Jon the GM WAS FANTASTIC! He answered my email very timely and was very professional! He even hugged me when he met me ( I m a hugger ) I set my daughters graduation luncheon there on the patio! Our family ate at Mercury over the holidays. The atmosphere was pleasant and somewhat unique. Due to the size of our group, we ate downstairs. The service was very good and the food as well. Prices were reasonable for Detroit. They had some interesting choices on the menu. Parking is a bit of a challenge. The burgers here are great and service staff were nice. Food was very affordable too. We will definitely be back again.

Great selection of food, cheesy holiday specialties. The burger was exquisite, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff is friendly even in a busy environment. Yet the prices are a bit steep depending on your order and needs(sides & drinks). However, I would still recommend this place at least for a one visit for its uniqueness.

Got to go eat here with my friend anette, the day before we had to lock down again for covid. It was a great friendly experience for me and her. But what stood out the most about this place besides the view of the beautiful train station, was the food it was really good.I recomend the tater tots to compliment your meal.

Burgers were dry. Out of fried green tomatoes. Sat at the bar, boring wait staff, we got a 1/4 of a smile out if her.We were there for a Detroit experience, brought my nephew from Chicago, not an "experience"

Great food and awesome staff. They were very accommodating to our young son that has food allergies. Very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone with allergy concerns.

Pros: Food was fantastic, my wife and I each had a salad to start (wedge and caesar) both were very good. I had the blue apple burger and she had a burger as well. Get the pickled carrots on your burger, they are free and fantastic. Loved the atmosphere and love the music as well, really a cool place to visit. Prices were good as well.

Cons: We sat at the bar, I must say the two ladies at the bar were less than attentive. They would walk right past you with an empty beer or plates and would not clear them or ask if you wanted another drink. Parking was as issue, the lot behind the place, which was $3 was full. We parked on the street by the train station, was lucky to find a spot as that was all full too.

Overall very good and I will be visiting again. I would have given a 4.5 if I could because of the service.

Would rate a 0 if I could. We finally went downtown to eat at the Mercury bar & grill, something that we had been wanting to do for several months and couldn't have been more disappointed. The burgers were good. The poutine was good. We ordered a total of 3 burgers, 1 large poutine, 1 small tater tot poutine and 3 Cokes. The bill was over 70$. For hamburgers fries and some gravy! Seriously?!?!? Save yourself the trip and go to your local bar, cheaper burgers, better prices

Best when not so busy. Good bar food. Friendly folks working there. Nice ambience. Had a great burger and also great fried halibut. Starting salivating while writing that last sentence.

Go for the burger, the fries, the drinks and the service, they're great.
The onion rings and shakes were the weakest link, they do serve the warmest Boston Cooler ever, which is NOT a compliment from a native Detroiter.

A Detroit favorite. Good burgers, cooked correctly, and interesting toppings. Love me some Mercury when I want a solid meal, decent price, in a trendy setting. It may be a 5 star burger; sometimes other elements weigh down experience. (I'm also just not that easy). But I always recommend it.

Yum

Can't go wrong. Great food. Great staff. Awesome milkshakes with adult elixirs! Yum. Located in historic Corktown in the D. Ford bought the train station and produced a wonderful light show tonight, with an anticipated potential to have many events occurring in the huge open areas next to this restaurant.....GO D! What a pleasant area to hang with many eateries and fun walkabouts.

While there may be a wait for seating with a party 4 or larger, the food is phenomenal. The most surprising item on the menu is the Eastern Market burger. It's a black bean burger that has never disappointed and gives the traditional beef burger an excellent run for it's money. Pair your burger with a side of poutine and discover everything that Mercury has to offer!

Delicious burger! I had the SW Detroit. It was overflowing with toppings, slightly messy, but oh so tasty. I just had a burger and beer, no sides, and was perfectly satisfied. Everyone in the place was complimenting the food. Apparently the buffalo tots were also amazing.

The service was wonderful. The bartender was very personable, knowledgeable and she had great recommendations.

Went on a Saturday and they moved slow and the place was packed. I haven't been in years and that's never happened so I was thrown back a bit. I opted to sit on the patio and that was cool to eat and people watch thru the wood fence.

Got the crispy chicken instead of my usual turkey burger; minus the avacado. I got the tater tots as well and a stella artois on tap. The first beer was kinda warm. Beers on tap are usually cold so I wasn't sure. The second beer was cold so maybe that first one came from the bottom of the keg. Sandwich was crispy and delicious, I'd order it again.

Nice place to go and sit down and have a burger and fries. There are other foods to choose from on the menu. I ordered a Turkey Burger & tarter tarts and it was pretty good. Its has a bar inside. Certainly a place for the grownups.
