Stayed for one night, B&B, I would comfortable say we dont get the same quality in London. Everything was neat and tidy, clean sheets, towels and duvet, complimentary drinks, free milk on request, a nice small fridge, ironing board, sports channels, hair dryer, indoor pool and a very well equipped gym.

Reception staff member not all just 1 could do with a lesson in hospitality as he wasn't very friendly upon our arrival couldn't even smile was very abrupt hairs found on sheet of bed bed wasn't very comfortable very hard quilt very thin room was cold till we finally worked out how to put heating on hotel it self inside was very nice breakfast was lovely and a great choice not all facilities ie massages wasn't available but pool sauna juccuzzi was fantastic and a great experience.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS HORRIBLE.Visited for a meal room was freezing cold asked for the heating to be turned up and nothing.Food was horrible overpriced and lacking any flavor. My daughter and partner had terrible stomachache after. The meal took 90 mins to arrive. Only upon asking were we told there was only three staff in the kitchen ! The chain had been recently taken over and are clearly looking to cut costs. The whole hotel was dated and old fashioned.

Excellent service, staff went beyond their remit. Varied breakfast and good choice of dinner menu. Underground disabled parking was a real bonus. Very comfortable rooms with heavy lightproof curtains. All in all an excellent stay and we shall certainly return.

Afternoon tea not as expected in public area with people going about daily business deals whilst sat in middle of it all. Sandwiches a big disappointment no waitress service chasing for more drinks. 85th birthday very sad.

The room was ok but bathroom was poor. The staff were friendly and helpful too. However the prices were extortionate for drinks, I recommend you go elsewhere rather than pay the insane prices they demand.

We had booked a time slot for afternoon tea and when arrived was told we'd have to wait 30 minutes. When our plate of cakes and sandwiches arrived unfortunately the bread was stale. The staff replaced but overall a little disappointed.

This was my third stay at Mickleover Court. I really do love this hotel its novel layout, great ambience and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent too. Overall I feel it's very good value and I plan to use it as a base for a visit to the dales with my wife, hopefully in the spring.

Food and service was absolutely amazing and definitely deserves 5*, however the hotel needs a good facelift, especially the rooms. The rooms are clean but the beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom is looking rather run down but again it's clean. This hotel could be a good 4* or even 5* with a little TLC.

Visited Beau Chic beauty salon. Saw Natalie and had my nails done. Very enthusiastic, polite, cheerful, friendly and a perfectionist in her work. . Showed me all the new Autumn colours in polish, and helped me choose. Went the extra mile and and moisturized my hands for me.

When we booked the family suite I expected the room to be one space with double bed and 2 singles. Well wow was I surprised! We were giving the Imari suite and When entering the room it was massive with a sofa bed and wee single next to it, room must of been used for meetings as there was a big round table with chairs, big telly and cupboard space for clothes. Next door opened into a big bedroom, big wardrobe and dressing table. Also big telly. Joining both rooms was a big bathroom, 2 sinks, shower over bath and standing separate shower. There was a massive balcony went full length of rooms. The bed was very comfortable and we were provided with a desk fan and fan/heating system on wall.
Breakfast was deliciously with buffet help self and everything was cooked no faults.
We had one issue in room about the water pressure in the shower cubicle and when reported the lovely very helpful receptionist female got the issue sorted by time we returned to room in the evening.
We tried the pool twice and the decor and area were very tired looking and the pool it s self was very dirty and grainy inside! We did report this and asked how often pool got cleaned to be told they hired the cleaner! So we made the decision not use it again which was a shame as my wee girl loves the water.
Staff were all helpful and no issues at all they made us feel welcome.
Over all a very good holiday just wish pool area was better reason I only gave a 4 star.

Good hotel on an ideal location to access so many places. Staff very friendly and eco scheme for rooms us great a free drink every night is a great incentive not to have your room serviced. Some bits a little dated and breakfast could be better hence the 4 stars

Looks amazing but pool changing rooms and some of the pool itself were under refurb which was disappointing we didn't know when we booked as this was a major feature as something to do with the kids whilst we were here. Bedroom wasn't perfect either with limited spaced suite / family room. Restaurant opened too late for us as we had small children who can't wait till half six for the restaurant to even open so we had to eat out. Overall good but better was expected.

Me and my bf stayed a night in this hotel, it was my worst night ever! They have beautiful pictures on their website but rooms, restaurant, baths are so dirty. The bed was so small we couldn't sleep at night comfortable, we both are slim, but we couldn't manage to fit in the bed!!!!! People were shouting and fighting just outside our room for hours, and no body cares to take care of this situation.
To be honest, the hotel was a nightmare. I wonder how they got 4stars!!!! Don't waste your money and your time on this hotel.

OK

Stayed here for 2 nights while down on a training course through my work. Really nice hotel that could do with a smidge of moderisation in the bathrooms but all features work etc so why would you if ya dont have to.

Staff all pleasant and polite no hassles with them. Food is really really good! Halloumi fries were lovely all served hot and quickly. Great place to stay of you are down that way

Booked 2 nights at this hotel as part of a Waitrose promotion. Check in was easy and the staff are welcoming. The first impressions of the hotel are decent as was the room, but on closer inspection the rooms are a little tired but comfortable. The water is hot and plentiful but the bathrooms need refitting as a matter of urgency. Breakfast was nice and varied but pots of tea need to be bigger and hotter! Overall not a bad hotel just a bit tired, but then again if it's well used it's bound to suffer, it just needs some tlc.

Very functional rooms, beds were comfortable but it was it need of an update. Everything just felt a little dated and could do with a good clean and refresh. It's good if you need a bed for a night but wouldn't stay for longer than the night.

Had a short stay here. 2 breakfasts, and 1 dinner on day of our choice . Food excellent good choice, lovely breakfast set you up for the day. Service very good effiecient but friendly. All the staff friendly and welcoming, from reception to cleaning staff. For the price, the room was fabulous. Large and comfortable huge comfy bed with extra pillows in wardrobe. Free wi fi and digital tv. Tea making facilities and fridge. We took a jug of milk for tea making and kept in fridge.!!
Bathroom clean and extra towels. Highly recommended.
Cannot review spa and pool facilities as we did not use them...
