Metropolitan Hotel Lisboa Reviews

The rooms were clean and modern. The staff were incredibly helpful to me, even though I spoke no Portuguese. The included breakfast was also amazing.

To speak of the San Metropolitan is to speak of a large and sophisticated Hotel in the center of Lisbon. I have been there and felt comfortably well attended, not only in front of the staff, but also in the services offered, such as restaurant, breakfast, gym, accommodation etc, worth the investment.

Close to the airport, ease to the metro and everything very close, fast and good

Food is not worthy of 4 stars you can clearly see that it comes from a large kitchen for the evening but in the morning it is still good with a good extensive buffet for the rest it is a very nice hotel with good service and even a wait music for the lift.Only it is strange if you come from Belgium and you see people smoking inside at the bar but then again this is purely Portuguese tradition and where we have outgrown in Belgium. The gym also looked very good, just not tested by yourself

Cozy, modern, situated in the city center, competent and friendly staff.

It should have a complete toiletries kit, toothbrushes, paste, body cream, shampoo and conditioner.

The Sana Metropolitan Hotel is a bit far from the center, but has several nearby establishments such as the market, restaurants and bars. The hotel is very nice, it has a kind and polite staff to cater for guests. The breakfast is very good. There was no double bed available. The hotel has a gym.

Staff is so professional, friendly and available. Rooms and installation in general is very clean and tidy, rooms furniture's are basic ans simple, breakfast was good. Only prob for me was that the rooms are not soundproofed.

Rather spacious room, nice bathroom with bidet, exellent breakfast and restaurant. Matress, wifi and desk space could have been better

The WiFi was not working well, the shower did not have much pressure, there were no connectors next to the bed. The service was excellent, it was very clean, dinner and breakfast very good.

For a 4-star hotel, the sound of the rooms, especially the street would be better.

Quiet location, good facilities, free wifi though weak, disorganized breakfast.

Things work. But don't expect the most modern furniture. Food is average.

Good hotel, located a few minutes by taxi from the airport (one ride costs 5/6 euros) and from the center (7/8 euros) it is not well connected by public transport (metro at 700 meters). A little dated decor, good soundproofing, acceptable breakfast, lunch and dinner. Strong point: the staff, extremely attentive to customer needs, efficient, very helpful. All around, the hotel was good. The food served at the buffet was pretty good as well and the room itself wasn't too bad either. The one thing which I didn't like was the fact that the nearest metro station was 15 min away by foot.

The first time it was good the second an odyssey, changed room because it smelled of bleach, other problems arose with the other it was freezing ... see from the picture the conditions of the window ...

Terrible service and attention. I arrive at the hotel after very difficult day with a hotel voucher from TAP Portugal that clearly says SANA Metropolitan Hotel. A very badly polite receptionist told us that we no longer had rooms. According to the taxi driver, it is the habit of the hotel that they confirm to TAP but if someone who pays more arrives they sell the room and the TAP passenger has to look for life. Very badly done and very unethical.

Excellent place ... The planes pass nearby very close I'm on the 10th floor the airport is a few steps .. The luxury hotel ... !!

Good hotel, quite decent 4 *. Breakfast rates, like everywhere in Portugal, who was the one to understand. Lunches and dinners are good, cook delicious. I liked the stewed octopus more at the hotel than at the street tavern. The room is clean and quiet. To the center and the waterfront hour, better take a taxi.

To make meals outside the hotel you need transportation

Location is very good, the staff are efficient and the accommodations excellent. Live music, buffet, varied movie channels.

Good service, dinner buffet, 10 minutes from the center by taxi. OK for 1 night.
