High energy pub. Super nice wait staff. Great area for a walk after or before the excellent beer they brew. Only had appetizers, but they were tasty. Next visit hopefully will be for a lunch or dinner. Nice place, and historic Illinois brewery. Quite a drive if you hail from the city, but in my nomadic opinion, well worth the visit.
Horrible!! I used to love this place, even at it's old location but it's gone down hill. Our server seemed irritated to wait on us, didn't introduce herself or tell us about any specials going on. She never up sold us on anything. The young girl with glasses brought us our food also seemed irritated and ran off in a huffy when I asked for a box. The food was soooo salty! The drinks were just ok and we had to chase down Alli for condiments and another round. She seemed to be more concerned about her phone than the customer. As someone who's been in the hospitality industry for many, many years I normally never, ever leave less than a 20% but the service wasn't there. We will not be returning anytime soon. Mickey Finn's you used to be better.
Happy Holidays! Glad to be able to still enjoy Mickey Finn's great beer at home with Clark, during these odd times! Hope to be able to get back there for dinning and enjoy their great food too.

Great beer! The food was good also. Had a lot of different beers to choose from.
Great brewery. Good beer, lovely atmosphere, lots of table space. My wife and I went for date night and live music was playing cover songs starting at 9pm. We didn't eat too much food but what appetizer we tried was ok. As a husband I like that the mens restroom has a changing station. My only critique is that I had to use my phone to read my menue and the server was serving lots of tables making it a longer to get the check.

We went twice, both on a Saturday in late afternoon. Pretty empty which was nice. Sat at the bar. Before sitting down, the bartender wiped down the counter for us. Staff wears masks. It s pretty clean. Drinks are good and their own beer is delicious. Haven t tried all the beers but will be back for more. Their pizza is really good.
Terrible service. More like no service, actually. After she took our order, our waitress couldn t be bothered with us at all and we never saw her again until it was time to get the check. She spent most of her time talking or playing on her phone at the bar. It wasn t like it was busy (there was maybe 3 other tables seated at the time).
I ordered the fish and chips with a couple glasses of pinot noir. The fish was light and crispy. I asked for malt vinegar and the waitress happily provided it. Nice lunch.
