I had an appointment scheduled for 1:00 for a simple Covid test. I sat in my car until 3:00 before they took me in for the literal 2 minute swab. Scheduling management needs to be seriously evaluated at this location as the other reviews all seem to glaringly suggest.

I went there for a throat swab to make sure I didn't have strep. The "radiology tech" who took my vitals and performed the swab was extremely rude from beginning to end and did not tell me what to expect when she left the room so I was sitting there for about 15 minutes not knowing why I was even there at the time. Finally, the nurse practitioner came in, Brenda, and told me my results. Brenda was the saving grace throughout the whole experience and I told her how poorly the rad-tech treated me. I do not plan to ever go back.

This is not a professional establishment though they have new staff on the daily you might be lucky. They are just not knowledgeable. Take there time speaking their dirty western breath until you believe them. I've dealt with a few of these extremists, just to get in and out like, this is suppose to be. And it's like going to the dentist! I came in with a sinus infection and was told to go home and gargle it. I was not given any prescription until the manager came in the next day, and over ride the other doctors decision to send me home w/ nothing. They called me a few days later and I hung up on them just because dealing with them 3 times a week was overwhelming for me, trying to get better. That nite I was saved by a friend who had a Z-PACK in hand. So back to med express, I tried to go back there. Yes, I know silly me a few months later to get this pill for my back and they said I am banned from all med expresses. No problem, it was close and they have new people daily that work there. I don't approve of anyone I know to go there anyhow there are other places that are more friendly, and don't treat you like a disease. Lastly, I see these humans to get a rise from the position they state but there are uneducated, emotional, and unprofessional with ill motives. They juice the insurance companies these so called fake practitioners, hire more uneducated staff that are puppets on strings. Than within 5 years they move out to the sea and buy yachts and houses with your money because they say it's legal. This med express is growing chain on how to get rich quick and it's been going on for a decade now. They don't care who they hire because there already on vacation with your money Good luck

Dr. Sedlmeyer is so amazingly friendly, patient, and helpful. Medexpress is lucky to have a doctor like him. This is the second time I ve been seen at this location, and the staff both times has been incredibly friendly and wonderful listeners. Thank you!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Walked in at 7:40, the first thing the woman at the desk tells me is that they close in 20 mins so they may run out of time and I can't be helped. I then pull up a picture of my father's insurance card from my phone, which is what I've done at every single urgent care or doctor's office as far back as i can remember. The lady then tells me, no you have to e-mail me those pictures, which again, I've never had to do. I e-mail the pictures, just to be safe i also had my mother send pics as well. E-mails clearly went through but for some crazy reason Morgan couldn't retrive
any of the five e-mails my mother and I sent. It's now 7:54 and another women says we wont help you because we close in six minutes and even if we did get the e-mails it would be past 8pm. Throughout the entire time I was there they continuously mentioned that if the card cant be located I can pay out of pocket, which is funny because when money comes out of the pocket the clock is apperently no longer an issue. This place is horrendous, save your time, money and life by avoiding it at all costs.

Do not visit this MedExpress for a COVID test!
We made an appointment and still were not seen for AN HOUR after our appointment time.
.
.
They only take appointments the day of - which is their policy since they are not a COVID-only testing location. Fine. I called in the morning (the phone lines were busy for 1.5 hours) and made my appointment for 3:30pm. She asked what kind of vehicle I would be arriving in. When I got there, the signs say to call the phone number. It was busy again. After 5 minutes of the line being busy, we went inside. (We have no symptoms of COVID - we were getting tested only as a precaution to seeing immunocompromised family members.) They told us to go sit in our vehicle and call the number. I said "The lines have been busy. Now that you know we're here, do we still need to call?" "Yes."
We finally got through to the receptionist. She said someone would call us shortly to go through triage and get our info. We were waiting for 45 more minutes. My fiance called at 4:23 to complain about how long we were waiting. Someone called back at 4:27 and we were finally taken inside.
Once inside, the procedure was quick and they were very friendly and nice. But save yourself the hassle of busy phone lines and go to a MedExpress with a more efficient procedure.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Do not go here, your better off researching the internet or going to Walgreen's and speaking to the pharmacist. My wife was seen for back pain and they told her she was constipated, the next day the General Manager called back and told her that she had a kidney stone that the Dr. on duty missed in an x-ray. I went there for facial pain and they told me to go see the dentist which I had just been to the day before. Ended up going to Wedgewood Urgent care and they correctly referred me to a neurologist which it turned out I have trigeminal neuralgia. My daughter burnt her hand this evening and my wife took her to be seen there because they were the only urgent care in Morgantown open until 9pm. I called in advance because I knew they would get there at about 8:50 and they said they would see her if she was there by 9. My wife calls me at 8:53 and says, "They locked the door on my way in and said we close at 9 your too late to be seen", even though there were other people in the waiting room. Who does that to somebody let alone a 2 year old? What a joke of a medical center. If I were with her I would have waited for that lady to come outside and I'll leave it at that. GO anywhere but here.

If I could give this a rating to reflect the service it be to the negative...today...Brooke and Morgan refused service to a patient who had insurance information in hand and asked to be billed after insurance. Regardless of being private or not...MedExpress Urgent Care just refused service to this patient. This is a DISGRACE!! If this is any indication of the type of patient care provided...think before seeking medical attention from this poor excuse of an Urgent Care facility.

When I first moved into Morgantown I used this facility until I could get set up with a primary care physician. The front staff was friendly and my visits were usually under 30 minutes. The facility looks like a brand new construction and was always extremely clean during my visits. One thing I will say is that being an urgent care facility, the price to be examined is a little higher than with my primary physician.

I was somewhat reluctant to go to Med Express this afternoon but was pleasantly surprised by all the wonderful employees. The front desk staff was very professional and polite. The nurse, I m sorry I forgot her name but it began with a C, was really understanding and compassionate. The PA, Beth Edwards, was so kind to me. I wasn t feeling very well and she showed great patience listening to me list my symptoms and took the time to explain what she thought was going on and what should be done. Everyone I encountered was terrific. Thank you.

Went for a physical. After the staff debated whether it would cost $20 or $30 dollars I ended up paying $30. Everyone there knew that insurance doesn't cover physicals and I was told that was the total amount. A month later I get a collections letter saying that they decided to bill me an additional $50 and immediately send it to collections. I've experienced a low quality of service there before but that's almost expected when it's an urgent care and not your PCP or an ER. Now with billing shenanigans I'm just done with this place.

I write this review as i currently sit in the room awaiting for anyone to come in and check on me after being placed in a room. I am not one to complain but after sitting in the waiting room for 25 minutes. Then being called and placed in a room to sit by myself for a little over an hour now with no updates is a little frustrating. Point of the review is a common curtesy reminder, because not everyone handles waiting in a room for over an hour as well. Especially when told the doctor will be in shortly . Anyway glad i waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for a 5 minute talk to get a prescription called to CVS for poison ivy.

Do not use this facility unless you are paying cash at the time of service. They will not bill insurance, do not send out statements and then send you to the collection agency. This has happened on 2 occasions with me. I not only gave them my insurance card but also gave them my credit card to bill any co-pay requirements. They just sent a visit from 11/21/14 to collection for $293.00 and todays date is 08/11/2015. I have never received any written correspondence nor a telephone call prior to yesterdays mail notice from a collection agency. When this happened the last time and I called there for help, I got passed from one person to the next and no one could answer as to why the billing was not done and why I had to pay a collection agency for work they did not do. Do not go here would be my advice.

The girls at the front desk are all really nice at this location and they are always willing to answer any questions. All four of the doctors I have seen here were phenomenal doctors. They were kind, educated, easy to talk to, and most importantly great at their jobs! I would highly recommend coming to this location!

Love the staff and providers at this location! Got in and out super fast while receiving the compassionate care that I was looking for! I had some sort of rash and the Doctor took her time evaluating me and ended up writing me a prescription which took care of it! They definitely care for their patients and it shows! Would definitely recommend!

I have to say the people at MedExpress were very kind and very concerned and very thorough. Apparently it s not every day they get somebody and it s been bitten by a rabid groundhog. My thanks to them for sending me on up to Ruby ER To get the treatment I needed in the shots I needed for being bitten by a rabid animal

I usually don't bother giving Google reviews, but I checked the reviews for this one before I went and was afraid it was going to be a bad experience due to the previous reviews I had read, most of which are fairly old now. I was very happy with the service they provided. I had been experiencing significant upper back pain for about 10 days and after realizing it wasn't going to get better on its own, I decided to go to Med Express (on a Sunday) because I don't have a family physician and didn't want to take time off work during the week, plus the pain was getting to be unbearable.

The ladies at check in were very nice, and the place is still almost brand new and very clean, so I felt like it was a comfortable environment. I had to wait a little over an hour before they took me back, but they let me know that beforehand, and it's to be expected at any Urgent Care facility because it's walk-in only. After taking me back, the intake lady was all business, but she wasn't rude or anything. I then went to another room where I had to wait about 15 minutes before the doctor came in.

The doctor was very friendly, and he let me explain everything about the pain I was feeling and how it had progressed. He had me cross my arms a couple different ways while he checked my back and he immediately identified that I had a rib subluxation (my rib had been pulled out of place). He tried to help put it back into place but said the swelling was too severe for it to go all the way back in. He prescribed medications to reduce the inflammation as well as physical therapy. He said the rib should go back into place on its own but that I would benefit from physical therapy to strengthen the muscles to help prevent it from happening again.

I read in another review that someone was upset that they were billed for "urgent care". Med express IS an urgent care facility. They typically cost more than regular appointments with a general physician because they are walk-in only and their hours are usually pretty late, so you are paying partly for the convenience of it.

All in all, I was very satisfied with my experience and am happy to be the first person to give this place 5 stars.
