First impression of the hotel not great, upon arriving your welcomed with a table of The Sun newspapers. Hotel is in a great location for future business but appears to think The Sun is an acceptable newspaper...

Room was very comfortable, bathroom very dated, shower only worked when the bath was also running. Your then shown a sign about re-using your towels to save water... the irony.

Was there to attend a Google interview: perfect service, great hotel! Btw, if you forgot plug converter: ask the reception, they do have some (or also have some for 5$ in vending machines).

Floodlights in the window *all* night, no usable sockets and broken TV. Avoid

(Followup: since someone from the hotel has replied to this and taken it upon herself to just point-blank *lie* because this is a public forum, I am only sad that I can't give it no stars at all. Stop lying.)

Second time staying here for hotel/theatre deal. Lovely pre theatre dinner. Also were told on arrival we had an upgrade to a suite. Great location for bord gais. 10 minute walk. Staff very pleasant. Recommend & would stay again

The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly. It is great that you can check out until 12:00 noon. The room has huge, comfortable beds. In the room there is also "complementary" water, tea maker with tea and coffee machine with Lavazza capsule coffee. In the hotel lobby there is a coffee bar with a selection of smaller dishes and various beverages, as well as a pub connected with a connecting door. In about 20 minutes you can easily walk to the center of Dublin.

Clean room, great location to the tech companies around. Updated interior, much nicer than some of the other apartments -> hotels. I would recommend others to stay in the hotel. Only reason for 1 star off is due to the lack of AC. Which could leave the room a bit humid when raining.

Everything was great. Lovely hotel. Lovely breakfast. Great location. One grievance I did have was charging us 10.00 to park the car overnight after my wife and I and my cousin and his wife paying out 472.00 for 1 nights bed and breakfast. I thought it was terrible bad form (policy or not). When I mentioned it to the guy at reception he couldn't even look at me as he just didn't want to know. Pity really as I won't be returning over a petty little 10.00 and it wasn't my first time staying there either.

First time I have stayed there. Part of a translink package to a show in Bord Gais theatre. Staff very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Bedroom very good and food was fine too. Would stay there again.

Regular weekday staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel itself dated and needed repairs. Hallway to room dirty. Small room with too much furniture. Cant close bathroom door, sink has cracks....Opt to have breakfast included if you stay there. Big buffet which is worthwhile.

Just had food there the girl drop the chips onto the table just look and said sorry then when we said something she offered to get more chips which we didn't get . I ask for a bowl of carrots and potatoes for my grandson came out with a bowl of carrots and potatoes sweet corn and what the girl said were yellow carrots .sweet potato chips Luke warn. For the money not great and the place was not even busy and we drink there a lot.

Housekeeping walked into my room without knocking then ran away laughing when they saw I was in it. The tub has hair in it that's not mine. Only the deluxe rooms and above have AC so they brought me a fan. The satellite channels weren't working but they were very helpful in trying to get that fixed.

Stayed here for work. Room wasnt totally clean when I arrived (previous guest's trash still in bin...yikes) and the ambiance was a little drab. They also charged me for a power adapter which I guess is par for the course these days, but come on. Service was friendly though, and breakfast downstairs was great. The bar next door is also worth checking out. Overall I guess I'd stay here again because it's close to my office, but I won't exactly be writing home about it.

I've tried about ten hotels in the area and this is my favorite. I like the fact that at breakfast you don't sit in a huge room with an echo and have to wait in line for your bread. Everything is very relaxed in this hotel, there are enough staff and everyone is very attentive.
The rooms are very modern and I also like that you can find a bathrobe in the room.
The shower was very annoying, such a pipe in the wall, I couldn't adapt.

Ok hotel the rooms are just everything you need. Nothing fancy though. Breakfast is great! It also has a gym. Only thing is the duvet in the bed is small. I woke up with a sore throat every day and am sick now.

We arrived in Dublin after an overnight flight, and we were exhausted. The gentleman at the front desk was super nice and let us check in early so we could rest. Would definitely stay here again.Room was also nice. We would stay here again, no doubt.

Stayed here for many months for work, it was my go to hotel in Dublin and always a great shame if it was unavailable. John on the front desk always made me feel very welcome and he was the reason I changed from my initial favourite hotel to the Grand Canal, the power of good customer service.

Perfectly good, though basic, rooms, and a friendly staff... but their Wi-Fi service is pretty much unusable. In May, 2012 they just switched from a marginal provider (BTOpenZone) to a new one that's awful: it disconnects and requires you to login with a password after even very short periods of inactivity, and is very slow--not even enough bandwidth to watch YouTube videos. The Wi-Fi is free... but these days it's usually free at most hotels--and actually works at them, too, unlike this hotel's, unfortunately.
