The best basketball courts in Melbourne, excellent outdoor pool for laps and water polo. Have been playing sports here for over a decade and would be hard pressed to suggest anywhere better.

Well, it can't be any better. The long swimming lanes are perfect to optimize your swim techniques. After that, you can relax in the sauna or in the whirlpool. And your children can enjoy artificial waves. So it is family friendly. Since a short time they only serve healthy food, which is definitely an optimization. I would recommend to go there.

An amazing centre that is well maintained. A bit tricky to get to in peak hour traffic so if you are here for a competition allow plenty of travel time if travelling by car or team bus. Ample parking with all day rates available, at time of the review it was $12.50 for all day.

A great sporting facility with a wide variety of event s to take part in. The social squash is particularly good with a small fee allowing you to play all day against various opponents on Saturday. I recommend this to all people sporty

Facilities are extraordinarily clean and well managed, with most facilities equipped with the latest relevant and revolutionary technology. However, the food at the canteen is fairly overpriced, also having a general drop in quality after the renovation and change of ownership.

Large range of state of the art facilities. Unlike most sporting centres MSAC has the luxury of being able to have (mostly) dedicated indoor playing courts for each sport (10x basketball, 10 squash, 12 badminton, 18 table tennis tables, 3 volleyball courts) also very large Aquatics. Home to half a dozen State sporting Tenants.

The best sports facilities in Melbourne for sure. Whether you want to go for swimming, running, play badminton or basket ball, MSAC can accomodate everything. Also a popular venue for various sports events such as Brazilian Jiujitsu Competitions.

One of the best sport centre I've ever seen in my Life. There are courts for a lot of different sports and the swimming pool section is simply gorgeous. Two Olympics pool (indoor and outdoor), other two 25m indoor, diving pool, a pool for kids, wawe pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna!

Msac is your one stop for anything sport related. With a huge amount of sports and facilities msac is a facility like no other. The staff that are running it are also more than up to scratch and never fail to provide assistance in times of need.

Great place for a swim. This place has clean and clear water that actually smells like water.

Good change rooms. Bike parking. Lots of options. Good pools for different swimming.

Food and drinks available. Coffee is ok and wait time is low. Good place to go overall.

Facility is great but swimming school is a joke. At the counter they told me that I am only signing for 1 term/course. After the course they silently kept charging my cardit card for next 6 months. When complained no one even tried to solve it or refund...they just told me that there is a paragraph in contract saying so. Obviously there is....but this is swiminh school for freak sake not a telecomunication company or bank. Apparently you cant even trust institution which meant to be customer friendly....

As for the school and lessons - I signed for intermediate classes. It was group of 3. They allowed other 2 persons who can't even swim. So my coach was spending all the time with them instead me. They should just send them.to beginner group, not pretend that everything is allright.

EDIT: I wrote you an complaint/resignation e-mail on 19 April 2019 - 3 weeks before I left this comment here. So I gave you a lot of chance to contact me/resolve this issue.

Just don't pretend that you care, when you clearly don't ;)

For the first time ever has our basketball been cancelled due to an MSAC management stuff up. Pick up your game. Basketball has been played on Thursday nights for as long as MSAC has been open.

Sir Albert Cafe, could not be more disappointed or frustrated.

Your staff look miserable and even less impressed when I walked in with three 6 year olds for breakfast before Chase Basketball Camp.

There is absolutely nothing suitable for breakfast, no toast or muffin, clearly not looking at what you market it in certain days.

I went to the swimming area of this place and it was great! This place's pools are perfect temperature and spread out nicely. There are many attractions such as a wave pool, spa, many diving boards from 1m to 10m, a water slide and usually has since inflatables in the holidays. Really good!

Awesome ATM. Pin pad was soft & warm, (gas heated?) and the display was just bright enough to see clearly but not so bright that the dude behind me could see my pathetic bank balance at the age of 30.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, even got a printed receipt... But then quickly disposed of it in the tiny slot and stole someone else's disposed slip so I could pretend I had $1,539.00 in my available balance.

Exactly what you need in an ATM, input in card, PIN, output a depressing reminder of how the old people are hoarding all the wealth in this country.

I tried out the centre with a friend yesterday morning Sunday 11.00 am . I have had a foot injury and wanted to swim in my depth so I could rest. I Thought that the hydro pool would be best but it had a prebooked event and wouldn t be available until 2.00 pm.

We then went to the shallower of the pools where there were approx. 5 lanes devoted to swim classes, and initially,, two lanes for the general public -one for play ( parents with babies and kids playing) and one slow lap lane where there were 3 or 4 more mature swimmers doing slow laps - walking and swimming. We joined the latter public lane. We were later asked to change our lane usage which we did to accomodate new swim class locations but then when yet another swim class started up we were asked to give our lane over and join the play lane which was both overcrowded and inappropriate. We asked for other alternatives but only the deep pool was available. There was no effort made by those on duty in that pool to try to find a suitable alternative. We had to leave as did at least one another gentleman. This was disappointing as we thought that the main melbourne aquatic centre would offer better service and swimming options.

I suggest that you consider the possibility that if the thermal pool is closed that a lane at least be made available in the area that most closely offers a like alternative. Likewise options should be made clear on entry so those with ambulatory difficulties don t to continually wander from place to place looking for suitable swimming options.
I hope that this feedback will inform future decisions on lane allocations and targeted service.

Your new booking system is absolutely terrible! How can it be so inflexible that you cannot amend a booking? My sister gave birth so i had to reschedule but wasn't allowed and lost my money. Madness. - Time to find new courts.

Beautiful place to swim and enjoy. Great place to learn and become a potential Olympic swimmer. Lots of pools for all ages. Well maintained with professional lifeguards supervising and watching over the kids and adults. Great place to enjoy with family and friends.

We participated in a school program and it was terrible. Communication was lacking, the program changed on the day and the staff running activities didn't know what they were doing. A very disappointing visit.
