unfavorable review because the person who spoke with me on the phone blew me off. Didn t ask my name, what kind of car I had, etc. come to find out my car didn t come from the manufacture with a spare. But I was immediately contacted by Midway and within 48 hours they had someone deliver a spare, jack, and tools to my house. And I live about an hour from the dealership.
Honestly, I would have given 5 stars if the guy who answered the phone had cared.
I appreciate that they went above and beyond. That s not common now and it s nice to know companies like Midway do care about the customer after they ve driven one of their cars off the lot.

Eddie Clayton was great and customer focused at a tremendously busy service department. I had a very difficult issue with my truck and if it weren't for his customer service my rating would be a lot different. The mechanic did a fine job on a unique problem with my truck.

Good place, just very busy.

I just bought a 2019 Equinox. You need to watch this place. The sales team inflated numbers and play many games. I hated dealing with them. Then followed up with the finance team that pushed extended warranties at you and lied about what was actually covered. I will never buy another vehicle from here and recommend that you don t either. I have bought eleven Chevys and this was the worst experience I ve ever had.

I know some people haven't had good experiences with Midway, but here is my review of them. I Needed a new car that was good on gas. This would be the first car I've purchased completely on my own too so it was a big deal lol. I Already had one car in mind and the salesman helped me select that one for a test drive. I also knew for a fact I didnt have stellar credit, so going in I was realistic about what kind of deal I would probably would be getting. They worked with me and It definitely worked out better than I thought it would. I got an amazing deal on a car that I love. I didnt feel rushed or pressured into something. They worked quickly, I was in and out with my new car in <4 hrs.

I bought my Chevy Equinox from Midway Chevrolet on Bell Road in Phoenix in January 2012, and starting around July 2012 the sales people at Midway Chevrolet have been harassing me to trade my car in, even though I have told them time and time again that I do not want to trade my car in, and to please stop calling me, I have even gone into Midway Chevrolet personally and told them to mark my file as do not call yet they continue to call me, the latest call being about 10 minutes ago when I was out for a walk. They call me when I am on fires, they call me when I am on vacation, anytime day or night they call, they call me at work even when I have asked them not to. So if you want to be continually hassled after you buy a new car then go to Midway Chevrolet. If and when I want to trade my car in, I will definitely not go to Midway Chevrolet. I certainly hope that this is not the way that all Chevrolet dealers treat their customers. I do not recommend purchasing a car at Midway Chevrolet unless you enjoy being continually hassled by sales people after you purchase your vehicle. I give them a negative 5 star rating

I don't have a lot of time to mess around with car repairs. Wife and I both work and in school with 3 kids in school. We were able to get my car in and out with no BS. Great service from people who listen to what we want and don't try to sell us on what we don't want or need.

I would strongly advise against doing business with the service department here. While I cannot speak to every employee of said department, I can speak to the very poor customer service of service advisor Andrew Crush.
I started hopeful with Midway Chevrolet when they got my Camaro a same day appointment as my call on a Saturday morning when my check engine light came on and Courtesy Chevrolet was not able to get me in that day. Now I m not so surprised Midway had openings...
Andrew assured me he would have the car checked that day and he would give me a call. 5 hours later I had not heard anything and I called to check in. It was clear they had not done more than open the hood and the trunk when they told me they could not do anything to the car because it had Nitrous and a tune. I assured them if they looked more closely at the nitrous bottle they would see it is not connected, nor had ever been used. Later the service manager called and told me they could not look at the car more until Monday because it has a tune and their non-accessory mechanics could not do anything with it.
I am here to know why my check engine, Stabilitrak, light came on. Can you give me literally any information other than telling me what I already know about my car?
I had to go out of town for the week and called Andrew daily to check on the progress. I never received a call back despite the receptionist assuring me Andrew will call you back as soon as he can. Wednesday Andrew texted me that my car would be towed to performance shop X for them to check the engine/tune and he would give me the contact information of the shop when it arrived. Thursday evening comes and I need to know where my car is. I called Midway Chevy to get this information, and was again assured Andrew would call me back. 30min till their closing I had heard nothing. I was transferred between 3 receptionists and my called eventually was merged with another disgruntled customer who had been on hold. Both of us were confused why our calls were merged rather than getting our service advisors . I called again and the receptionist had to go ask Andrew where my car is. I was then told it was at performance shop Y . Called performance shop Y and they do not have the car, nor have they been contacted about it at all.
Friday, I drove 2 hours in a rental I had for that week (that Midway did not offer, nor reimburse me for) from my job in Tuscon to find out where my car is. Dragon, the service manager did not appear to be tracking the location of my vehicle either when I arrived. I shared with him that Andrew had been very poor at communicating the location or any information about my car over the past week. Dragon and I went to Andrew to inquire the whereabouts of my car and Andrew said the lot key holder was supposed to tow the car there at some point. At some point?! I was told two days ago it was going there. They asked me to wait in the waiting room while they tracked down the car. Surprise, surprise, my car had never been taken to any performance shop for service. I requested my keys, saying I ll take it myself.
No apologizes offered. The positive I can say is they did not charge me for doing, well, nothing.
I took my car to a performance shop
10min away that scanned the computer same day and gave me information of all engine codes and possible causes, for free.
I will never take my car to a Chevrolet service dealer again. My car will now only go to locally owned businesses that demonstrate integrity and customer service is shown through their actions, not just mentioned by a voice recording while you re on hold for 20min.

Had my car in for service and the team and Midway got it fixed and returned to me in a very short time. Hugh was great at keeping me posted on the status of the car, as well as asking my permission before doing any work. Absolutely zero issues with Midway Chevrolet and I would definitely recommend them.

Nick was super professional was able to show me things on my car that Courtesy Chevy had failed to show me or even refused to look at. Sergio was fantastic also super professional keep me up to date on everything that was going on. Dan was also very nice. He was able to explain things that Courtesy Chevy had made super vague sounding. All of the guys I talk to actually listen to what I was saying and didn't treat me like I didn't know what I was talking about. I couldn't have been happier leaving there. They even had a nice play room for my son to sit in and watch Disney and play with toys. Honestly, the only thing I'm unhappy about is not getting my Chevy from Midway Chevy. I should have never gone to Courtesy Chevy. Midway Chevy is def the best car mechanic I have been to since I've been in Arizona.

Had an issue with the electrical system of my Pre-Owned Chevrolet Tahoe 2016 that I bought from Midway Chevrolet in June 2020. The car lost all power. Had to Jump the car to get it started. Took it to the Midway Chevy dealership next day for investigation. I have a Pre-owned Sliver Care Warranty Coverage from Midway.
Upon Investigation Midway told me the problem was with the Ground/Negative Battery Cable Terminal. It was showing very high resistance and the cable had to be replaced. They told me the estimate was approx. $330.00 and would not be covered by Silver Care Warranty. I had to pay the money out of pocket. The Silver Care does have electrical care coverage this fix should have been covered by the warranty. I am not happy with this. Will never buy a car or any kind of warranty from Midway Chevrolet. Battery Terminal Cable is part of the car charging system and is covered by the SIlver Care Coverage. I would like to get refund for my charges to be fair.

Called on a Silverado that was listed on their website for $25,600. We made an appointment to meet with a salesman the next day(Saturday). When we woke up the next morning, we went online to look at the truck and the price had been raised to $31,999. We ended up at Courtesy Chevrolet and had a great experience in buying a new truck. I'll never deal with Midway Chevrolet after reading their horrible reviews and having the experience I did. Mauhi is a liar

If you want the best deal this dealership is for you!! I just purchased my 3rd Chevy from Midway Chevy and it was the best car buying experience I have had in all my 74 years. The General Manager,Dave Foringer was referred to me because I was told "he can beat any other deal you have", and THAT HE DID!! I am so pleased with my brand new 2018 Red Chevy Malibu, and working with Dave and the amazing Sales Consultant, Alejandra Peralta, made this a very "painless" transaction! BTW LucyTucker in Finance,explained everything to me in detail, in a very professional manner and did not pressure me at all!!

Do not buy a GM car. They do not honor their warranties. (trying to make this review as least emotional as possible as we are devastated with a broken car) We bought a 2012 Chevy equinox which started experiencing engine problems and high oil consumption right around 80,000 miles. Soon after we started experiencing the problem we received a letter in the mail stating that if we had high oil consumption it was likely due to piston ring wear. GM stated in their letter that the piston rings would need to be replaced and the cost was covered by GM.
We performed the oil consumption test, which costed us money out of pocket, to find out that the Equinox was losing oil faster than normal and was most likely due to the piston ring problem. The dealership said GM would cover and to bring the vehicle in. We drop the car off at the dealership and were offered a rental. They didn t have the kind of vehicle we needed but we accepted it anyway because a vehicle is better than no vehicle.
GM states that they needed to order the parts and would be coming from Michigan and LA so would take a couple days to get there. The parts get here after a while and then all of a sudden we get a call from the Midway Chevrolet stating that the repair would not be covered due to engine sludge. They stated that the engine sludge was due to poor oil maintenance.
We looked up the most common causes of engine sludge (15 different websites) and oil maintenance was one of them but we also found that engine sludge can also be caused by worn piston rings, which is the exact reason for the letter GM sent. We told the dealership that we have our own oil maintenance records and had actually been getting all of our scheduled oil changes at the same dealership we bought the car at (we never missed one). The dealership then stated because the previous driver that didn t get regular oil changes. We asked them how they knew that the lack of oil maintenance originally created the problem and not the piston ring problem. They didn t have an answer for that.
They literally had the entire engine disassembled waiting for the parts from LA and Michigan and once they found out it wasn t covered, told us that they wouldn t put the new piston rings in, even though they are known to be bad. But, since they think it was lack of oil maintenance, they didn t put the rings in and said they were putting the engine back together.
We can t believe that GM would send us out on the road knowing we have bad piston rings. The bad piston rings were the whole reason for the letter. Why would you not repair something you know is a bad product? Regardless if there was engine sludge or not, GM should at least repair the piston rings as stated in their letter. We are still within the 7 years or 120,000 mile warranty and have plenty of time before it runs out. We will be posting this review everywhere we can find until this matter is resolved. Thank you for reading and hopefully you don t end up in the same situation as us.

*(2013) We purchased a 2013 GMC Sierra from Van GMC which is a sister store to Midway Chevrolet. They said the deal was approved and to enjoy the new pickup truck. 3 1/2 weeks later, we got a call from Van GMC and they stated "the deal was not approved and we need to bring the truck back". I asked why they said everything was good to go when it wasn't? After going around with these guys and finally giving up, I returned the truck and received my car/trade back. My car had over $1,800 in damage, a flat tire, an additional 1,700 miles and I noticed it had a terrible smell inside as well as someone's personal property (all within 3 weeks time!). They had sold it to someone before it was even out of my name or paid off. I called Vantyul group's legal department and advised them of the situation and that they had illegally sold my car without having the title in their name and a large amout of damage. I received a call the same day and they said to go get your new truck and everything is good.
*Oct 10 2014, I wanted a second vehicle and I thought let's try Midway Chevrolet, THE SO CALLED 5 STAR DEALERSHIP. I went in to look at cars while my truck was being serviced and decided to purchase a 2014 Chevy Cruze LTZ RS and I was offered the amount I wanted for my trade or so they made it seem. The price for the car was $18,500 and they would pay the first two payments. After waiting for them to get me to finance 2 hours later, the finance guy gave me completely different numbers than we talked about while making the deal. They shorted us $200 (I was told $6,700, but received $6,200 and the paperwork said $6,000) for the trade and the $18,500 was nearly $22,000 plus fees. Nothing was changed on the contract, since I had already signed. I waited two weeks and received the bill for my first payment due November 24th (mind you, I was told the first payment wasn't due until January 24th.) and I called Midway Chevrolet and spoke with Vince (who is disrespectful/rude/and lies to you) I spoke to this man on the phone over a dozen times trying to find out when myself or the finance company would get the first two payments and was told "I will look into it/ill call you back/etc". Well after so many times I drove up to Midway Chevrolet and I asked for Vince and was told by my original salesman, "well he is in a meeting". I asked how long will he be and I was told "a few minutes". So after a few minutes, the salesman came back and said "I spoke to Vince and he said you will have a check by the end of the day, he is waiting for the other person that signs the checks to get here". I said ok and left. My wife called at the end of the buisness day and spoke to Vince and asked if the check he said we would have at the end of the day was ready. Vince stated, "I made no promises". So we called Vantyul group's legal department and advised them what was going on and we wanted our first two payments and the difference for our trade. After going around and around with both the legal department and Midway Chevrolet, we received our first two payments and difference for our trade, a month and a week after originally making the deal. I have had this car for over a month and it has been in the service center twice for broken items. The second time, which was the 14th of November, it had an oil leak and it is still in the shop now on the 18th of November, with no phone calls, after leaving messages for the service department, multiple times.

I will never let a family member, friend, coworker, ETC purchase anything from a Vantyul group dealership nor would I suggest anyone purchase anything from them.

They lose/misfile paperwork multiple times. Took multiple weeks in order to get a refund from them for an oil change after having to take several 40min trips to them. They tell you one thing over the phone an when you arrive they act like they dont remember talking to you. Can never get in contact with service adviser once they start work on vehicle took nearly two hours to reach last one after multiple call. Sometimes have to call multiple times to set up appointments because they are not put in the system. While my car was in the shop I received a phone call from the sales department where they tried to get me to trade in my vehicle as an alternative to getting it repaired. They call to buy back multiple times a week despite me telling them to put me on their do not call list.

We highly recommend this guy, he worked hard and made sure he got what he could as far as numbers for your loan. If youre not going to Midway, your doing it all wrong! Thanks Roman!

worst service ever. tried to get warranty work done, they wouldn't do it because it took "too much of their unpaid time" to diagnose. so the old service manager said if you don't like it go somewhere else. shady sales staff, and stupid things on all their cars like cheap pinstriped that cost you hundreds of dollars.

I want to thank their Service Department and primarily Tom Kaskas. They were courteous and extremely helpful. When I found out that my vehicle part was done somewhere else and needed to be repaired at a different repair shop. His team not only helped me load my car for towing but also didn't charge for the diagnostic. Thanks so much, great staff.
