Mixed feelings ... I wouldn't say 5 stars. Reception was okay, rooms okay .. Bathroom floor could be a bit more thorough (hair was still there) and dust remained on furniture. The restaurant where you have to reserve there, we were very poorly received and treated by the waitress (first class arrogance) in addition, the food was the pizza and that there was still not to eat. The 2nd hotel restaurant is good but not for people with sensitive intestines. My husband ate it quite nicely but a lot always comes back every day, even on a friendly level. Animation team very friendly and polite also the pools deserve a big 10. Coktail bar was great! It was not my best holiday there, but I believe that if everyone there would put more effort into it and make a smile that it would be fine there. Greetings Syl and Rik

This is a very nice hotel the child care is really nice and the food is really great there is something for everyone. The staff is also very nice and always has a smile on their face. I would fly back here anytime.

Hotel definitely worth recommending. According to our resident, it is one of the five best hotels in Bulgaria. Clean, large, tasteful rooms and bathrooms. Always fresh and varied meals, nice staff. Plenty of space around the pools, we have never happened to lack of sunbeds. Nice well-kept park, 100 meters to the sandy beach.

Staying here has been, unfortunately, a mixed experience, with good and bad parts.
The good:
- the staff - professional, helpful, smiling, friendly, some of the best I've met.
- the facilities - with a little extra for everyone, maintained, easy to use (the indoor pool is so great).
- the rooms - clean, cozy, large, with extremely comfortable beds and such a comfy bathroom.
- the location - right in the center of everything, easy to access.
The bad:
- the food - atrocious is a word I would use. Ranging from just lacking taste, going through incorrectly prepared (see mashed potatoes) or downright uncooked (see anything beef), it might get you sick (I got us..).
Overall, it's a 5-star service with 5-star staff and 1-star food.

Hotel - I agree with the previous speakers, everything at a high level. I warn against a taxi driver who does not know if he is an employee of a hotel or other services but he drives a taxi labeled Melia Grande Hermitage - I arranged with him for a price of 15 lev for a round trip to the Monastery and back to the hotel / 4km one way /, another taxi driver came to the monastery and 30 lev was asked under the hotel, because his colleague gave it to him. That colleague was standing by the hotel and when I reminded him about the contract, he said that nothing like that had happened. I was alone with my child and I think that they let themselves be thieved for this reason. This situation in my eyes puts the hotel in a very bad light and I will take this opinion to Poland and further. Shame!!!

Spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff, good and varied food. Close to sea (100 m). The only downside is that it does not have its own beach, so the cost of sunbeds, umbrellas and beer / juices is also added at the price per stay. Parking is free of charge in the underground garage (20 leva / day).

A beautiful large hotel. All the staff were courteous but not very friendly. It is either a cultural difference or a barrier of the language. The "locals" (Bulgarian/Russian) were very much at home and thoroughly enjoying themselves, particularly the youngsters. The buffet style food is very much the norm for such hotels - canteen food - well cooked and plentiful. The Italian restaurant pizza is excellent!

Good location at Golden sands. Not 5 stars, but adequate. Clean rooms friendly staff. Lots of kids running around. This is for families, if you are a couple or group of friends pick another place. Not close to restaurants or nightclubs.

Nice rooms. Good food. Nice beach. Good service. Good entry to the water. Less: paid sunbeds, mattresses, umbrellas and a toilet on the beach, as this is part of the city beach. On weekends it is noisy until night, but you can close the balcony :-)

No 5 stars earned ............ I do not know where to start the staff is very indifferent to rude, drinks we had to basically pick ourselves whether it was coffee in the morning or the evening wine, the cleaning staff Although daily in the very nice large room only cleaned was not always. The drinks in the mini bar were charged extra, in the whole area there were drinks only in plastic cups. At the end of our holiday there was a big party in the area (wedding?) We were relocated for lunch which is usually no problem only there was not enough dishes sodas some guests got plastic dishes and cutlery. In addition, there was also a fair instead of which many suit wearer in the area were. Something positive in the end the food was very good and varied, the wellness department super still stands for us: Sorry but we will not book this hotel again

Very nice hotel, friendly for families with children, lots of animation, swimming pools, slides, rope park, playroom, mini disco, playground, paddling pool etc ...
Friendly service, daily cleaned rooms, clean restaurants and very good food. 200m to the sea ... extra! recommend

Hotel moloch. The former style of the Polish People's Republic. We were in 5 * hotels, these do not belong to Bulgarian standards. Reception not helpful as something badly organized, for example, allocating rooms to parents and children at 2 different ends of the hotel does not help and disposes. Resident's help was needed. Bulgarian cuisine did not come to us with hard meat, food too sweet and too greasy. Fortunately, there are salads. Few pools and loungers in relation to the number of guests. Black Sea great, albeit public, so sunbeds and food paid. You can take a bath for free. Spacious rooms which is a plus and the beds are great. Guests are distinguished for social caste like all inclining but each has different colors of the wristband. It means sleeping in other all-inclusive conditions as for communes. A balcony on the 3rd floor with street noise and hotel construction should make up to 3 *. Each spacious bathroom has a bath and shower with toiletries, a hairdryer and towels. There is not enough light for night visits. Note the mini bar payable in most of the colors of the wristband we had blue. On the plus side in the restaurant menu for children and efficient waiters in the season in addition to a smile. Rescuers near the pools, as it was described by the children for the old fear to sink, and the vision mouth mouth causes that the body will swim out before it drowns. The quality is not adequate for the price. The set of drinks is Campari which pleased us but not the original only the local version of alcohol. Considering the hotels you have passed before getting to this place, this one looks best from here as high as 4 *. Efficient air conditioning. As for 5 * there is only 1 bottle of water to greet and later paid. The hotel boasts 2 levels of all inclinable plain and level which is the biggest downside to distinguish people including a separate floor or viewing terrace with a bar just for them. Means the accretions of communism and not the EU.
The Animation Team made the time actively involved more attractive. Bravo Animation Team 2018.

Which bothered me that ... as a hotel of so many stars, the service women do not come clean every day.
In the second row for the stars, the rooms should be more beautiful and the SPA program should be included in the price! Thirdly, the sand is dirty, so does the water.

Nice hotel, clean , big and quiet room and baths, good services and polite personal, the sea view is fantastic. A lot of entertainment activities, pools, playground area, park. The parking is undersized and you have to block others in order to be in the hotel area and feel somehow safe that your car will not be picked up quickly by authorities ( parking lots can not be reserved and are not free)

A good choice for the family. A nice program for children every day. Although the language of the children's program was English and Bulgarian, the Finnish-speaking child also enjoyed it. The rooms were spacious and clean and the two-room solution worked with an intermediate solution. Special mention of good soundproofing, the noise of the pool restaurant or park stage did not bother you when you closed the balcony door. The restaurants have plenty to choose from and good food can be found for almost every taste. The restaurants have several delicious options that change from evening to night. The best delicacies were found in the meat department and, similarly, we missed fresher vegetables and fruits, as in many other southern European countries. The dessert side was very varied, many delicacies went untasted when the stomach has its limits. The house beer was very good but the wines mediocre. It was a slight disappointment, as Bulgarian wines in general are good. A single or childless couple should choose the Level solution so there is no need to suffer from the hassle or noise caused by the large number of children in restaurants. Thanks also to the helpful and friendly staff.

fantastic hotel.spotless and staff were so friendly. food was amazing and the pizza and paninis at the pool were so delicious. also all different flavours of ice cream cones all included in all inclusive.will definitely be back x

Hotel with 5 * room for food is 3 * .Jenant. We were deeply disappointed with what served in the restaurant, tasteless food, badly prepared, only good to throw in garbage. If you are happy with potato meals and something salad at lunch and dinner (they were presented in the trays as the main kind of red on the grill, pickled vegetables, etc.), and in the morning you are satisfied only with eggs (various sticky and oxidized sausages, very poor assortment), it may be ok but I say I do not ask for what money they ask for. At the stand where they make pizza at 12 o'clock, stand in the queue for dinner at 17 o'clock (after the program they present) after 15:30 pa pa. something with onion that does not deserve to be called pizza, can be thrown quietly into the garbage (plus they show a small tray up, one the same down), so after 5-6 person pa pa pizza.Se get sweets, cake, cakes that were tasteful but again, they put 2 cakes, when it ends, come with something, again is not ok. The charge costs 10 euro \ day in the underground, on the beach you had to pay sunbeds (2 sunbeds + 2 sunbeds + 1 umbrella cost 36 leva / day) and it is not their beach, they offer free of charge only to the pool.In the last evening the bar was closed simple, you could not eat anything. Otherwise, the hotel's location is ok, the resort is ok.
In conclusion: Room 8 (it has free safe as well as extra, but the extra bed for the first time was a loose armchair, then after asking if there are other possibilities they came with a very crappy bed if you pushed it a bit dropped to the floor simply, not at all safe, so I slept all three in the same bed, quite generous the right-2x2), food note 4, fun note 7 (the small animated team of children animators - 2-3 people ), mini-disco shows of the whole embarrassment, but they were striving, the staff score 8 (friendly, poor, but for many things it's the job of a manager that does not depend on them). Maybe (it's all said by the puzder of Romanian clients) to insist, for example, at minidisco vb and in Polish (besides German and English), to have something in Romanian.
PS.In the answer provided by the quality manager, he does not even know the hours of running the ice cream stand: on the program offered by the hotel (I picture with him) is written until 17:00 but the lady insists with 16:30. He does not know that the stage bar, that is, the bar that is near the mini disco scene was closed on 15.07.2018. The hottest phase: if the world stays in the pizza queue AUTOMAT that pizza is good ... Tare manager .. And all the goodies of bakery products in the area where bread was served were simply out of date and not soft at all, so you have nothing to do if they are bad.
I notice that this quality manager is almost arguing for my post, but I can say: DEMISIA!

Superb hotel!

We had a wonderful week.
Just the slightly cold pool water in the morning, on the other hand, the fine sand beach and the superb water.
LEVEL option absolutely to try.

We had paid extra for Level so better standard, m.m. it is by no means worth the money. The food is exactly the same in the Level restaurant as in the regular restaurant, except that in the regular restaurant the food was hot and it is not on level.
Special reception for Level guests, but here I did not know much and was not really helpful.
Better rooms with daily refills of coffee, water ect. But it was forgotten quite often.
Not a hotel I would choose again.
Not a 5 star hotel, equivalent to 3+ or 4

Beautiful architecture of the hotel but the management must take into account the feedback from customers in order to maintain its local 5 stars
Repetitive food chicken pork has all the sauces as a starter and main course
Also a little taste in the presentation that does not cut the margin of the hotel
On the other hand it is phenomenal to announce a service until 9:00 p.m. whereas at 8:40 p.m. the buffet starts to be cleared 8:50 p.m. everything is folded
Show your empathy with the client, all the more so when you are an assistant manager and a force of exemplarity with respect to your team
