Sometimes I have the idea at the MediaMarkt that most employees do not really understand the electronics they sell. They can usually come up with a nice story but do not really explain. Furthermore, the store looks neat and the staff is friendly. The sales talks they have usually also work because I usually buy something when I walk into the store (sometimes something I did not really need)

After my order arrived a day late, the item turned out to be defective (probably because they managed to stuff a letterbox package with a computer mouse). After telephone contact I could exchange it for a new one and it was checked whether the item was in stock, which eventually turned out not to be the case and they could not solve it there by sending a new one or an equivalent item. to offer, so drove that way for nothing.
It is that it was partly paid with a gift card and that I have to order it again myself, but otherwise I would have ordered it through amazon.

You don't really see staff, they are busy with each other. In terms of tablets, they are almost all pre-programmed or there are only refurbished ones. If you ask for a tablet in an unopened box, they look very strange at you.

If you need something in the field of electronics or a refrigerator, microwave, etc., then it is always worth taking a look at the MediaMarkt. It is also nice to be able to view an article in the store instead of ordering it on the internet and having it delivered at home. At the MediaMarkt they often have interesting offers and are delivered free of charge. I wanted to buy a clipper this week and on the internet I came across one from Remington (HC5035 CouleurCut 16 parts) with good reviews and also an in-ear headphone from Sony (MDR-XB50AP with extra bass) that was also tested well. Both can be ordered via the internet but I still wanted to see these products. So I went to the MediaMarkt and came home with both products. Also because of the prices: the Remington 24.99 and the Sony 26.19. According to the seller, the in-ear headphones were also a good choice. Near the cash register were a number of beautiful electric scooters and not too expensive. It is a pity that you are not yet allowed on public roads. In that respect, the Netherlands is years behind because they are already permitted in other countries around us.

Refurbished items are normally cheaper everywhere, but not at the Mediamarkt in Hengelo

You will be well served here and a very wide range. Just think The CD department is getting less and less. Many titles are not available.

Not even worth 1 star. Customer service does not work for a meter. The account I have at mediamarkt does not work either. And now here I am with a MacBook that I recently bought that is not working properly. No contact with the Mediamarkt and therefore no solution. Bad thing, I recommend going to Amac. They have a much better customer service and also understand what they buy.

If you look outside of the listing and they are expensive

You can't even call them if you have a problem. Phone was repaired within warranty and screen and speaker are said to be new but not functioning properly. Again the phone should be lost for at least two weeks if I returned it. Speaker wasn't even wrong with it and they seem to have put in a worse one.

Losing your device for two weeks would not be a problem if you get a loan device, but unfortunately that is not the case.

Never a media market for us anymore ..
To almost 4 weeks have to wait for a freezer. We called for the 2x but again called. When we spoke to an employee who unfortunately did not know the Dutch language and had to repeat everything 3 times. If we have just ended the telephone conversation .. We will return our voucher to get our money back ....

You can do fine without all the other stores in the world in electronics. Ok, online you often find a slightly cheaper price, but you really do not throw away tons of money when you buy at Media Markt.
Great advantage, the enormous range, much better than any chain. Service is fine, exchange or return never nagging.
Quality is of paramount importance, great offers, good promotions with substantial discounts. Everything you can see, feel and try (well, almost everything) and staff is very knowledgeable and informed per department!

Saleswoman had to retrieve requested information from a tablet. The model I had in mind was only available online. Based on this, you can just as easily get the information from the internet yourself and order the model that you prefer. A physical store then adds nothing.

Actually review for the photography assistant. Experiences with knowledge and skills of MediaMarkt employees are normally not that positive.
No blah blah story and sales talk. Even showing the difference in quality and colors of photos from different devices through a site I don't know (dpreview.com).

Look closely at the prices. They are not always cheap. There are enough alternatives.

Needed a new PC. Received good advice and made ready for use.

Bcc is a good buyer and better with customer reserves

A lot of staff and they have no knowledge of it, we came for a coffee machine and at the end there were 3 people who didn't know anything and later went to Naarden at the coffee discounter for a coffee machine and clear explanation and free pack of coffee and 2 double-walled glasses in addition, they are really top notch and at the media market they only have to sell but don't know anything about it.

They have a very large assortment which is very nice but once you have a problem with a product it is wrong. If you call them, nobody answers, terribly annoying!

Employees are not exactly friendly and when you want to return something they quickly become very difficult. I prefer to order my products from the bcc next door considering that the employees there are a lot friendlier and they don't necessarily have to do it / they are happy to help you!

You will be told it is in stock at the central warehouse and that it will be delivered the next day.
