A fantastic place for a burger, one of the best I've ever had.

You have to buy to get the Tator tots and a boozy milkshake. The burgers are soooo good. Very cozy and chill environment. If it s a busy day there my be a small wait but I ve never had to wait too long to be seated.

Eat outside and puppies allowed! Great chili cheese fries great burgers. Looking forward to chowing there again real soon. Hopefully the beers will be flowing soon!

I love this place it's by the Detroit dog park and they allow dogs on the patio. My dog and I frequently go over there after the park to get some lunch. They treat my dog as a guest like they do me. She gets a hamburger I get the fries. The poutine fries are good.

Burgers fries and beer. Not too much to say. Good for what it was supposed to be.

This place is AWESOME! I HAD THE JUICY CHEESEBURGER & FRESH CUT FRIES & IT WAS AMAZING. COOKED TO PERFECTION. ATMOSPHERE FANTASTIC. IF U ARE HUNGRY STOP & EAT HERE. U SHOULD HAVE NO REGRETS.

It's cool to visit at least once. Good service, food and drinks, but way too expensive. I would recommend it, but advise people it won't be a cheap date.

Fun and friendly atmosphere which was great with the exceptional food and beer.

Third time at the Mercury I've Had The Flint Burger each time I get it because it's so good I can't get anything else plus their fries are maybe the best fries ever.

The place was great! The Eastern Market burger (black bean) was very tasty! Great variety on the menu. Tight spacing but worth it for taste and service.

From Texas and this definitely ended my trip right! If you love garlic, get the garlic fries...best fries I've ever had except for my breath after! Nice and helpful staff.

Manager was ridiculous and assumed something that was far from correct. Stay away.

The service was good but the food was truly subpar. I got a burger which was cooked medium well and some Cajun fries. The burger really had no flavor and the fries were so salty they made my lips burn. My date's burger was no better and his tater tots tasted like onion rings and old grease. I heard great things about Murcery and I was so excited to try it, but I left completely disappointed and feeling like maybe I missed the glory days of this place.

So tasty! I've never had a bad meal here and their rotating specials are always interesting.

First time and I will definitely be back. T he Chicago dog was great, loved the wedge salad, salmon fillet was flavorful.

Great spot for a burger. Great hamburgers and Turkey burgers.

This visit was just "ok". They keep seating me and my family in the worst seats...my daughter was stabbed by seat tacks. Took forever to get the bill...straws aren't automatically given.

great place to eat! I would much rather get a burger and tots from here then cross the street and go to SLOWS. This place is friendly and good. MUST TRY IT!

Though there's been a wait both times I've gone, I've enjoyed the beer and burgers they've had. The sweet potato fries are especially good! The shake I had after was delicious as well.

Fun atmosphere with a tasty eclectic menu. Fries are cooked in fat not oil. And they have tots!

Many good food options here, including milkshakes! Would definitely recommend the eastern market black bean burger.

finally decided to check this place out the other day and was amazed at how good the food was grade A Burgers! I got the Southwest Detroit Burger which had avocado salsa tortilla chips (minus the onions because I think they're absolutely disgusting) with cheese, jalapenos and the fiesta fries to match with it and was very satisfied. Will definitely come back here again upon discovering the cool kids area in the basement on my way to the bathroom ( not as loud in the basement which makes for better conversation). Good drinks and Lively atmosphere didn't wait long for my food at all. can definitely be an option for a date night or quick date

Great burgers! Excellent shakes, fries, and a decent beer selection.

I love Mercury burgers. And it is situated in the right spot in front of the old train station and it feels very urban and chill here. I always take my friends out here to eat. Should also try their orange creamsickle which just makes you smile and have tears of joy for tasting something amazing.

This is a review I had given back in 2013: I spent a couple hours here hitting a few bars in Corktown. I was pretty impressed having never been there before. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once you walk inside it has that 'nostalgia' look like a diner from the 50's. My ratings are pretty much always based on the 'atmoshere' of the place. I didn't get to see the outside patio though, which I'm bummed about.

So, I can't comment on the burgers since I only ate an appetizer - poutine to be exact. But I can definitely say that it was delicious and flavorful and I'm hoping to hit this place again so I can try a burger. Beer selection is pretty good too.

The particular bartender we had was pretty awesome. She was very nice and did everything a bartender should do, but also spent a good amount of time bs'ing with us & giving us tips on where to go that night. Places I would not have normally gone, but ended up having an excellent night altogher, and part of that was because of her recommendations.

And here's my updated review from last week: Since my initial review I've been here probably a dozen times and have brought plenty of new people here to try it. Having always ate the poutine here, I never ventured to try their burger. Well, over the holidays I finally did! It was a burger called The Local. A burger with pulled pork on top and BBQ sauce mingled in. Yes, it was delicious! Of course, I did have a side of poutine because I can't go there without having some.
I've had poutine so many places, but MBB I believe is the best. Let's be clear. Poutine is a pretty basic meal. Fries doused in gravy with cheese curds throughout. There are other places that throw in other foods (pulled pork or duck for example) and some of those are really good too. However, for poutine stripped to what it's supposed to be, MBB is my favorite.

I went here with some friends and the burgers were delicious today my son had a half a day so I took him he also loves burgers. He had the burger with fried egg and I had the shroom Burger Deelishis..... We also had the tater tots which we shared and he also had a chocolate milkshake. The food was delicious fresh and we were full when we left there my son wants to go back again he is a 13 year old eating machine

This was a very nice surprise. We had really good food and super fast service. This is a hidden treasure in Corktown. You must try the poutine tots.

This was my first and only time here, and I was absolutely blown away. Probably one of the best burgers I've had in the Detroit area, and the astounding number of options and sides blew me away. if you like buffalo sauce you have to get the Buffalo style tatter tots.

The stars would go up if they didnt charge 10 dollars for just a burger which was in the microwave then 4 dollars for coleslaw. Maybe the money goes towards the lettuce plates. Over 50 for 2 beers and 2 burgers

It was fabulous. And sitting out on the patio with a fire in the pit going was even better!

You could get an equivalent burger from Steak N Shake in terms of quality and flavor. Fries were decent. Beer was served not so cold. Food was served quickly, which was nice.

For a place that calls themselves a "Burger bar" their burgers are below average at best. HopCat and Jolly Pumpkin have MUCH better burgers and fries. And beer. And atmosphere.

Have enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Many years ago, in the last century, I always thought this was the ultimate dive bar. And back in those days, I visited many dive bars from Detroit to Chicago; from D.C. to Raleigh; from Gainesville, Florida to Lexington, Kentucky. The Mercury is unique and well worth a visit. Get the tater tots!

This is a great place to enjoy good food and fun atmosphere. Their poutine tots are to die for and the fired chicken sandwich may be simple but it's super crunchy. It's one of my favorites. I think the quality of food has dropped a bit over the years, especially the floats. They skimp on the flavors now. It's still a good place to try out!

I was enjoying my carry out order until I chomped down on a sizable piece of really hard beige plastic in my tator tachos . It hurt my tooth and grossed me out. I threw out the rest of the food, which wasn t cheap. Waste of money. Highly unsatisfied!
