I had such a bad experience with Gerard Hierro, real estate agent at this place. Unprofessional, poor work ethics, poor communication skills. If you like an apartment, call the company directly. I went to see an apartment and immediately felt in love with the place. The same day, I sent my application with all the information needed. I also put a security deposit to take the apartment off the market as per his advice. I waited over the weekend for the process to take place. He never reached out to update me, I had to text him to find out what was going on. 5 days later he asked me for a recommendation letter from my landlord and employer which I provided. Few days pass, i don t hear from him. After almost 2 weeks of my application was submitted i Sent him a text one morning asking for an update, no response from him. When I call the company in the afternoon my application was still in process. The next day another agent called me to let me know that the apartment was rented over the weekend to someone else. I was qualified to get the apartment, put a deposit to take the apartment off the market , I was fast with all my paperwork, I was always responsive to his requests ,there was no good reason for me not to get the apartment . The new agent apologized for him and tried to help me out but after the experience I decided to keep my search somewhere else. Never received a direct apology from the agent.

Finding an apartment in New York is exhausting! If you have done it, you know what I'm talking about... You arrived to a point in which it seems impossible to find what you are looking for. Then is when we found Nikki!! She really cares about the needs of the client, she listens to better understand what you search, she is professional and kind. We found the perfect apartment in the Upper East Side thanks to Nikki. Highly recommended!

I was helped by Isaac Strycker to find an apartment, and he was able to help me extremely efficiently and quickly. He found me literally the most perfect apartment, It has all the requirements I needed. He was able to meet me for a viewing at a convenient time for me and was very helpful in giving me options. We had such a pleasurable experience working with Laura Smith and Metropolitan Property Group! I was very nervous to start the dreaded NYC apartment hunt for our second time. But as soon as we met Laura, she made us feel excited and hopeful that we would find an apartment we love. Laura worked so hard to find apartments that would meet our picky criteria - she even went and looked at apartments without us to make sure everything we actually viewed was worth our time! She was able to find us the perfect apartment UNDER budget, and we are so excited to call it home. What I thought would be dreadful turned out to be so fun - all because of how enjoyable Laura made it for us. We found a true friend with Metropolitan Property Group, and we will 100% be working with them and Laura again to find future homes. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I would never use this company again! Horrible, horrible customer service. As soon as we signed the lease, they stopped responding. So unprofessional and rude. They also make you pay a $300 "good faith" deposit, however, don't give it back unless you specifically ask. There are a million brokers in NYC - take your business somewhere else.

Kate Liu was fantastic to work with. After giving her our price range and some of our desired features, she found us plenty of great locations that we otherwise wouldn't have known about. This was definitely a refreshing change of pace after dealing with so many less reliable realtors - would highly recommend.

Kate was fantastic! She really went above and beyond to show us not only the apartment, but all the good spots to eat in the neighborhood as well. Very friendly and easy to work with. :)

Overall this experience left me feeling as though they don't have the customers best interest rather just want to make a quick buck. Applied for a May 1st apartment with a one year lease and had to send forms multiple times. Very little communication throughout the process and disorganized - we had to follow up and ask for updates. No flexibility with when to sign the lease and only found out the terms of the lease once we were actually at the office. Moreover we were never told that it would be an April 15 move in date with a year and 15 day lease. Very unsatisfied but unfortunately the landlords and companies have all the power in NYC forcing tenants to take whatever they can get. Definitely won't be using this group when looking for my next apartment.
