Overall great. Parking is a pain, but not due to the restaurant itself.

Fun atmosphere. Chill place with a cozy, cool outdoor patio in the winter. Meatloaf and mashed potato burger is seriously delicious comfort food. And, of course, good beer to complete the experience.

Retro place. Good burgers. Bit expensive. Worth it!

Great burger joint in Corktown. We went there for a quick bite before going to downtown for a show. They were friendly, courteous, and fast. They have a variety of burgers including vegetarian and Turkey which were also tasty based on my friend's feedback. Will definitely go back again.

I have a huge issue with this establishment. While my party of 6 were eating downstairs one of our party got sick to her stomach. Rachel, who was not our waitress happened to come downstairs while she was throwing up. We apologized, and We asked for paper towel and told her we would clean up.She then proceeded to be very passive aggressive and condescending...asking us when we were leaving. I understand that it was Cinco De Mayo, but our friend didn't even order a drink. She is the strictest water and something just didn't agree with her...so to treat us as if it was just another drunk Person is beyond unacceptable. We went and spoke to "Koz" who is supposed to be the manager and nothing was done. Myself and my group feel as if this was very bias treatment, of we would have been white no one would have treated us this way. It's bad enough that they say nothing but black people downstairs in the basement...but then to blatantly disrespect us is completely unacceptable.

The food is really good and the prices are great. Get the Breakfast Burritto.

I hear from some people (college students at Wayne State), that this is the best spot for burgers but I just didn't see it. I've had two burgers from here, one was pretty good 8/10, the other was at most 5/10. The beer is very reasonably priced. I probably won't go back here again though.

You have got to try the Flint burger with green olives...awesome!

Burgers and poutine ... How can you go wrong? Decent beer/liquor selection, with a friendly staff. Would recommend.

Food was decent, a little on the dry side but still had good flavor. The service was spotty for being a slow night and food took longer then it should have.

Avoid the Fried Green Tomato BLT - it's a bit too much all at once. Otherwise great food!

Service wasn't very good. It surely wasn't terrible, but we rarely saw our waitress, a table next to us didn't even get to order drinks for about 20 minutes after they were seated. Mine and my wife's burgers were over cooked, and under seasoned. But their slaw is super good according to my wife. Also we enjoyed the chili cheese tots, and poutine fries.

Our favorite burger joint by far! Great atmosphere in the heart if Corktown. Amazing burgers! Vegan options available. Really good sweet potato fries. Nice selection of hit sauce. Decent beer/wine menu. If you haven't been and you like burgers... Seriously, you got to go. Our favorite is to sit in the outdoor patio summer or winter (it's heated in the winter).

5 stars all the way for our waiter downstairs who was excellent, attentive and checked on us enough but yet not too much! I really enjoyed the intimate downstairs, and my wife and I were lucky to be seated immediately, when I believe for larger parties it was well over an hour wait during prime Sat. night with the Auto Show and Winter Blast in town.

The food we have mixed reviews. Wife loved the California Turkey, and my Eastern Market which was a black bean burger was okay. Presentation was bad, it all fell apart and toppings were mushed together. The tots you had to order as a side were good but overly salted. Wish sides were included as prices are fair fornburgers, but at the very least should have a small amount of fries or tots to go along. I think the sides are expensive for what you get.

Great service thou, and we would come back just for that. I would love to order other items like the sandwiches or hot dogs to get a better perspective of their menu, but happy wife happy life so that's all that matters!

Fantastic food, great staff, and one of our absolute favorite places to eat in Detroit.

I went to Mercury Bar with some friends after a Tigers game and before a visit to nearby Sugar House. It's known for its awesome burgers, fries, and milkshakes, and it definitely didn't disappoint; the Southwest burger and the garlic fries were both delicious. The "Hummer" spiked milkshake was delicious, but my wife left wishing that the taste of rum in the drink had been masked a little better.

Overall, we loved it, and we'll definitely be going back!

The burgers are always great. Highly recommend the southwest. It's a burger with an extra chorizo party, avocado, jalapenos, pickled carrots, and tortilla strips. So good.

Great staff, and delicious food, but sadly the burgers aren't fresh, hand pressed or local farm sourced.

Average is pushing it a bit, but I like the vibe it has. I've been here a couple of times (first time was for a few beers and that was great) and this time I'm pretty disappointed. The burger I ordered, while very aesthetically pleasing and relatively neat, was not cooked to order, lacked flavor, uneven application of sauce, and was rather dry. Wouldn't recommend eating here for a serious meal. Some beers and appetizers? Sure. Or maybe enough beer to have a meal and think it's great.

really cool atmosphere. Basement as a nice set up. In the summers you can sit outside and enjoy a nice beer and some snacks.
Staff seemed fairly nice.

Delicious Burgers and we sat out on the spacious patio! Server was kind and was forthcoming when I asked for his suggestions on what to order. A must-have experience in my opinion.

There's a cool vibe in there. Good customer service. They are very engaging. The burgers are yummy and juicy. They make a good coney too.

This place is seriously delicious decadence--great burgers, great fries. Their Poutine is amazing. And the shakes...oh boy. The only downside is that I can't go here with much frequency--I have no willpower for the place and would weigh 400 pounds if I went there regularly. Delicious.

Delicious food, but horrible service! Our server never introduced herself, was very unfriendly, and was very slow to come to our table. Every other server was very friendly and fast, but Katie Y (found on the receipt, because she didn't introduce herself) wasn't friendly at all.

Crazy good fries. The inside is small, but homey. We sat at the bar and it was plenty of space to eat.

Love it here! I've only been a few times but it hasn't disappointed. It's a small little burger joint right on the corner of Michigan Ave. They have a great selection of beers but you must try the Faygo orange shake! It is amazing but so was this appetizer.
