Yes, Menomale has the best Neapolitan pizza in the city, but it does not get the praise of 2 Amy's or Pizzeria Paradiso...probably due to the location. We have eaten just about everything there and it's all good. Our favorite pizza is the Diavola.

The place is small and cozy and there can be a wait but it's worth it. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. Meno male!

This place is in a small Neighbour hood. There is street parking. The place is small, but we were seated outside immediately. We got the Coccio as a starter. It was creamy and the bread with it was delicious. We got two pizzas The Diavola which was amazing and Chefs special. I did not like the later one. It did not have flavor to it apart from the cured meat. But the tiramisu was great, a perfect blend of sweet and coffee taste to it.

I can't lie. The pizzas are great. It's the service I take issue.

I had become accustomed to my pickup orders not being ready on time. I've worked in food service and I'm hardly about to make a drink over 10 or 15 minutes, but the other day I arrived 10 minutes after our pizzas were to be ready according to their own website (30 minutes after ordering at 5:45pm) and didn't end up getting my pizzas for another 50 minutes. I was told at multiple times that it would be "just another 5 minutes," but I ended up not being handed my pizza until 7:10pm. And the kicker? It wasn't hot.

No one apologized or offered to make the situation right.

It may be that they are popular enough that they can afford to ignore issues like this. But yesterday they lost two customers.

Neapolitan pizza is my all time favorite. If I'm going to binge on carbs, I want it to be worth it. Menomale pizza makes the cut. The dough is exactly what I expected: simple, thin, soft, and stretchy. Most of the ingredients seemed to be of high quality. However, the meats (particularly the ham) seemed like cut-up lunch meat and the red sauce tasted like the red Chef Boyardee sauce. I'm used to crushed tomatoes (little to no processing), but maybe this is how it is supposed to be done. I like that Menomale partners with another local vendor, Salumeria. Worth a try!

Red sauce in pizza was overwhelming. Either to much red sauce or undercooked pizza. It was dripping like a soup. NOT GOOD. HOWEVER, potato pizza was good.. not great.. seems like place had better days... smells, feels and looks very grungy and dated.. need a refresher.. how about some fresh paint and new furniture..

Hidden gem of real Neapolitan pizza!

Hidden gem of real Neapolitan pizza!

We tried the Prosciutto cotto (Ham) and a calzone Rosso (with additional Parma ham).

Simply amazing. I m so proud that our pizzaioli can make such a great pizza so far from home!

100% recommended!
