McCall's Pumpkin Patch Review

This years experience was much better , we did go on the last weekend . I'm sure timing is everything, much more enjoyable for the whole family

Took my grand sons there last Fall and they had a blast. So many activities for the kids to do. The corn maze was fun for all of us and the boys loved the corn cannons, pumpkin cannon, and pedal carts. I thought the farm was a wonderful way to spend a day with my grand sons and very reasonable for the amount of fun they had. We found plenty of good food available at good prices. I plan to take them back next fall.

Let me be clear, I *LOVE* McCall's - it's an annual tradition, but when we bought our tickets online, we assumed they would be limiting the number of guests allowed in. They weren't; there were hundreds of people there (way more crowded than Covid-free years, as no one was in the fields), cashiers touching your money/cards and handling your food without gloves/disinfecting, guests not wearing their masks correctly or adhering to social distancing at all, kids without masks everywhere. It was a hot mess. We got two things, disinfected ourselves, and left. What a waste of money. There's absolutely no way they were abiding by occupancy guidelines.

I love McCall's. My family and I have been coming here for the last 10 years. It's our tradition and we look forward to it every year. It's definitely a bit pricy but, worth it. There are many free activities and some that cost money.

We have taken our boys here for years. We always have a great experience.

This is the best Fall attraction around and our grandchildren love it.

Great place to bring a kid! We don't have kids but it was still a good time. We didn't have to wait in line much but some things cost in addition to admission. Our favorite was the apple Canon, $5 for 7 apples or $8 for 14. Super fun place and nice to have some normalcy. I did see a couple staff members and customers not wearing masks though. Hopefully they can do better controlling that. The pumpkins were very affordably priced.

Love the place as a kid and it was awesome going back now as an adult taking my niece there for the first time awesome place for the family to go and have fun

My husband and I visited this pumpkin patch for the first time and we loved it! Many of the attractions are geared for younger children, but we really enjoyed our time! The hayride out to the pumpkin patch is great. They have wheelbarrows at the end of the hayride for you to take your pumpkins to your car. You then are welcome to come back into the patch. The corn maze is great! They have a short, medium, and long trail. It's definitely a place to check out!

The lack of crowd control at this place is not worth it. Huge lack of traffic control in every way, hardly any staff out there helping. It was the most packed I had ever seen this place and they didn't know how to handle it. When it was time to leave at 6, we waited an hour in our cars to even start moving out of our parking spaces. Drivers were getting upset and acting crazy- putting all of our safety at risk. People who could have had health problems were stuck and could not get out because McCall's was allowing people in for the late night halloween event, but had us in a deadlock getting out. They only care about the people coming in who are going to spend money, the ones who already had were left for dead. People were moody at this event because they have attitude problems and because of the lack of crown control. People were everywhere and very out of control. The bathrooms were unsanitary, lack of places to wash your hands, no TP, filthy and backed up, and horrendous lines. I will never be back. I paid over $17 to get in and drove a long ways out here, it was not worth it. Don't come here!!!!

Long wait but at least you do not have wait in a line. Kids were TERRIFIED but loved it. Great fun, will go again. TIP: Eat before you go and Dress warm.

So much fun you can pick your own pumpkin go on a maze feed the goats to seeing pretty princesses in the castle so much to do

Interesting place, basically a little amusement park. I can see how people can give it 5 stars. If you go early in the season (staff still enthusiastic, pumpkins fresh), are lucky with the weather, and not go on a crowded day, you could really have a great time. There is lots to do and the food is decent. We went at the end of their season on a windy day. The latter was constantly blowing dust in our faces, it was crowded, the staff was kind of just there, not really friendly and saying their safety instructions in a way that was hard to hear. The pumpkins were a disappointment as they seemed to be all more or less in a state of rotting. All in all Ok though.

Have always had a great and memorable time at McCall's! Love it! Always have to pay a visit when the season starts! Definitely a high point of my fall season!

Fun place affordable attractions and lotta poke stops for you Pokemon go fans and I went in the day can't wait to try the haunting times

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!
I purchased 2 tickets for Friday 10/04/19, and the haunted houses got cancelled due to rain. I did not receive the email until 7pm Friday. The email stated following dates that I could use my tickets but I was not able to attend those dates. I spoke to Mr. McCall and requested a refund and he said "Absolutely not, I have accommodated you by allowing you to come on the more expensive days." Which I could not do. He refused to refund me the money. He went on to say that maybe he should of just left the event open, I could of went in my galoshes fall crack my head and then sue him. I was astonished by his behavior. I told him that I guess I would go this Saturday, and he said "Knock yourself out, it will be busy!!"
Extremely rude person, especially for dealing with the public.

This has been a family tradition for the past few years. Great for kids, tons of activities and the corn maze changes every year.

While a bit expensive, provided something for everyone and a great deal of fun for kids.

My son and I went with his Elementary School yesterday and it was so much fun. We just loved everything about Mccalls'. I would recommend that everyone go up there at least once every year. Awesome!!!

A lot of fun for a family outing. Not super great to live next to.

We went for the Halloween events. The corn maze and slaughter house were very fun and well done. Get the vip pass as wait times are very long.

Plenty of things to do just give yourself more than 3+ hours to do everything

My husband and I had SO much fun this afternoon at McCall s! Lots of parking and was easy to navigate with all of the traffic control personnel. We don t have children, but this would be such an amazing place to take kids! SO many pumpkins to chose from, yummy apple cider slushies, and the apple launcher was a blast! We will be making McCall s a fall family tradition!

We love coming to McCall's and it has become a family tradition. We couldn't make it last year and went to a local patch... What a disappointment for all of us. Never again! My daughter looks forward to going every year and starts to count down the days until we can go! Thank you for making it such a great place to go in the Fall!

Take the kids! Much to do. Turkey Legs, need I say more?

Pricey but a lot of fun, make sure you go early so you have time to do everything!

Great fun for the entire family. My 6 year old daughter loves going every year since we started going two years ago. she enjoys all the fun stuff there is to do, especially the jumping pit, and can't wait til she's older so she can experience the haunted farm as well. Thanks for providing such great fun for our family. We will be back.

I was extremely disappointed with our field trip to McCall's Pumpkin Patch. Out hayride led us to a field that was filled with nothing but small, rotted pumpkins. Additionally, many of the features such as the jumpers and the bikes were closed down for the day. I was looking forward to the BBQ sandwich for lunch. The food menu was cut in half. It's not worth going all the way over there at a discounted field trip rate for lesser of an experience!

Excellent parking organization, lots of fun things to do, but a bit pricey.

The Bakery has the most amazing, homemade, and delicious desserts. They have the most buttery and beautifully decorated frosted cookies that are not too sweet and melt in your mouth! The cream cheese topped pumpkin pies and the brownies were to die for! If you are at McCall's you must check out the Bakery.

You've gotta experience their haunted farm. Best in NM!

This is the best pumpkin patch I've ever been to and my family looks forward to the trip up every year.

Any normal year I would have reviewed higher. But after attempting to visit this weekend out of self care hoping McCalls would have followed COVID 19 state protocols that review immediately dropped. Just as my feeling of being safe did, after seeing the enormous crowd this weekend that were not social distancing or wearing masks. This is not okay and I hope the state does something about this to keep the rest of the state that plans on going safe. If you take your health and COVID protocols seriously do not attend you will be disappointed.

I have never been, was attempting to buy tickets online. They charged my account and I have no way to print the tickets or get them electronically. ( I accidently put my home number instead of my cell) Now I cant get a hold of anyone to speak to in person.

This is the 2nd year we've come and it's going to become a tradition. Good family fun, they are always expanding making it super enjoyable. Highly recommend it!

Lots and lots of stuff to do before you take the hayride and pick out some pumpkins! Listen closely to the cost before you start picking, they can get pricey. Lots of little gourds & pumpkins available in the store if you don't need anything large.

I love McCalls! I haven't been in two years but recently went with my son and he loved it just as much. He loved the hay ride and getting his own pumpkin. My favorite fall activity, worth the money.

Worst experience out of all the years I ve come to the haunted house. Bought tickets at 7pm and was told and the ticket booth that it would be a total wait of 2.5 hours and now they have only moved one ticket number since we arrived and they told us it will be around three more hours of waiting. 5.5 hours of waiting is ridiculous and especially when it was advertised as half the wait to begin with! And no refunds are available, we are very disappointed to say the least

Got a sasparilla and a pumpkin, had some fun in the castle. Great place to take the family.

Fun place to let my daughter run around. Princess castle was a little disappointing in terms of activities. We have never eaten there other than an ice cream cone otherwise fun time for all.

Pretty cool. Lots to do. Got 9 pumpkins for 37 bucks. Tons of people there though. I thought with the covid thing going on it's a bit out of control.

I love this place. I have been to the haunted farm and the pumpkin patch and it is always an amazing time. I hope to make it back this year!

Went to check it out definitely not adhering to any safety or covid standards. Sad I guess if you're in it for the money everything else goes out the door. I have been there before and have enjoyed it immensely but come on man you have got to care about the well being of the general public, your employees and the volunteers. So sad.

McCall's is the best place in the near-Albuquerque Metro area, to have a farm and pumpkin patch experience! We have taken each of our babies there since they were born; now they are 6, 3 1/2, and 17 months. It is fun for all ages! The little ones' eyes fill with wonder and delight as they take the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch and search for their own pumpkins! They also love the cow train (pulled by a riding lawn mower), the corn bin, the petting zoo, and the maize maze. It's become our family's fall tradition!

I gave one star because I cannot give zero. Went night of 10/28, they have a card system for allowing people into haunted house and mazes, nothing to do until your card comes up except eat substandard food and look in country store. We waited an hour and a half, paid 120$ for four people and got nothing. They were still not close to our number. No refunds. I can only believe this is popular because there is nothing else around. I give them a big boo and negative stars. $120 bucks for nothing!

We had a lot of fun! We loved the new card system, no more long lines! We were in at 7:30 and out by 9:30. We did all 3. The Barn was the best. I do not recommend Curtain Chaos, it was so boring, saw nothing, over in 1 min.
Other than that it had good food, fun place. Worth it to us.

Agreed with Mcalls is always blast. However I was pretty disappointed in the following covid guidelines. They do say upon entry you must wear a mask. Although once inside this was not really enforced. I saw many entire families walking around with no masks. Games and the majority of things touched were not disinfected. Tables were also not disinfected after people ate. If you are a high health risk o would definitely recommend not coming this year. Based off online reports of safety procedures I totally thought it would be safer. Normally I am VERY impressed with Mcalls but feel if the amount of people allowed in each day there are not enough precautions. Sign every post six feet apart and hand sanitizer but it is not enforced and put on people themselves who don t follow. Again still tons of fun just be aware of your health.

It s been great lots of fun yes food lines are long but it s so much fun that it is worth it.

This place was a joke over priced went on the hay ride and they drive u passed the good pumpkins letting you think thats where your going but NOPE they take you to the field where 75% of the pumpkins are rotten or being eaten by insects total rip off u leave with a pumpkin that can fit litterly in the palm of your hand? 15$ for that then 5 hour wait for any attractions there you leave bummed n kids disappointed n tired from waiting in the cold and if you wanna get warm off the fire pits be ready to pay for that to this is just a money hungry place with no consideration for the public kinda felt some racism going on aswell not kool won't b back there even if it was free!!!

As far as halloween goes, The individual events themselves don't change much from year to year, and they are incredibly expensive and really long wait times. If you have done this once, then you have already done all there is to do here.

Very fun and well put together, but so ridiculously over priced. It should not cost $50 to get into a glorified haunted house.

McCall's was awesome! There is so much to do for adults and kids. The food I'd delicious, the Corn Maze is absolutely amazing and the pumpkins are beautiful (and inexpensive). Thanks to the McCall's staff for also making sure everyone could be safe during COVID19.

My first time there with my son and it was great experience and we got a few pumkins!!!

The staff was great!! Very friendly, the attractions are very creative. All in all I had a great time. Although there was an officer directing traffic who was very rude and mean. He was yelling at people because they were 2 inches off from parking. I don't normally write these but that officer made me and my family from another state very uncomfortable. I recommend the pumpkin patch and haunted corn maze greatly !! I just hope he is not there next year or has an attitude adjustment.

Our first visit to McCalls was with my daughters 3rd grade class.....she is 18 now...and off to college. We only have the best memories of McCalls....nice, easy drive from ABQ, and everyone there has always been so kind. Plus we always get the perfect pumpkin.....thumbs up!

Came by here again recently and have to admit this is by far the best pumpkin patch in NM. Pumpkins are decent price and there is so much to do when you come here especially if you have children. They even have a haunted house and maze in the night time, which gets super packed, so be cautious and come early because there are set and scheduled times for the haunted house and maze. if you come late be prepared to stay late.

Look forward to this experience every year. This year we bought pumpkins and minimized exposure. Just a delight to participate.

Anxious for my first time at McCall s I read a million reviews and asked everyone what to expect. And all I knew was to arrive early and be prepared to wait. I got my family there by 630 & had joiners at 730. Even with the joiners an hour later we were able to do the double haunt and the extra s (which I should ve just got the double haunt plus) we all left by 930. While others I knew that had arrived around 8 or later were waiting for hours. Looking forward to going next year. They put so much detail into it and compared to other haunted attractions around this one definitely doesn t disappoint. Exceeded my expectations. Loved it.

Can't wait to go to the pumpkin patch every year. The food they offer is above and beyond typical attraction food. They have enough activities to spend the whole day and enough diversity that all ages will find multiple opportunities for fun. The weather can sometimes change quickly so bring a jacket just in case.

McCall's is ALWAYS ALWAYS great. They have so many fun activities for everyone in the family. You can bring in your own food. They do have a lot of great food. I save my appetite for all the great sweets. Home made donuts!! LOVE THE HOME MADE FUDGE!!!!!!! Love the Gift shop with all the home made goodies. The hay ride out to the pumpkin patch is fun. They seem to keep adding great activities each year. They have a giant pumpkin launch, jumpers for the kids, a corn sand box, corn maze, bunny city, little play city that kids can lay in and a giant fort with slides. The only bummer is that I wish they would be open to the public on weekdays as well. But I would definitely recommend McCalls!!!!

my family has been going for the past 6-7 years we love going for the day everyone get beautiful pumpkins and now we love going to both the haunted maze and barn-. We have yet to reserve a fire pit but plan on doing so this year or next depending on cost and when we can take time to go this year
