Service was good and came fairly quickly. The blackberry cider was very good. We only ordered salads, but all three were excellent. The atmosphere is very cool and laid back, and the service good. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

I loved the grounds and exploring all the restaurants. We tried wine at the tasting and loved the cidar. The soaking pool was great at night with a drink. Even enjoyed sitting out by one of the many fire pits. Because the place it old it is a little tough to sleep. Everytime someone in the next rooms walks or opens the door, the resulting creaking wood is quite loud. I would bring ear plugs next time.

Its a good venue very large and spread out and it makes it very easy to have a good time while also maintaining proper social distancing. I came for a birthday and have to say it was very nice

This place is so much fun! Truly a gem. With fantastic gardens top wander, golf corse, movie theater, artwork every where, in the summer they have great concerts, in the winter they have fire pits. Then the beautiful rooms in the hotel each have their own personality! Of course you should try the outdoor hot tub, and book a massage!

Like most McMenamins locations, Edgefield is pretty great. The outdoor seating area near the Little Red Shed is a great place to sit and relax on a nice day and also great at night with the fire pits if you either stay longer than expected or want to come a little later in the day (particularly as the number of hours of sunlight gets lower in the fall). Just remember that the Shed closes at 10pm.

Beautiful venue with exotic gardens and multiple ways to enjoy: Full-service spa, restaurants, wine & beer bars, concerts, hotel (haunted), events, and more. Come for a week or come for a few hours. Love this place! Must say parking can be a hassle.

Fabulous gem worth leaving Portland for! Start a night a definitely bring a bathing suit; Ruby's Spa with the outdoor, heated, soaking pool with walk to bar is a place to unwind. Hit dinner at the Black Rabbit, and breakfast, too. If you like specialty cocktails, be sure to visit both the Power Station and the Black Rabbit Bar as they have different and tasty options. If you want to try some wine, grab a flight or two at the a winery. There's a lot to do, or you can choose to do nothing and stop drink some coffee on a quiet porch. One thing is certain, though; there is something here for everyone.

My room #20 in the hallway is insanely loud. It has only one window, which goes out to the porch where people are sitting and talking next to my pillow. The doors slam every time someone goes onto the porch. I can hear every individual word of every person walking by. There is not enough light in my room to put make up on. The shared bathrooms are strewn with trash and used ice buckets. Wow. Never ever again.

You definitely need to make a day of exploring this wondrous place. It's just one of many super unique properties. Having a map is a must, otherwise you are doing yourself a disservice. When there are concerts, this place gets incredibly packed to the point where you have to park way down the street.

We arrived when the dining room was closed but were able to get something to eat in the bar. Not alot of seating but apparently there are other places to eat on the property but no one shared this with us. The bar menu was limited but we ordered the chicken sandwich and the bolognese both were excellent. We don't drink but if you love beer this looks like the place to be!

The Edgefield is the crown jewel of the McMenamin brothers' brewpub empire, and is well worth a visit if you're in the area. Great beer, delicious food, good company, beautiful grounds, and lavish amenities available. I've heard it described as 'Disneyland for adults,' and I wouldn't dispute that- there's always something to do, hear, and see.

Beautiful building and grounds. A delight to eat at and walk around and explore.
When I went to the bar there was a big Pyrenees and the owner let me pet him.
10/10 would to and eat and drink and pet that big fluffy dog again.

Beautiful property! The bed was not the most comfortable, but we had an excellent experience despite. Wonderful dinner at the black rabbit bar with excellent service from the bartenders.

If I could leave a lower rating I would. Literally the WORST concert venue ever. Extremely disorganized. Crowd management staff does absolutely nothing and parking will take you 2 hours to get out of. Not to mention a beer will cost you almost $10. You d think after paying almost $200 for 2 tickets they d care a bit more about their customers. It s a cute venue but definitely not worth it.

Lovely, it's an adult Harry Potter experience. The food is good, beer, booze and wine are great. Friendly staff and enchanting grounds. Every detail is taken to heart when the decorating was happening. I love this place.

My favorite place ever. It s a little village. Several restaurants all over, several bars. A movie theater. A winery. Glass blowing. A golf coarse. Live music. A hotel. Beautiful gardens all over. Just so amazing

Love this place for concerts or just going to hang out and have a drink at one of their many, many bars. This McMenamins has one of the best atmospheres, I my opinion. I have not stayed a night here though, but I hope to do it in the future.

This eccentric place to stay is my favorite. The smoking pool and spa, the restaurants, the beer wine and entertainment makes it so that you don t have to leave the grounds all weekend. As long as you are ok sharing a bathroom I promise you will love this place.

McMenamins Edgefield is a great location for dinner, drinks, or event host a more formal event. They have multiple bars where you can grab drinks and food, or if you want something more formal you can eat at the black rabbit restaurant. This McMenamins location is also a hotel, where you can book your stay and enjoy the soaking pool. They also have a small golf course, a brewery, a distillery, and winery all in the same property.
