MGM Resorts International (Gold Strike Casino Resort/ Beau Rivage) Review

My self and a friend went to eat the buffet on Sunday the 16th of Feb. The food was sub-par at best, the breakfast items were almost all undercooked and or cold.

The price was 25$ a person, and honestly I could have gotten more food for less and way better flavor at waffles house!

We also then went to play the slots and ordered a few drinks that never came even though we waited 35 minutes.

Honestly the overall experience was just not what you would think for a place that is rated so well.

Excellent hotel to stay. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The service is exceptional. They've got lots of choices in the casino for gaming. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and are great restaurants in the area.

My first time there but I will return. First class all the way! Fin and exciting!

This is the absolute best place in Biloxi! So many great places to eat! Place for the kids. Arcade has great gifts for ticket redemption. Everyone's so nice too! Amazing place to visit!

Nice place to burn some money and time. They have great shows and offer many different things besides gambling.

The hotel staff is wonderful!!! Housekeeping was prompt and courteous...I enjoy making them laugh. The hotel made reasonable accommodations for my mother's disability. The Buffet food selection is to die for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. They offer a takeout plate of you want to eat in your room. They have Asian, Italian, Southern, American cuisine...suitable to all palates!!! The Pool, Spa and fitness areas are excellent and they have many options like the poolsode bar!!! The casino has an array of table games and slots for every price point. You can Uber or Lyft from the airport for about $36 dollars and they have nearby museums, golf course and fishing expeditions! Come on down, you will definitely enjoy your stay at Beau Rivage...I know I Did!!!

Service is slow but machines are hot. Parking isn't bad. Rooms are very nice!

We only went for the seafood buffet; it wss great! They have excellent dungeness crab legs! The smell of smoke was quite strong, which was not desirable since we had young children with us at the buffet.

Nicely decorated with friendly, helpful staff. Casino floor on the way to venues is unpleasantly smoky. Might benefit from smoking/no smoking areas.

This place is so amazingly beautiful!! Great payout, I love the selection of slots they have. I like how fast you can build of comps for food and points for Free play.

No other casino on earth, comes close to their customer service. Everything about the Beau Rivage is 5 stars. They do everything right and really take care of their players. It's a beautiful resort with every thing you need. The views are gorgeous and the food is incredible. Best casino/ resort on the gulf coast hands down. And if you're a poker player, you will be blown away by how great you'll be treated and how well taken care of you are. Henry Garrison and his staff run a top notch room. The best in the country hands down.

We went to the cafe for a birthday lunch, and it was wonderful. The food was wonderful and fresh. If you go, definitely try the gumbo.

Beautiful resort, excellent service. Your guaranteed to have a good time.

This has to be the best of the best casinos around the area! It's #1 in our book! Better variety of slots And tables!

The Christmas decorations are wonderful and the Santa looks very Authentic. I didn't do much else to comment on other amenities, the parking garage was nice and free.

Best looking hotel in the area. Took one star off because the food wasn't as good as other places.

It was very nice and classy. There was app a lot to do in both the casino and resort.

Classy place but didn't have that many tables open when I was there and had high minimum limits $25 on tables.

Beau Rivage is the most luxurious casino on the Gulf Coast. The holiday decorations are second to none. The Buffet has the largest selection of any casino in the area.

Have not been in a while but it was just as beautiful. Very helpful employees. Had a great time.

The buffet was amazing, the only downside was the cigarette smoke.

I just go for the concerts. The theater is very nice and comfortable.

I have never been so relaxed & comfortable. The view from the room is to die for & the food is exceptional in all the restaurants. Thanksgiving Day was a bit over the top though with the 3 deep lines all day at the buffet. The casino is probably one of the tightest I've ever played in. There were no bells going off anywhere for 4 nights. The machines are bright & fun to play though just dont look to win.

I really like this place and it's classy the people are nice there they try to help you if you need help they got a place where you can make your own cards you don't have to stand in line would love to go back there again

Well, manager for the night we arrived was very generous to us. When we arrived after I called around 5 that we would be comming in between 9 and 10 at night yo make sure they held our rooms. We got there guess what the rooms had been cancelled. Manager told us not to worry she would make it right and gave us 2 suites. Loved it just wished we would have stayed longer. Thank you so much....

The buffet is good. The desserts are amazing. The staff was really nice. The only negative was some of the food was stocked too slowly.

Watched Circovia, swam at the pool, and had dinner Jia. all was wonderful, employees were very nice and accomendating. would go back

Employees are friendly and helpful. Decorated beautifully as always for whatever holiday is coming up.

Beautiful, but not paying. Lost 400.00 way too fast.

I had a good time. Kind of hard to figure out how to use the free gambling money they gave us but we did eventually. Dinner at the Coast was really good.

The staff is great from the hotel to the casino. I will be going back.

Beau Rivage is Beautiful!! Staff was Super nice, friendly, helpful and was very quick to provide anything my mother needed!! The ushers in the theatre, well I wanted to hug them for their thoughtfulness, kindness and professionalism...Given the opportunity I would gladly return!! Thank you to All the he staff!! You truly helped my mom to have the best experience possible!! :-) :-)

Beautiful Casino Resort with courteous Staff, spacious floors, and shopping venues and restaurants. I also got a big win $$$ .

First trip to this resort and it was excellent..the staff friendly and helpful.the tour operator was spot on.would for sure visit again.Great stay

My best friend and I had lunch there. It was beautifully decorated. We had soup and a corn beef sandwich. It was very tasty and very much enjoyed. We only encountered one small detail that we being in the public sector of the business world, found a little annoying. The waiter was far from being friendly and personable. My friend and I noticed he seemed to be very friendly with others he was serving. Being in customer service ourselves, we try very hard not to be demanding and to be pleasant. So we were a little taken back by the behavior and sorry to say, begrudgingly, gave the 20 percent tip. He started being a lot friendlier, when it came time to paying the bill. He did make sure everything was well at our table. Our glasses were kept full, so he did his job very well, but just without a smile. Sometimes that is just how things work out, so we were grateful for the good food and the full glasses.

Excellent service with nice room accommodations. The steak restaurant inside the casino is a must. Hotel also has higher end shopping.

Went to see Jack Hanna show. Absolutely wonderful. So glad I went. There are good shows there.

Went and had dinner ate the buffet then watched the show Allure. The whole this was a great experience and my 5 year old loved the show.

A great place to stay and play. And s great place to eat! We lucked out the Blue Angels were flying that weekend! Amazing

Carpet and interior is getting dated. The steakhouse restaurant was not anything up to the standards of Vic & Anthony's at Lake Charles Golden Nugget except the same prices! Charged a high price for a meal that would have been better at Ruth Chris steakhouse in my humble opinion.

After 10 minutes and $85 on the slot I finally got a bonus that pays $2.34 on $1.60 bet. I'm cashing what left of my hundred moving on next door to HardRock. I gave 2 stars because it is a nice casino.

I have mixed feeling on this place. I stayed in the hotel 3 yeas ago and it was great! This time I came back to play poker again. The staff in the poker room told me that I had a seat and it was OK to go to the ATM, when I came back the hostess gave my seat away.

We went to eat buffet and have pictures taken with Santa. We always make a point to go there during Christmas. Hands down the best decorations

Definitely better than the Hard Rock. If you're deciding between the two, trust me on this.

This place has a very good buffet if you can stand to wait for a while. For a smoking casino it doesn't smell to bad. Security is kind of rude. I noticed if you don't look wealthy they will check your ID many times. All in all the best casino in Biloxi.

No microwave in the rooms and remember to have your room key on you at ALL times. Various eateries. Live music. Entertaining night club with special guests weekly. Great staff. Family friendly.

Clean, Fun, could use a few more FRIENDLY workers on the casino floor. Had to find a waitress to get a refreshing drink but when I did get it, it was delicious. A great place to kill time

Ladies night.... Was nice.... We were late arrivals.... Dance music could have been better variety. Vs. Tied to one and only one genre.

Christmas is beautifully decorated; rooms are a delight.

I have always loved this place. Small changes have been made and the newer machines are always crowded.

This is a beautiful place if you don't have allergies. Lots of flowers, colors and very Lively.

The steak at the terrace are the best I've ate in along time good job to the kitchen

Great room with an excellent staff. Great choice of slot machines and table games, dealers are very friendly. Buffet was great and had a nice selection for the money.

The staff was both professional and courteous and who doesn t love the buffet. My relatives and I visited this casino a few times to find the environment pleasant.

Pretty nice hotel. It was my first time here but it seemed to be more of a family environment. A lot of kids at the pool and kids in the hallways at night. I was here to support my fiance during his poker tournament and we had a good time. I just was hoping for more of a younger demographic.

My family has been coming to the Beau Rivage since it opened. I loved it before COVID 19 but now with all the guidelines it s not worth it to stay. There is no valet, no room service, you must wear a mask all the time, all blackjack tables are 3 people to a table and a lot of slot machines are turned off. I understand about being safe but this is why I won t be back for awhile I ve never been treated so rudely by the staff there. All the dealers had attitudes if I asked any questions, the cocktail waitress took forever for drinks. I was shocked how rude the dealers and pit boss were. If your going to take away amenities that everyone is used to having at least be kind to guests and helpful. We as guest don t know every rule that you ve made in place to make it safe. I think a lot of the staff needs to be retrained on hospitality. Still don t understand why room service was not available when you want everyone to social distance? Thank you

The rooms and staff were great. We loved the buffet and had fun in the casino. This was our first trip to Biloxi, but it will not be the last.

We LOVED it. My only complaint was the smokehouse. Smokehouse is the casino. It is a very good place for shopping,dates and etc.

Pool, view, staff all amazing. I lost my money, but they laughed with me while I did. The drinks at the casino were excellent. There are about 12 waffle House's around so food can be found at a close distance. There's is a small amount of child entertainment but not much. The crowd was more elders and retirees, but those are the most laid back bunch. No issues do anything at all. Pretty place.

Not a very comfortable atmosphere and the employees weren't very friendly at all. We were unable to get coffee at 4 a.m. unless we were playing a machine or wanted to pay 3.75 for a NON refillable cup!!! Not impressed at all!!!!!

They had an arcade, shopping centers, restaurants, and a whole concert area IN THE HOTEL. IT WAS HUGE

Great place to go and game. Southern charm,great food at theTerrace restaurant, very friendly staff throughout the Beau,safe. The machines however,are getting tighter with payouts,but much much better than our local casino in Cherokee.
