It was so great to have this personal service for my child when he was sick. The last thing any parent wants to do it wait in a doctors office while your child should be resting in his/her own bed.
Have issues with the platform as a provider? Not getting results? Follow up once a week, and if you're not seeing anything happen, ask for a discount. This is especially true if you don't have a normal set up and anything is customized just for your practice or organization. Doximity works as a good alternative, if they're not willing to budge.
I had a great experience with Mend. My son Noah got an ear infection and my wife was with my 2 other children. I had a ton of work to do at home with conference calls and emails. To be able to complete my work I contacted Mend who came out and was able to treat Noah and call in a prescription for his ear infection. I was able to complete my work from the convenience of met home and still have my son treated for his ear infection. The knowledge and personalities of the two PA's that came out were also fantastic and helped my 3 year old Noah feel at ease. It was a very convenient and easy process and would definitely use Mend in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for quality healthcare without having to deal with the hassle of traveling to a doctor's office and having to wait in the lobby for an unknown amount of time.
Mend is truly a blessing and a dream come true for any Mom! I love how I am able to skip the car ride, the hours away from home, the doctor's office full of sick children and so on... It provides health and peace of mind right in the comfort of my own home. Dr. Niemiec who visited us was kind, thorough, and even took the time to play with my two year old before evaluating her wellness. Thank you Mend for a great service and for meeting the needs of Moms everywhere!

Mend just made my life ALOT easier! Having 3 kids at home under the age of 6, getting to the doctor's office is a nightmare. It was amazing to have a team at my door within 40 minutes. I love that I can stay at home, get a quick response and not have to worry about taking my kids anywhere or getting childcare so I can see a doctor.
Worst platform in the world, 0 stars. The system is extremely slow, the development team does not solve the issues you are having. They will say an issue is resolved and then another issue will arise. Our company has used this platform for over a year and it has NEVER worked as it is supposed to. Unbelievably slow, there are always issues with rescheduling, appointments do not load in the calendar view so overbooks are always scheduled, video visits rarely work. The screen goes blank so you can not see who you are talking too, there is a lot of lag time when the patient is talking, and delayed speech. The mend team will tell you this is an internet issue on our end but we do not have issues with any other video chat app (zoom, facetime, whatsapp, tango). I do not recommend this company.
While feeling ill at work, I tried to make a same-day appointment with my primary care provider, but there wasn't availability for 2 days. Instead of having to miss at least two hours of work when I would probably already feel better, I called Mend - or rather, went to their website and was immediately greeted by a customer service agent via chat, who gave my information to the nurse, who called me a few minutes later. She got me in immediately, where I sat in an armchair while she took my information in an empty waiting room. I had her and the doctor's full attention for my entire visit. Add in the app/telemedicine with the website and customer service (both in person and online/over the phone), it really felt like 21st century medicine, and I was reassured of my choice to use Mend as an urgent care provider (which was also accepted by my insurance). And it's so convenient from work, I know I'll be back (but hopefully not too soon)!
Two sick children taken care of within the hour! Instead of calling my doctor and waiting days/hours I had a doctor show up at my home and take care of my girls. I didn't have to wait in a germ infested waiting room, I didn't have to pack my sick girls into the car. Maricca was professional and so sweet with my girls. She completely put them at ease and the convenience can't be beat.
Where is Dr Kimani? He's he best doc I am has. Now I have a new Dr who knows nothing about me. Not liking this change.
