Had two cables snap on my door. Dan answered his phone at noon and had the problem solved by 5 pm the same day. Great service. I'll call them when I need new doors and for any other service on my existing doors.

Dan & Leisha are running a fair and upstanding business. They are aware of ways to save money on a job and, rather than take advantage of a business owner and make more money, they are happy to share cost saving options. They are HIGHLY communicative and keep you posted when they are leaving the shop and always provide an E.T.A.

I was able to schedule a garage door replacement within two weeks of my initial call. The quote for the replacement was reasonable. The person that did the installation, Jose, was wonderful; he was friendly, knowledgeable and assisted us with moving items out of the garage, as well as assisting with moving items back into the garage. Jose completed the job within the time frame he stated. The new door looks fabulous!

Jorge was great. Have used Midtown before. They are always honest and upfront. Not trying to upsell in anyway. And they are extremely reasonable and prompt. Will be a repeat customer for sure.

Met with Dan, the owner of the company, for a estimate. He is a very pleasant person, and totally knowledgeable about his business. The estimate was very reasonable, and all inclusive. He also offered a discount for cash payments.
The installer, Jose, was very prompt and finished the job within the time estimate given.

This company is great.My garage door opener quit working. They were able to schedule me the same day to install a new opener. Their technician Jose was very polite and friendly throughout the installation.He explained each step of the process and how to program the keypad.He cleaned up after himself as well.Im very satisfied with my experience. Dan was a very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly young man. He troubleshooted my garage door opener and advised me to get a new one instead of fixing my 18 yr old Genie opener, as the cost to repair was almost as much as a new one. Jorge came the very next morning and installed my new LiftMaster opener and I am very pleased with the job and cost. I really like it when a service person shows up when they say that they will show up. I was given a 30 MINUTE window for the arrival time. Usually it s two or even four HOURS. Dan showed up at minute 14 of the 30 minute window. He immediately got to work replacing the two torsion springs on my garage door. He was completely finished and gone in 45 minutes. He was courteous, polite, and genuinely warm.

That would have made it a great service call, but on top of all that their price was considerably better than the other guys.

On time, quick, courteous, competent, and a good price? Not often that you get all five of those things at the same time. I will definitely be calling Midtown Doors from now on.

Begin edit here: Since my original post I have had FOUR garage door openers installed by Midtown. These were all new installations at a 4plex that I own. Unfortunately, since the garages were originally built about 70 years ago the building has had a bit of sagging over the passage of time. That meant that none of the openings were completely square and plumb. It also did not help that the new doors were NOT correctly installed by different company a few years ago.

Dan and Jorge corrected the improper installations. On a couple of the doors this required some rather extensive structural repair. They did a great job on the corrections and got all of the units installed in record time. They all look great and work even better. Once again they also beat out their competition on the prices too.

Just as I said before, I will definitely be calling Midtown Doors & Services in the future. This is a great company owned and operated by good people.

Great service from this company. Both when I got my new doors and when I messed up the code trying to reset it myself. Called yesterday and Jose was here today to fix it.

Great crew of hard work, honest, genuine people. Dan personally came all the way out to Missouri Valley to give us a reasonable quote. Jose installed our garage door within a couple of hours, flawlessly, and was very polite and considerate of my sleeping newborn. Just a good, home town feel with this company. Wow! I set up the service request at 8:22 a.m. and the technician was on his way at 9:17 a.m. When he arrived, he quickly figured out what was wrong with our door and fixed it for a reasonable price. The service call was finished by 9:47 a.m. and my garage door was working properly. So impressed with the professionalism and speed of this company!

I called and they came out the very next day. I loved the text updates letting me know who was coming and when. Sergio was great and I will be using them for future garage door maintenance.

Worked with Dan to get the right doors for my place. I was a little indecisive in the door color and window type, and Midtown was very patient. I finally committed, and the doors were installed, as agreed to, about 2 weeks later (today). I received a text the morning of the install, with a note from Midtown indicating Jose would be on his way soon, which included his picture. Jose showed up on time and ready to get to work. He asked the right questions, explained how the install would go, and how long the job would take. Jose was very professional and extremely competent. The (2) doors were installed with no issues about 3 hours later. I am very happy with the product, the profession service provided by the entire Midtown team, and the end result. If I EVER need another door or door service, I ll be calling Midtown Doors!

He called to say he could be there an hour early which worked for me. He finished the torsion spring replacement quickly. He gave advice on maintenance to reduce the risk of breakage. Good job!

My garage door suddenly did not open, after doing a little research on the internet I came across Midtown Doors and Services. Called and spoke with Dan who came out the next day and corrected the problem at a very reasonable price. My door was functioning fine until that evening when it just would not open found out the tension spring had broken. Called Dan again and again he came out the next day. I like the fact that he explained everything and told me exactly what he would be doing and what the price would be. Today was the third time that Midtown Door has worked on my garage door and as usual I was completely satisfied. I was Jorge's last call of the day and he found himself with a difficult problem. He worked well past his normal working hours. He was polite and very professional and in the end my garage door has never worked quieter. I will never use anyone other than Midtown even if I have to wait longer for the service call.

Their schedule was full and still found a way to fit me in that day. Did a great job installing torsion springs and even did a safety check and lubed the other torsion spring free of charge. I shopped around and they had the best price by far. Highly recommended.

Excellent service. We had a dent in the bottom panel of our door. We requested a quote and they were very quick to respond. The quote was quite reasonable. We were able to get it fixed the next week. They were on time and finished in 30 minutes! Very professional and friendly. The price was exactly what was quoted. I would recommend them to anyone!

Dan is amazing! Our house was broken into on February 2, 2018 at noon in broad daylight. They gained access to the house by driving into the garage door. Needless to say, they caused significant damage to the door where it would no longer open or close. I called the original installer of the door that has done all the repairs since installation and asked them to send some one out ASAP as the house could not be secured. They told me that they could not get anyone dispatched until after hours and there would be a after hours service call. I called another service and they told me they couldn't get anyone dispatched til the next day.

I then called Midtown, who I had never done business with before and spoke to Dan. When I explained the situation to Dan he said that he would soon be en route to another job and that he would stop by my house on the way. He said he probably would not be able to fix it, but he should be able to at least secure it. I told him that was great and gave him my address. He showed up 1/2 hour later. After looking at the door, he said he had parts available on his truck and that he would not only be able to secure it, but that he would also be able to repair it to state where it would fully function until we could get it replaced. He expeditiously repaired it, charged me an extreme;y fair price and gave me a bid for a new door. I will definitely use Midtown for the new door. I can't thank Dan enough.

Incredibly fast and great work. Identified that what I had was the wrong springs, which is why snapped prematurely. Installed the correct springs for the door. Left the site clean and reviewed all the work done and the price matched the estimate. Will look to these guys when I need a new door too. Job completed today- springs replacements.

I needed my garage door up higher closer to the ceiling to fit a taller vehicles in the garage. Another large garage door company thought they could raise it up 1" which wouldn't have been enough. Midtown Doors were right on the money before and after doing the work for a total of 3" higher!
