Wow! Where do I begin ? We came here to try the miami spice menu and you ll know the moment you walk in why everyone raves about this place. The customer service was way beyond my expectations from the moment we were greeted and the food was absolutely delicious! We also got complimentary wine to taste to top it off! Loved it

Bourbon Steak executes everything you'd expect it to on all levels. From the second you're greeted by friendly faces, to the bussers, servers, roaming managers (who truly care), and everything in between, Bourbon Steak is the best. Craig and Giuseppe are an excellent duo of management that ensure the best possible experience. Try the Foie Gras appetizer, Mac n Cheese, brussel sprouts, Pork Belly, Filet, wine recommendations and more! Can't wait to go back.

Amazing! We went there for our anniversary and they even had a card with a beautiful message for us signed by all the employees. The food and the service are outstanding. The place is beautiful by itself. Very elegant! I love it! Thank you, for our very special night!

It s a shame really. I had been to Bourbon Steak before and it was one of the nicest swankiest restaurants. Tonight I wanted to take my cousin out for her birthday, along with my partner and my mom. We were greeted nicely upon arrival and we were seated in a secluded booth. This is when I started to notice things were different.

The music was way too loud. One can let that go if it s good music. This wasn t. It was loud, cacophonous and obnoxious. For some reason they had a TV hung on the wall in the dining room with a basketball game on. In came a family of 8 who proceeded to be more loud and obnoxious than the music. They shouted and screamed at the the basketball players, as if they were at Hooters or in their trailer home.

We requested the server to please ask that they pipe down because their shouting was really ruining our experience. The manager came back saying that it was tough to control people while watching sports. Which begs the question, sports, in a high-end restaurant that sells foie gras, along with $3500 bottle of wine in the cellar? No.

The family kept on being loud, and I mean really loud, other tables kept shushing them. They kept on.

We ate our dinner, which was delicious, but in the end asked the server to remove the obligatory 18% gratuity. While the service was just OK, I m clear it s not the servers fault, but I was making a point. The manager came back and removed the amount of the gratuity off the main bill, while leaving the gratuity on, with which I was OK.

The reason I m blaming the restaurant for my poor experience, and not that disgusting family, is because they misread the room (or their own clientele) when they decided to install a TV in the dining room. What is this Flannigans? Big mistake, HUGE. Never again.

Go at your own peril.

They consistently knock it out of the park at Bourbon. The bar is staffed by helpful and knowledgeable bartenders who are always to educate the customer on new spirits. The floor and wait staff are in total sync with the kitchen and the customer. A true dining experience awaits all that visit.

Cordially greeted upon driving up to the valet area and happily welcomed by the hostess at the entrance, my first experience started on the right foot from the get go. Minutes later, I found myself sitting in a posh booth inside their magnificent dining room ready for an early dinner. As much as the restaurant exuded grandeur and luxury, the accompanying service remained warm, accommodating, and professional. Everything about Bourbon Steak impressed me that night. Since then, I've returned often.

This Michael Mina restaurant concept first arrived at the Turnberry Isle Miami in 2007. Almost a decade later, quietly and steadily, our Bourbon Steak continues to cement their spot in South Florida's culinary history. Executive chef Gabriel Fenton victoriously leads the kitchen. When he's not executing Mina's staple dishes, he's meticulously and proudly adding new dishes, using as many fresh and seasonal ingredients as possible.

Bourbon Steak's dedication to excellence sets them apart from the rest. Besides the obvious commitment to the food served, the overall experience for the guest must be as close to perfect as humanly possible and it's something they take very seriously. Don't be surprised to find the staff kept a close eye the first time you dined, took notes of your preferences, and implemented details that fine-tuned a second visit. When I once voiced my dislike for broccoli in my truffle mac & cheese, I never saw it again in my future orders. After wondering aloud just why I'd never been offered the first taste of a newly opened bottle of wine (an honor that always went to my husband), it never happened again. Ever. Whether for parties of two, twelve, or more, a dizzying amount of staff glides around refilling glasses, picking up tables, and refolding napkins. Wine is decanted masterfully nearby and refilled promptly. I can't help but always notice and admire the graceful and arduous work it takes to serve everyone as skillfully as the Bourbon team does. Kudos to everyone involved, impeccable hospitality at work!

The entire staff works nonstop to showcase Bourbon at its best regardless of seasons. One of the best times to visit is during Miami Spice. While other restaurants get by with just offering mediocre options (seriously folks, get it together!), chef Fenton and crew create a couple of menus just for those two months. But honestly, special events or not, anytime is a good time to visit Bourbon Steak.

In a city so preoccupied with the latest trends, looks, and never enough attention to customer service, it's nice to know a magical place such as Bourbon Steak exists: a modern steakhouse with classic roots, skills, and great panache.

Cheers to another 10 years and beyond!

Beautiful experience with Don, he was not only attentive but was humorous and personable. We had the steak tartare and tuna tartare to start, paired with champagne. For dinner we had a steak and the off menu wild mushrooms. Everything was cooked to perfection paired with Don's suggestion of red wine. We will be back.

Unfortunately, what you can not take is the terrible service. I went with 7 guests of mine thinking it would be a great experience. I failed, and I'm very sorry for my guests. What an horrible experience. .

We had been to restaurant a year ago but recently had dinner on Mother's Day. Appetizers and steaks were good quality and we were not rushed. Service is excellent. Dinning room was warm and welcoming, as the room filled.

The valet service is good except for the odd guy who goes out with bad service and scolding something that I don't understand. A luxurious and well decorated restaurant awaits you in a very beautiful and first class hotel. The attention is highlighted the first dishes with special flavors. The waiter has a small detail that is asked not to put some species or vegetable but ignores the indicated. In the main dishes there is the black roast which is very prominent and well made and the tuna is not of a unique flavor but the sauce that if it gives a great touch finally the dessert is good but it is not something of the other world. I repeat again you have to make reservations the prices are not solidary at all. I highly recommend it

My husband surprised me for our 9 year wedding anniversary and chose this restaurant! I am speechless. Great food, great service. Our waitress, Natasha and her team was attentive and very kind. They provided great service and all with a smile. I loved it!!!!

Not what I was expecting at all. I ate the Corn Chowder appetizer, the NY Strip which was no different than I had last week at another famous guys restaurant and the Mushrooms were mushy and tasted like stale wine. That s all I had, no alcohol just water, and $118.00 later for 1 person, and they only 1/2 paid for my mandatory valet. Not impressed.

We were staying at the Marriott and decided to go here for dinner since it's on site. Defitenly overrated and overpriced. The atmosphere is nice, yes. The food is mediocre. My husband ordered the dry aged steak and it was nothing special. My scallops were meh, I've had better at Wynwood. My son's burger was meh. $300 or so later and we should've just gone elsewhere. Won't be returning.

I dined alone at the bar. Service was remarkably poor. So poor in fact that I'm taking the time to post about it.

I'll assume that the reason is the mandatory 18% gratuity included in the bill. If the bartender can ignore you and still get a guaranteed 18% tip why should they bother with the hassle of attentive service or a pleasant demeanor? And, at a place that charges $10 for a baked potato an 18% tip can be considerable (and undeserved).

Remarkably excellent meal. Outstanding service. Beautiful room. Definitely have truffle mac n cheese among your sides; keep in mind the excellent non-steak choices for mains (braised shortrib and salmon were each perfection; lobster pot pie is a Mina signature dish); for sure have dessert. Not cheap.

Bourbon steak is one of the nicest most spectacular steakhouses in South Florida they accommodate everybody even me as a vegan they have a special vegan dish that is not in the menu you have to ask for the french fries without the duck fat for them to be vegan extremely knowledgeable staff and super fresh ingredients

I am a steak lover and I'm so glad I found this gem of a restaurant. The food and service are definitely worthy of a 5 star review. Also, the ambiance was great. The fries are paired with different sauces and they are just All so delicious! I am definitely going back.

was quite disappointed for this highly anticipated steakhouse. yes the fries were good, but the slow and plodding pace of food service (2 hours+), along with occasional disappearance of our main server made the meal not enjoyable. the steaks weren't a level above places I've been, especially given the $$. i think most people go for the bar and the scene.

might try it again, but not going to jump at the chance to pay a large bill for a do-over.

So. This place isn t terrible but isn t great either.

Pros:

1. Delicious caesar salad.
2. Delicious desserts
3. Welcoming, charming service.

Cons:

1. Flavorless Tomahawk steak.
2. Bad tasting chicken
3. I was given a complimentary dessert but not one of my choice. The restaurant chose the cheesecake without asking if I have any allergies. I am allergic to strawberries, and the cheesecake is topped with strawberries.

Overall I left slightly disappointed in the fact that I paid $400 for average tasting food.

I tried a sandwich on the Miami Open stand last March and I said to myself I need to go to the actual restaurant. I took my staff there to celebrate an achievement last month and we were all impressed by everything in this place. The different fries at arrival, the wine selection, the steak, everything was great ! It s a little on the expensive side but worth every $$

This is not another Steak House with the dark light and wooden smell. Chef Michael Mina hit a homerun by bringing to SoFlo espectacular dishes, exquisite ambiance that adds to you experience a modern-retro feel and a service level difficult to beat.

The food is fantastic. Steaks are possibly the best I've ever had in South Florida and the dessert chef does a fantastic job in drawing a smile on your face. You will be devouring the fat duck fries that comes to your table when you sit and wait for the main dish. The extensive wine list will entertain you for a while, so make friends with the sommelier or with Seth, the captain, which will point you to the right direction.

If you are up for burgers, Bourbon excels. They have a separate Burger bar that will please every palate, I swear. There are many great burger choices in Miami nowadays, but these are on my top of mind every time. I promise it's not because I live 10 min from here.

We visited Bourbon Steak recently, which was recommended by our Granddaughter and her husband. Food, ambiance, and service were excellent. Steaks were tender, flavorful and cooked as ordered. Sides were also excellent. Very good selection of whiskey and wine. I would consider it a bit pricey, but maybe not for South Florida. Highly recommended overall.

Excellent ambiance, food, service, and shout out to Donnie our waiter!!! Thank you for helping my husband make my birthday so special!!! Definitely worth eating here and food to die for!!!

This is my second time dining here and once again we had excellent service and food. They start you with an assortment of freshly made french fries: Rosemary, Onion, and Paprika flavors. They are accompanied with three different sauces. We also requested the made to order truffle potato bread that is served in a warm skillet. Both are complimentary.

The dining rooms is dimly lit and provides a beautiful atmosphere. The dining room gets loud.

This time I ordered off the Miami Spice Menu. I started with the burratta with peaches. It was a good mix of flavors. The chicken was pan fried and served over faro and a mix of ingredients that provided a great flavor.

The smores dessert was beautifully presented and had a great mix of flavors too.

When the bill came they brought a plate with small chocolate desserts. They were rich and delicious.

The service was amazing. We always had our drinks refilled and plates cleared without asking and without interruption.

There is a large bar and lounge area. There is no outdoor dining.

The table was cleaned between courses. The valet is validated at the host podium and cost $8. Overall, it was a great experience and we were not treated any differently when we ordered off the Miami Spice Menu!
