I've been on hold for OVER HALF AN HOUR this is before I've even had a chance to speak to someone and after the 5 minutes of menu options to try and get through to someone. Absolute Joke of a company, stay as far away as possible.

Atrocious service, I have been automatically apologised to at least 45 times today, still haven't managed to get through. Get your act together. Absolutely cringeworthy service.

Looks like my previous review was deleted but I would like to update that it has now been 4 months and I am still unable to get my pension moved away from Mercer. I wish I could give this a lower rating.

What can I say about this company, there doesn t appear to be any redeeming features other that answering the phone and making positive sounds. From that position everything goes downhill, requests for action take weeks if not months to start or complete. Communication is next to zero, I have a large pension fund with Mercer and I have no confidence what so ever that it can be managed effectively. Since Corona Virus what was bad has become even worse.

This company is a disgrace!!! Waited on the phone for an hour and a half to get information on a pension and I still had no answer. I then rang the switchboard for an email address and they told me there wasn't one. I found this unbelievable and when "putting me through to the supervisor" there was no answer and the phone went dead. This is obviously a company that does not care one little bit about their customers.

It would have been a big fat zero star rating from me, but one star is the lowest rating. I m left feeling like an aged Jewish mother trying to contact her son, in as much as they never call me, they never return my calls. Two and a half months ago I tried to contact Mercer, to draw down some money from my pension plan. Every time I called I got voice mail, I left countless messages with no response. After 12 days of trying countless time a day, I got to speak to a member of staff who said they would send the paper work out to me. A month later I received it. I then tried to contact Mercer again, once again voice mail every time, with no response from Mercer. I only had to wait 10 days this time (they are getting faster answering!). My questions answered, I was informed that they only paid out once a month, and I missed out by a week. So it would be four to six before I would see any of my money. WAY TO GO MERCER.
P.S NOTICE PETE'S POST BELOW MINE. IT TOOK MERCER 2 MONTHS TO REPLY TO HIS POST!.

Is it possible to give zero stars? This is the worst customer service I have ever received. All I am trying to do is advise of change of home address & get a transfer value. No response after 4 weeks to these easy enquiries, pathetic customer services and making me very angry

I have been trying to contact someone (anyone) at Mercer with regards to my pension for well over 2 weeks. Everyday I have rung the number and been left on hold for over 2 hours each time. I then went onto their website to find an email address. There is a contact us page but you don't get access the form to fill in. Totally unacceptable. If I could put no stars I would.

I would also like to give this company zero stars.... dreadful customer service. It is virtually impossible to get anyone to answer the phone and if they do they just say anything to get you off the line and then do nothing. We have waited months to get pension cashed in.... still waiting. Glad to cash in the pension as have no confidence they could administer it when we retire anyway.
