Even their salmon filets and chicken breast are great and reasonable

You'll go broke on fresh bread, biscotti, and mozzarella. The hot sandwiches are fantastic... Come to think of it, everything is fantastic.

Mazzaro's has an incredible selection of deli meats, sandwiches, authentic Italian groceries, coffees, etc. The food here is incredible and the entire market is a wonderful experience to just wander about in.

Mazzaro. The most fabulous Deli in St. Pete by far. It can be a little overwhelming for a newbie or the meek.
Meats, cheeses, wines, Deli, bakery, pastas, coffee house, pastries and more all under one roof.

This place is unreal. From the produce, to the premade meals, groceries, wine, snacks, deli, meat market, ice cream shop, bakery, cafe... it has everything. The highlight of Mazzaro s is their deli sandwich, the #20 Hot Italian . It s the best sandwich I ve ever had and it s only $6.00! Don t forget to grab one of their amazing cookies when you re checking out.

This place has everything you could ever imagine and more! They also have samples of most things at the bakery, you just gotta ask. This food is real, fresh Italian!

Enjoyed the atmosphere of this Italian market. Lots to choose from but the prepared food that I tried was not to my liking and does not compare to New York or New Jersey. Great selection of meats cheeses and desserts but was disappointed in some of the pastries. Not worth driving an hour too.

I just had a return. I had to wait 20 mins to get in the store then they sent me to the end of the purchase line another 15 mins. I would have done an exchange but store was too crowded to shop.

Disney Land of Gourmet Italian Food. A must visit for everyone.

It was just like the grocery stores we visited in Italy. Terrific selection and quality. A bit crowded but hey it's a sign of a good place.

My Son brought my daughters and I here for the first time and we loved it!! Reminds us of the Italian Pork stores in New York!! Looking forward to our next visit for more goodies !!

Always good! 2 years ago I gave this place 5 stars and the always good was from a previous review I wrote. I have been coming here for almost 7 years and have always told people how great it was and it has been. Until today. My wife and I have brought people here for years and today we went in and ordered our sandwich like we always do and walked over to the pasties like we always do to get our cookies. My asked the lady for her cookies. While I was picking out my cookies my wife saw something gross a baby roach was crawling around the cookies in the display case. She alerted the lady behind the counter. The lady said nothing. Acted like it was no big deal. She pulled out a couple of trays of cookies caught the roach and put the cookies back in the display case to sell. We didn't cause a scene and just left. No apologies, no sense of urgency, nothing like that. Where you see a little roach, a lot of other roaches exist. But even more disturbing was that, where the roach was crawling on the cookies, somebody else purchased those disgusting roach crawled cookies and that isn't right. As much as I have enjoyed coming here. I am shocked and disappointed how this was handled and disgusted that it even happened. This is a reflection of how unsanitary this place is. I wouldn't come here ladies and gentlemen. However, this may not bother some people. For me it is gross, disgusting and wrong.

If you want to get something gourmet like you see on TV food shows, this is the place. You can eat it in the Cafe or take it home like a grocery store. Everything about this market is top notch.

Awesome, so many delicious items to choose from, and I especially liked all the Catholic statues, will definitely be returning often.....they also have the best coffee around

I've never seen anything like this. I went looking for "00" flour to make pizza dough, but ended up getting pepperoni, shredded cheese, and more. There are so many specialty counters: homemade pastas and pizzas, seafood, meats, premade deli items, an espresso bar, premade, family-style, cook at home lasagnas, lobster mac and cheese, and stuffed shells. There's a wine area, specialy cheeses, spices, and a ton of stuff I've never seen in a retail store. Go there now.

Amazing wine, cheese, and coffee. Incredible breads, pastries, and pastas. All the Italian fare you could ever hope for. 10/10 would shop again.

Company lunches for years! Today, deli staff so wicked rude.. then bakery only had plain cheesecake.. OK? Can you toss maybe some chocolate on it since you don't have strawberries? No.. no? Really? OK fine.. pistachio cupcake? Nope.. let's be clear, rude deli, and a few bakery items not available.. but rude staff? So so disappointed.. what a shame.. food is decent but if you've got rude staff what makes people want to drive out of their way to deal with a crowd like that, poor parking.. to be treated poorly. Boo!

Italian market that is full of good stuff! But expect to wait in line, but it's soooo worth it!

My favorite place !!! There desserts are outstanding and so is there food ! Nice place just to hang out !!!! And if your lucky enough like me and my daughter .......you might see Hulk Hogan !!!!!

I love this place....it gets very crowded...but that's because its Sooo good. High standard of Italian foods ...cheeses..wines...pastas....fresh pasta made while you watch...so much to choose from..and very good quality...I love this place!!! You have to go! And don't forget to visit the other store...so many gadgets and must haves for your kitchen and home...I may go broke between the 2 stores.

I think it was just too crowded the day I went, but everything else about it was nice. Just overwhelming and a lot of rude customers were there.

Literally the best place ever. Go around 2:30 p.m. to avoid the BIGGEST crowds-- although you will still have crowds. It is always busy, as it should be. Give yourself time to browse if it is your first time. Try a variety. It's delicious. Definitely order an #2 Italian sub ($5.50) and get mayo packets on the side (the mayo will not come on the sandwich). Definitely get some of their pastas (lobster mannicotti, gnocchi, raviolis, etc.) to go, maybe a pizza, and definitely some pastries. Also, their coffee bar! Their cheese room! Their wines! Literally my favorite place.

Fabulous food, products and wonderful staff! Eggplant parmesan, chicken marsala and the cookies were all excellent. Another wonderful place to eat at and recommend.

Mazzaro's offers a great selection of fresh and frozen foods. They have counters for cheeses, meats, olives, deli cuts, premade foods, pastas, and bakery goods. It's a great place to grab lunch and dine on their patio with wine, coffee or just about any beverage. It can get rather busy on the weekends but it's worth the trip!

Oh, Mazzaro's! I start coming there in the previous century and continue to be a loyal customer.Because it worth it! So authentic inside and out. All that Italian food, drinks, cakes, breads.... I know that if i bought something in Mazzaro's, it will taste like my long lost Italian grandma cooked ( sorry i am not an Italian tho).

An impressive operation that carries 3 main statements: Fresh, Authentic, infront of your eyes kind of products. Prices are not the cheapest but not out of this world expensive either. They opened at 9am and I went there at 10:30 am thinking I will find a customer or two, there was probably 85 people in the store hustling and bustling. Meat section, coffee roasted in the store.Cheese and wine section is a must as they actually have a wine specialist that gets you exactly what you need, not just pick an random bottle off a shelf. And honestly the bottles are not expensive as I thought, Good wine ranging from $20 to a couple hundred but you are treated the same way no matter what you buy. I have to come back to see what else is there.

Amazing place. Tenuta's of Florida. Spicy Italian was delicious and decently priced. The deli section, desserts and fresh meats were perfect.

Love this place and so many people do its always super busy so take your time enjoy yourself and don't go if you are in a rush. So many great food items to make at home and a plethora of choices of foods they pre made fresh for you.

Yes! This place is amazing! It has everything: fresh meat & seafood, a coffee bar, a wine & cheese shop a phenomenal bakery, a deli counter that makes fresh sandwiches, tons of miscellaneous other things and both inside and outdoor seating. A destination in and of itself.

At certain times of the year, there are too many people in the deli. I love this deli, but it needs to be organized better. It's so crowded at times you can't see the food that your trying to see to purchase. People are nice, but there's always a few pushy ones, who are ready to argue n push to get their turn in line. Either enlarge existing building, or dont let in so many people at once. Please before some one gets hurt.

Great market! Mask compliant, though small, so social distancing can be a challenge. They are doing the best they can with 1 way aisles.

This place is a must stop on your trip to Treasure Island. The staff and atmosphere are so fun! The food is delicious and very affordable! We made a repeat trip 3 times during our stay. They have fresh cheeses, pastas, meats, sausages, and coffee. Their bakery is amazing as well. You will want to spend all day perusing the aisles and just taking it all in before you order a delicious sub sandwich! I suggest the number 5 on the menu!

I have been going to Mazzarro's for many years and have never been disappointed. I so look forward to going. It's a little more difficult now that I live In Hernando Beach but it won't stop me from making the trip

OK, so if you're in the Tampa Bay area and you haven't been here, you're doing it wrong.

This is THE place to come if you want fresh pasta, hot sandwiches, deli meats, Italian sweets, fine cheeses, and well, anything Italian you can possibly think of.

There's a spot for coffee and a spot to order a freshly-made sandwich at this place and you can easily grocery shop to cook your own homemade Italian feast if you really wanted to.

Mazzaro's gets incredibly packed on the weekends, with lines nearly 25 people deep in certain parts of the store. If that's not a testament to this place's greatness, I don't know what to tell you.

Come here, shop for fresh foods, eat pasta, get fat, sample some cheese, just do it all. You won't regret it.

A different shopping experience, lots of authentic Italian food. I could find everything I could think of and more. Italian wedding soup was the best I have ever had. The gift shop had a great variety of practical homegoods, beautiful gifts and nice small items. A very pleasant days outing and worth our 30 mile drive.

This was one the worst experiences I ever had in my life. All the employees were bored and very unfriendly. Really bad environment. Good job! Never coming back again! You re welcome

Dag Gum Best Place for Italian food!!!! Went for quick trip to pick up dinner dishes to go. Any other time I'd grab a coffee and much more items but you can't really social distance here. I was overwhelmed because it is a very small market and more people than I'm comfortable with.....but its the best market.
