My daughter (who is 6) and I love this place. Learn and have fun. Even better since the Pizitz food hall opened across the street Get the membership, it's definitely a money saver.

Its cool and all but its got to be updated more for adults and not just kids. Grown-ups like science too!

Great learning experience and the IMAX theater is a great way to watch any movie.

We stayed for overnight adventure n had a great time. They had movie n stuff set up n kids loved it. Movie was same as last yr when went on field trip but still really good. Kids got to play till lights out n they did lol.The guy running it was awesome very friendly. Would like to see overnite theme that would b perfect. Def reccomend kids loved it..

My family and I loved it here I went on a overnight trip here it was amazing would recommend Pricey but worth it also get there early we thought we would get there late because we thought nothing much to do but we came back

Nice little center geared for children to learn about science. Awesome

The McWane Science Center is a great place to take children. My son is 5-1/2 and he played all day there. There are very many things to do for young and older kids. There are three stories in the building. The day we were there, craneworks had heavy equipment and a fire truck outside the building for all of the kids to play on and look at. Highly recommend this place.

The center itself was awesome. I was very disappointed in the way we were treated by the staff. They were rude and unfriendly the only person that showed good customer service was the lady working the ticket section and one of the subway employees. As much as we paid for admission and 3$ for a bottle of water i expected good customer service we will not be returning.

Always interesting events in exhibitions here. Love this place!

This is one of my children's favorite places to visit. Have made several trips here over the years and it's always been worth it. They have several interactive displays and there are loads of scientific excitements for your kids to do. If your kids are into science this place is definately a must.

The advantage was super amazing The company I work for had family fun day for the employees it was awesome my grandbaby had a nice time only reason for the 4 my grandbaby fell because of the water on the floor from the fountain with the blue balls it was very slippery area needs better support that's kid friendly

This science center was amazing. We were traveling through on our way back to CA and it is better then many of the center where I live. Tons of thing to do and dont miss the awesome Tesla Coil display. They didnt really advertise it but that was super cool.

Love this place. I have a 3, 4, and 5 year old. They love every level of mcwane and can not get enough in all the 4 hour visits we've had. Friendly staff.

Super neat place if u got a long lunch break .. Always adding new stimulating mind expanders , or you could call them interactive brain ticklers and exhibits

The big slide was closed when we went, so that was a bummer. Otherwise the kids loved it! Their favorite part was the Itty Bitty City. I wish older kids were allowed. Both of my girls were allowed in because my youngest is in Kindergarten... my 10 year old daughter had a blast in there!! She LOVED the Vet Clinic (she wants to be a vet when she is older)

There is a plethora of activities for children and adults . There is a cool kids city zone with a fire house, a home model, grocery store, car body shop and restaurant. There is also a nice sized jungle gym. The food is reasonably priced as well.

The exhibits are great if you can get to them. There are always several field trips when we go, and my kids don't get a turn to see the exhibits.

My family and I love spending the day here. Majority of the displays are interactive encouraging young ones (and some older ones) to learn new things. The McWane Center gave my son the spark to learn about science and now it's all he's interested in. I highly recommend a family day here. Grab lunch in the food court or look for one of the many great local restaurants very close by.

The McWane Center was cool. They did have a monitor in the lunch area that was rude and weird acting to the little children. They need to keep an eye on her. But other than that the kids had fun.

Great time with my 18 month old and even a play area for my 5 month old. Will definitely be back.

This is a wonderful place for the entire family inviting atmosphere very nice staff my family have visited twice everything is wonderful each member of my family always enjoys it.

Really brought out my inner nerd! Plan to stay for everything. Cafeteria has several options. Polite staff, clean facilities. Activities galore that engages the whole family. LOVED everything!! We'll be back for sure!

This was my first time at McWane customer service EXCELLENT and the entire adventure was amazing. Definitely thinking about becoming a member so I can come back with my little ones. My son had a field trip and I was a chaperone that's why I was visiting McWane today.

It was really fun. There was so much to see. I was surprised to see the fish exhibit with aquariums . The bird exhibit and all the science that was there was awesome. There is soooo much to do and its inexpensive. There is also an Imax on level 1 and an eating area. The food smelled so good. I didn't make it back to the food level in time to buy anything to eat. I enjoyed my experience

Great place to take your kids or grandkids each and every day. Great learning experience for the whole family. Lots of Hands-On activities.

I remember going to this place when i was in elementary school i enjoyed my field trip to here. I'm 20 now I'll defenitly will be be bring my son back here when he's 5.

It's always interesting because they change the exhibits often. Don't miss watching a movie in the dome because it's an amazing experience. A family membership is worth the investment.

This place is amazing! My kids always have a blast and never want to leave. The itty bitty city for kindergarten kids and younger is awesome! My 10 year old daughter was mad that she was too old to play in the jungle gym! I took my 1 year old son and my 6 and 10 year old daughters. Everyone had a great time! The 6 year old daughter did not want to leave. She sat on the stairs while she was pouring and asked if me "Can we just live here?" I don't think a single exhibit was unfunctional either. And for a children's museum that is rare. Hand sanitizer stations were abundant and the restrooms were immaculate. The kids have asked me if we could all go back tomorrow.

Great place to spend time with the family and learn about science. Staff was helpful and friendly. We got a membership so we can do it come again.

This is a good place to take smaller children as there are lots of activities for them to do and burn off a little energy. If you do not have little children to entertain then your best bet is to wait for one of the special exhibits to open up and go for it and then just look around the rest of the center afterwards.

My girl loved this. All of the staff we encountered was nice. Parking was slightly hectic, but it's the middle of downtown so it's understandable. We will be back

At least as good as the Orlando Science Center. They have a few of the same exhibits like "What is Nano" and few engineering demos are similar. They have a floor that has a medium size Aquarium of small tanks, touch-a-Ray and the Alabama Watershed. Don't miss the balance bike on the top floor. When we went the traveling exhibit was very cool "Design Zone". IMAX movies are not included (they are in Orlando) If you have a preK kid, you will get to access the best part of the Science Center and probably spend all day there, the itty bitty Magic City Childrens Museum. We were able to get in 5 people for free with our Orlando Science Center Membership but parking was $5 which was still totally worth it.

It was amazing my toddler and my 7 month old loved it. The itty bitty magic city is great for kids. We loved it too. Great for all ages even the adults. You even get to touch the sharks. They have everything from a little aquarium to a science show. Can't wait to go again. I would suggest eating before going or when you first get there bc the food court closes early and they don't stay stocked, most are self serve except Subway.

My kids absolutely love the McWayne Center!! We moved from Birmingham a few years ago and have kept the membership because they still want to go every chance we get.

Exceptional educational FAMILY oriented place. Age appropriate learning activities that are FUN! Even saw adults there enjoying the displays.

We enjoyed it. It was my granddaughter Birthday and she ran her down all over and I loved and watched her.

My 5 y/I daughter and I absolutelyhad a blast here!! We spent hours with the only trouble figuring out which adventure we wanted to embark on next! My personal favorite was on the top floor, where there's a projection of slithering shapes that you can move, push, and best of all, ninja slice in pieces, WITH YOUR SHADOW!!!
Cannot wait to return!

Fun place for the kids! So many science activities to keep them busy for hours and it's educational.

So many things for kids to do! We love coming everytime
