Hate to have to do it but I am totally off put by ...

Hate to have to do it but I am totally off put by being ignored. I got some work done on my car and one of the items being taken care of was a wheel speed sensor. I asked my service advisor ,BJ, to give me an estimate to replace a wheel speed sensor. I told him I had the part sitting in my passenger seat. After I left a few hours later he tells me the price to replace it and I told him I wanted it to get replaced and reiterated my part was on my passenger seat in a box.

He texts me a few hours later letting me know that the part was the wrong part for my car and told me that the price of the part from them. I told him I did not want to get the wheel speed sensor done today because I wanted to get the right part since I get them at wholesale price. He lets me know they replaced it anyway because he wanted my car done today since the technician wouldn't be able to work on my car the next day. Which I understand where he is coming from there.

I go to pick up my car a few days later since he projected a few days for it to be done and that is what I planned for. I got home and was curious to see why my sensor was not correct. I go and look at my invoice and see that the part numbers are exactly the same. Instantly perturbed I call the dealership. I ask to speak to a service manager and none were available so I left a message to the assistant service manager. Letting them know I want to give them my perfectly new OEM part that was supposed to be in my car for a refund of the part they had no reason in charging me for. About 5 or 6 hours later in the day with no response I call the dealership again and speak to someone in service and explain my situation to her. She told me she made a note and let me know she would let one of the service managers know.

The next day goes by and radio silence. I call again and leave another voicemail and have yet to hear anything. If I didn't live almost an hour and a half away I would just go there in person but I think that is something I am going to have to do. I only come here because I bought my car here and it has the lifetime warranty. They honored that part of my service repair perfectly fine but the other aspect pertaining to the wheel speed sensor is ridiculous.

Update
BJ got in touch with me this morning and rectified the situation. He explained they are a high volume dealership and I was not forgotten about. It still would have been nice if a service manager got in touch with me though.

I was honestly without a/c in my 2016 Silverado truck for 2 years because i was so afriad the cost of repair would be too overwhelming. Tim shaw changed my fear to happiness! It was almost like he took me under his wing and said hey... "this is a family business.. anyone that enters our doors become family... and we take care of our family." Tim looked at me and said, "let me have one of my expert mechanics take a quick peek at your truck, i think it may not be as bad as you fear." Sure enough. The prognosis wasn't bad at all, and Tim gave me an estimate. I agreed, and the repair was not only within my budget, but I have to say, Tim made me realize why Mccluskey has been in business for so long.. its the character of your business and the team members you have working at Mccluskey. i will never trust my vehicles to anyone else but Mccluskey from this day forward! Thank you Tim, and thank you Mccluskey chevrolet for all your help and reassurance... i am now driving my Silverado truck with a/c again!!

Let me first start off by saying that I had to make some changes in my life that required me to make a big decision that would have a lasting affect on my credit profile. We currently live in a world of uncertainty where your next paycheck could be your last paycheck. With that being said I was in a car that was basically upside down, 5 years old and 2.5 more years to go until it was paid off. But I was making it happen (struggling of course) because I thought I had no other choice if I wanted to be able to get back & forth to both of my jobs and have transportation for my children. That was until I heard Glen Schuchart's calming voice on the other end of my phone line reassuring me that everything would be ok and that I could get into another vehicle with lower payments. The process was smooth, simple and quick. When your finances take a hit and you're forced to make life decisions that you thought you would never have to make, it can become very overwhelming and the last thing you need is someone telling you NO thats not possible or trying to force your hand on something you don't want. I experienced none of that with Glen. He requested info, I provided and he made the magic happen. I will soon be the proud owner of a vehicle NEWER then my current vehicle with low miles, AND WITH A LOWER CAR PAYMENT!!! The key is not to question when one door is closing but to be thankful when the next one opens. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU GLEN & McCLUSKEY CHEVROLET

I had to spend an extended amount of time while my Cruze was diagnosed for some warranty repairs, but I had snacks to eat, coffee to drink, really nice people to talk to and one of the nicest auto dealer lobbies that I have ever seen. When I left, my car was performing like it was when it rolled off the showroom floor. I was delighted! The time went by really quickly and you can be sure that in the future I will continue to give McCluskey Chevrolet my business. Thanks are especially in order for their most gracious hospitality! As a former manager in both the restaurant and retail industries, I have a critical eye for how customers are treated by employees. This dealership surpassed all my expectations in that regard and they have good reason to be proud of their staff. If it was up to me, I d tell them all they could go home early this week!

18 year old Suburban purchased new in 2002. It's in pretty good shape (only 110k miles) in general however,...things do wear out unfortunately. Fixed one problem last week only to reveal a more serious and expensive one. Being repaired now. Dealer provided a free loaner and discounted price on the repairs...wasn't obligated to do either. Been dealing with the dealers at this same location thru three different owners since the late '80s. McCluskey is the best of the three by a mile. Very customer oriented dealership.

There was a general lack of communication. In Parts, I had to call back several times to get a price and availability; despite being told that I would hear back from McClusky by a specific day. Then in service, there was a price discrepancy between what I was quoted over the phone and what I was billed. Plus service wasn't entirely sure what service they were to perform, hitch plus wiring.

Now I have another service apt scheduled, because there is a strange noise coming from the rear of the passenger compartment every time I use the Right Turn Signal.

I have been in contact with my service advisor regarding this issue and continue to wait for his reply...the service tech gave me an estimate to repair my vehicle for over $900. I took my car to my local mechanic, who completely contradicted what the McCluskey tech said was wrong with my car. The tech said there was substantial corrosion of intake and output lines of my coolant system, a repair that is not part of the power train warranty. I was told that this required an immediate repair and that I should not be driving my vehicle until it was fixed. Scare tactics don't work with me. My mechanic looked and the vehicle and tested the coolant lines under pressure. He found a very small leak in the turbo-charger, something my mechanic said should be a part of the power-train warranty. He said the leak was not substantial, there was no corrosion and that my car was fine to drive as long as I monitored the coolant levels and car temperatures. He indicated that the leak was so slight, that it would take quite a bit of time to leak out all of the radiator fluid. It seems that you have trained your technicians to lie to your customers, in hopes of avoiding a no-cost repair included in the power train warranty that was shoved down my throat when I bought the car. If this is your best practice, you just lost a customer and I will be contacting the BBB to report your organization if you don't make this right.

First of all I ended up with a sales man who worked at Galbraith road.!
I felt somewhat pressured . The senecio kept changing. We would reach an agreed amount of dollars , then the salesman would check with some one and then he could not find the. Car or the dollars changed .
I did not get the different operations of the car fully explained to me. I had to go to.Galbriaith to see some one.
I did not get the sheet that is usually on the side of the window that explains all the details of the car every thing ithe car has on it.
Now I am trying to retrieve my house key from the fob and I have to do the contacting .
Your facility is nice and your people are very friendly I met at the showroom.
Do not know why I was fixed up with used car salesmen.

My husband and I recently bought a car from Scott P from the Kings Auto mall in Cincinnati (Fields Ertle rd) We told him what we were looking for to fit our family and he had the perfect car ready for us. We live an hour and half away and he worked with us over the phone and email. When we picked the car up he was very personable and had us in and out with no wait! I love the vehicle. Very dissatisfied with the customer service. When I received the vehicle it had a low tire indicator on the dash. I contacted the salesperson after pulling the tire and seeing that the passenger rear wheel was bent. They said they would fix the problem with the wheel I got it back almost a week later. Still has a slow leak it just takes a week for the indicator light to come on now.

I originally chose McCluskey due to the proximity to my home. I ll deal with the inconvenience and go back to the dealer where I purchased the vehicle next time. I went for an oil change, and didn t have time to review the owners manual maintenance schedule before going in (I typically do). Shame on me, I won t make that mistake again either. The Service Rep told me that two services were recommended for the current mileage. I asked if they were recommended by the manufacturer, that I usually go by the manual, and he said yes. So I agreed to the services that cost me $200, only to find out that the owners manual does not recommend these services for another 15,000 miles based on the type of driving we do. That is at least another year out. I do not like being lied to, and feel this dealer is dishonest. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else.

If I could leave a 0 star I would. The first time I have my wife go without me and the service department walks all over her.

Their website doesn't state service is closed at any time during the day. Yes, I understand they are required to take a lunch but it solves be staggered in my opinion.

Any way, took 2.5 hours for the entire ordeal. Oil change, tire rotation and they patched a tire. I was even on video chat with her before 1 (the end of their lunch break) when the intake gentleman informed her of the patch job needed.

The intake guy said the reason it didn't qualify for a free oil change and tire rotation was because there was no appointment. Explained to him we've never had an appointment and he says he doesn't know what to tell us. Think his name was DJ.

Then talk to a "Manager" Jeremy who was extremely rude and changed the story completely to "well we didn't get to the car until after 1" but how did they know about the nail in the tire before 1 if they didn't get to it until after 1???

Either way, the tone of the entire conversation was extremely unprofessional. Prior to a "man" talking to them they say they were talking to my wife was discriminatory. A female doesn't know what she's talking about? Get the hell out of here.

We'll be taking our money elsewhere, simple fix.

We had some issues with a used car we purchased from McCluskey. We purchased the extended warranty and there was an issue with a part working correctly (ECM, no longer made new so had to get a used one reprogrammed). After several attempts, the car is running again. Our service advisor, Jeremy H, was very professional and kept us up-to-date during each repair. I am very impressed with McCluskey and their business model.

I do not know where to begin, this was by far the most professional car business I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Tyler Rhoads and Scott Peeler treated us like real human beings. The entire process of getting our vehicle was smooth and without a doubt one of the best car experiences we have ever had. We drove 2.5 hours for this deal. In the future when we need another vehicle we will spend that time and more if need be to go back to McCluskey. Thanks for our New Terrain!

Absolutely awful experience. We purchased a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan on Saturday. The interior detailing was done by someone who could be blind, the oil change alert is on, and I was promised a 2nd key which of course "can't be found" now that the financing has been done. We sat in the dealership for 5 hours to purchase this vehicle and once they get you to sign the papers they want nothing to do with you. I have called 3 times and text our sales rep Austin 3 times and of course nobody has reached out. We are taking the vehicle back and going somewhere else.

Chris Simpson one of the great consultant help us fix the engine light problem right before our big road trip down south. He stay behind, make sure our car is good, literally save the day. The place is clean and they have complimentary snacks and drinks and my 4 year old loves coming here. We bought our vehicle here and get it serviced here and they always do a great job! I scheduled an appointment to have my truck bed Rhino lined. I also ordered running boards from your parts department so I could have them installed during the same visit.
When I arrived to have the work done, I discovered that the running boards had not been ordered and there was no record of my order.
The Rhino lining turned out fine. However, they did get some splatter on the paint song the bottom of my rear window.

When my niece was in an minor accident, her car was not only repaired to like new condition, but they made the transition so smooth for her it was crazy. Purchased a new car today from here. Was really nervous about the entire process being a first time new car buyer, but when my girlfriend and I were met by Hannah our experience was top notch. She was super friendly and helped us through the entire process. She was also able to direct me to their insurance department where Josh was able to redo my entire insurance plan and set me up with two cars and renters for less than I was paying for a single vehicle. By the end of the day I was super impressed with their care and help they gave us. Ron was also super helpful explaining everything I signed and not leaving out any details. Top notch service for sure. Look forward to bumping into these people at routine maintenance checks!

Service was good, but I was in during the Spring and was concerned with the lack of employees wearing masks, wearing masks incorrectly, and one person had on a Halloween mask. This time, while I saw no Halloween mask, some employees were still wearing no mask, many had them pulled down on their chins, or their nose exposed. People are dying from COVID-19 and I don't feel McCluskey really cares, as your commercial states.

They immediately greeted me, offered us snacks and refreshments, and then showed us what was available based on my requirements in a vehicle. Very friendly staff, quick, and honest.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
I would not reccomend them to my worst enemy. After spending hours making me wait around on multiple days, I never found a car I wanted, they forced me to run my credit and sent it to over 100 credit companies. My credit score dropped 60 points within the week. I visited here 8 weeks ago and I am still getting letters from credit companies literally every single day denying or accepting a loan for mccluskey Chevrolet I really wish someone would have told me this first!!!!.
On top of that my salesman was extremely unprofessional and make me very uncomfortable multiple times in between degrading me and telling me lies.
DO NOT GO HERE.

I highly recommend McCluskey Chevrolet, we just purchased our fourth car this week from them, I have never been very enthusiastic about buying cars but I definitely enjoy the experience at McCluskey. They have an amazing facility all the way from the Starbucks inside to the warm and friendly atmosphere! I can t say enough about our salesman Brad Pope, he went above and beyond to accommodate us and to make us happy! We will definitely be back for our next car purchase!

Then she tried to say we were swindling her we were the ones trying to buy a car! We left and went somewhere else. She messaged us a couple days later and we told her we went somewhere else. Horrible selling tactics.

This is my first time buying from Mccluskey Chevrolet and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a dealership. I went to other dealerships and didn't feel as welcomed. Ryan V. At the Reading location was fantastic!! The whole buying process was great and went so smooth no stress at all. I actually bought a Dodge at Mccluskey not a the Dodge dealership because of the great price,great customer service and overall great experience.

I purchased a 2015 challenger from the kings auto ...

I purchased a 2015 challenger from the kings auto mall location may 1 2020. The date today is may 16 2020, just had to have the windows re-tinted on may 14 due to they were illegal based on the state laws I was fine with having it re-done because I liked the tint on it. The following day After paying almost 400 for this i went to turn on the ac due to not being able to roll the windows down because the tint has to cure. The ac would not put any cold air out I began to start making calls to try and have this taken care of. I received a text from the man who sold me the car I explained what was going on, he told me to bring it in for there service dept. to take a look. I then told him I would bring it but I didn't want to bring it in and get a bill for repairs, he told me to let him speak with his manager. I got a message back a few min later to bring it in and they'll get it taken care of. Got there just after they opened told the person I delt with in service it was the ac and had spoke with my salesman they said bring it and it would be taken care of. He told me it would take an hour to look and see, after 2 hours he comes and says everything is fine they put die in to see if there is a leak and I could come back to have it checked and offered to wash car for bringing it in and they would be pulling it around. 30 min. later he then comes back and says oh yeah there's a bad leak it's the condenser and needs replaced and they are getting a quote together. I then told him I shouldn't be receiving a bill because I had spoke to my sales guy and he said it would be took care of after the man argued with me that I bought a 5 year old car and things are going to happen. I said I just wanted my car back and I would be contacting my sales guy he said fine then proceeded to tell me I needed to get a warranty for this. I told him after two weeks of owning the car and just turning ac on and it not working it should have never left the lot that way for the price I am paying then tells me well you could have slung debris and damaged it. I told him I only use it for work and that it is only 20 miles a day. I then massaged my sales guy and he replied working on it, he then runs over to the service dep. to tell me it would be taken care of they just needed to get the hose to fix it I told him they told me the condenser he said no they told him the hose. Waited another 25 min. and the service guy comes to get me and continued on about a warranty and the charge for what I needed was over 700, never got any exit paperwork no car wash and very sketchy service. I messaged my sales guy and told him I didn't receive anything from them and frankly felt they couldn't wait to get me out of there he said they would let him know when the part is in and he would let me know when to bring it. We will see how long this takes to resolve let alone to even have the trust to bring the car back there after catching there service person trying to pull one over on me. My sales guy has been great I won't say his name because i don't think its fair to do that without his permission but he needs a raise for doing great at his job and pulling the weight for there service dept. you read reviews and think was it really that bad and I can say from personal experience I now can say it's not just people adding to the terror of their experience these things can be real be careful when dealing with there service dept. Not everyone is out to do the right thing always and your company needs to invest in performance improvement courses for there service dept. JUST SAYING!!
