Firstly this workshop is not in Chelsea, as they claim, so I was wary of how honest the service would be. The staff at check in were rude and the paperwork I received after they corrected a safety recall was misleading. I contacted Mercedes regarding this and they just sent a standard reply - obviously I was right to be wary. It was the first and last time I will use this workshop and now have no faith in Mercedes. I m just sorry I didn t read the reviews before I took my car there.

For sure it s the one of the worst place I ve ever seen in whole of my life and I m really sorry for the big name like Mercedes to let people in this place play with they reputations.

I have E-Class 2017 and visit this place because I have a dead pixel on lcd in front.
After replacing the LCD under warranty I heard a very load noise coming out from the speakers before starting the car.

I informed them immediately; first they totally ignore me, then pretend that they can t find the noise, after finding the noise they took my car for 3 weeks to fix, but not only they couldn t fix it, but also hit my car to somewhere in their garage!!! WTH!!

After raising a complaint, their manager handled my case and promised me he would fix my car, but again he didn t!!!

My car was there for more than a month and finally they told me they are not able to fix it and I need to drive the car with this noise.

Not to mention that, they won t answer the phone 99% of the time and if you want to track the procedure you have to go there. To cut it short, please guys AVOID this place; I m not sure if MB consider this review, but I will raise a legal complaint against this place because of damage on my car and wasting my time.

Extremely poor customer service and care towards cars and customers. I have a service plan with them for the last two years plus and I service my car twice a year and on the third service the car started to have issues with.

I had taken my car in at 45k miles to do the service plan and told them on the day my light for the coolent has come on which might need topping up. At the end of the day the receptionist called me and said they done the service and they picked up that the coolent is leaking. I told her that's not possible as the car has only done 45k miles. I told her to leave it and a few daya after I had an MOT due and asked him to check if the coolent is leaking and he told me no and we topped it up and the light came off.

About 4-5 months later the next service was due and they did the planned service and the same issue with the coolent and I started to get sceptical and told them it can't be because it was checked. They did not even sit me down and try to explain or show me what the issues are. The engine light came on around 56k miles so I went into mercedes to get it checked. I had to wait over 10 days before I can get seen to do the diagnostic test. In the meantime they told me I can use the car as its only an Amber light so I did and the light came off when I went in. They checked and they told me there was no issues with the car.

I went on my way and about 3 weeks later as I had gone away on holiday for 10 days the light came back on. So I booked another diagnostic test and they said there is a stored fault but they did the updates to the car and re taught some movements etc and the issue should not come back.

Now less then a week later I have the same engine Amber light came back on as of 8th of October 2020. Booked another diagnostic test and the earliest is 19th of October. I asked if can bring forward one of the service plans as it might solve the issue which is due in 6k miles and they said I have to pay extra etc.

Had the filters checked and it looks like they have never been changed as they was dirty and I can pretty much be certain they never even changed the oil probably only topped it up.

Customer service does not exist. I have been advised to replace the tyre in the picture. They said it was impossible to repair... they told me I had to change it and the sent me a quote... I said no and I went to a proper garage and they took the little nail off. It was 1 mm deep, the tyre didn't even have a hole. Also, I have been quoted parts that didn't need to be replaced at all! I rated 1 start because I cannot put 0

1. They do not care about 'hard earned money', they're too used to people handing over their credit cards and not contesting.
2. They overcharge for any service, I was offered a discount on every occasion I have taken my vehicle in, after I had queried the estimate. Very unprofessional and they will pick and choose whom they will target to rip off.
3. DO NOT ask for a loan car, I have been overcharged by 'Enterprise' more than once. I had to make calls and found out that they get sent an advisor from the Wimbledon branch to deal with loan cars through Enterprise. They will charge you for more days. (Kevin)
4. Car park is always busy, due to many recalls and in warranty repairs. They use the bus garage's across the road.
5. Just eastern europeans work at this branch, I have no problem with race, but when 80% of them are Polish, eyebrows start to raise as it's not a family owned business.
6. Car came back dirty and scratched from them recycling old cloths. So please, if you have a beautiful S class, DO NOT! opt for a 'free car wash'. PLEASE say no.
7. Receptionist women, looks like she does not care, the old-ish one with that cockney accent is just so laid back, not bothered with anything.
8. Wait around long enough for a loan car and you may realise that every minute during office hours, you'd see employees coming into the main reception for customers to grab themselves a coffee.
9. I've seen people hand over their cards and not once look for what they paid.
10. AVOID at all cost. They are apprentices which work on your beloved car earned Car. Bring the car to a trustworthy source unless its warranty related (double check its an experiences technician working on it) - and even then, don't trust them.
11.Another big one, typical Mercedes dealership routine is, they will test drive my car, even if it's in for an antenna issue. (Bring them something like a 500 or a AMG, just make sure you count the mileage.
Owned of a CLS AMG 2012. (I now bring my beloved car, to a family owned repair centre located on Kings road.)

Very dissatisfied. It s unbelievable how bad the service is when trying to purchase a used car, not a cheap used car a 18 month old s-class. After been continuously lied to I feel that had I not constantly chased I would never have got the car. In hindsight I should have walked away. It seems that as time goes by I find more things. I was given a trade in value of my car and unfortunately I was to busy chasing the sale to focus on what was offered, only to discover that we buy any car would have offered me more.
The quality control on the delivery on used cars must be none or no standards at all. Things where missing and there was scratch marks on the vehicle. I would have expected it to at least be polished professionally. Again very disappointing. Seems like I am no longer dealing with professionals or a company that respects its clients. This is my 4th car from Mercedes and I doubt I will be getting a 5th.
I do a lot of mileage and have never felt that I have received much service.
Although I must say when I purchased a new car from James Bruton the service was excellent. Maybe he should start training others

Terrible service. Our B180 was reviewed twice in Chelsea workshop and they couldn't find the problem. I took it to Croydon MB after sales and it took 10 seconds to the technician to find out what the problem was. They also tried to charge me for repairing something although the car was under warranty. I strongly recommend MB Croydon.

Absolutely awful service. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CAR!!! Service dept did not even hand my car back after having it all day - I was thrown the keys by the lads who drive the cars from workshop
to garage. It's been 2 weeks and I've heard nothing from them and the car is still broken (I was meant to be having a part delivered from Germany). I've tried calling main Mercedes office - they also can't get in touch with this branch. Reception is rude and unhelpful.

My car was returned having been driven around by the lads in Sports + mode - the heating was on full blast, radio on loud.

I have decided to travel to Reading to get the car fixed instead - it's worth the extra hour drive. These guys are cowboys.

Terrible service. My company car gets serviced from here and they never collect or drop off on time. Last year on drop off they parked the car illegally and left the keys with the wrong flat. We spent two days chasing them to figure out where the keys were and had to pay fines as the car got towed. This year, despite a safety recall from the manufacturer, they haven't shown up to pick the car FOUR times. Never an explanation. They book it in for the next availability and proceed to not show up, again. Each time I have taken the day off work to be available for the car collection. Despite a series of complaints, the same behaviour continues. Very incompetent management.

Went in for the very first time, to get my car key battery replaced, friendly and great service. Silver haired gentleman in the parts section, replaced my car key battery, he was very kind. I will be, a returning customer to Mercedes-Benz Chelsea. Many thanks.

Had a fault with my car and tried to book it into my nearest Mercedes in Cambridge, told them I needed the car back quickly but they quoted me eight days just to get it booked in, so I called Mercedes Chelsea who listened to my plee and booked me in the next morning, brilliant, thank you

Watch them with Sat-Nav update, they will give you the series no and the cover of the sat-nav update DVD but no update was done, so please write the map version and the date was validated and the compare after servicing, those infos you can find at the last page in your Sat-Nav menue. With other services I cannot tell as I did not know how to check if they have done anything to my car at all. So never again.

These guys never have parking space and nowadays nobody speak English in carpark. At least I understand that McDonald's means free parking for Mercedes customers.
Unfortunately McDonald's doesn't have special deal for Mercedes customers...

Have edited this review a year on from the original. These guys are trying hard. Their communication is still very patchy, but I have moved it from a one star to a three star to reflect that most of the time they get most things right.

Very disappointing insofar it seems a well run dealership but the communication by the service is just awful. Its not the staff but the systems I think. I have two cars that I have had servicing and other work done at this garage during 2017. Parts, sales and service don't communicate, staff don't return calls or email. It's just too hard to work with them. Have visited twice over summer to have MobileMe activated but no-one seems to know how. it remains de-activated 3 months after installation. It's so disappointing when a local authorised dealership falls so short of the brand.

Would not recommenced this Branch for any form of warranty work.
They either state they can't find the issue, or keep stating its best to take the car to the place it was purchased.

The service manager likes swearing just at the door or the waiting area and the staff room. Customer's aren't deaf, and we can also hear that some of cursing is towards customers.

The idiots that bring your car back from the car park, always leave the car on Sport Plus too.

Do they take the piss only because its a manufacturer owned dealership??

I went today to top up my coolant. I didn t manage to get the name of the old lady at the front reception. She was very rude and not informative at all. She needs to go back to customer service training. You d think working at such a prestigious brand the least she could do is smile.

The people at the brooklands mercedes benz world were politeful and helpful when I bought my car, won t be recommending anyone to this branch.

you expect to have good communication custmer service with manner from big dealer like Mercedes but the last 2visit this place was so disgrace and ashamed by those Mercedes benz chelsea customers representer.

As customs I expect,

Respect and good manner from those representer, was no good also responsible was from those no where near from Mercedes customs service.

I was totally big unhappy. I think (believe) they need more training. (Customers service) training .???????

The few times I went there I have had great service. Dave and Rania are very nice. The whole team are like a family helping their customers. I went to Kwik fit before. And they said my tires and brake pads needed changing and when I came to Mercedes they said it was only half way and I don't need to change my tires and brake yet.
