Great service like you would expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and the food is really good.

Excellent starters and cuts of meat in the mains. However, the service was a bit slow.

Got to say - my first GR (I m a huge fan!) place that I felt as not good value for money and up to par.

This is your perfect place for some fine dining. The food is amazing and the staff treats you with care and understanding to every quirky customer need. Of course, you have to pay for the class of the restaurant - the prices are a little high but I think it's worth it.

Good Japanese experience with a modern twist. Very help staff. Food could use little enhancement, good enough however.

Very good food with fun staff, although on the expensive side.

We waited over an hour for our meals to arrive, yet the restaurant was not busy at all. One of the meals containing things we specifically asked to be removed.
The waitress placed down our cutlery and plates by reaching across in front of our noses, and didn't really check up on us at all.
The food was good, although apparently a burger doesn't come with chips anymore - a slightly misleading menu.
With all the experience that Gordon Ramsay has I expected far better service.
The only positive is that we did manage to get a picture with Gordon.

Very good restaurant but watch your bill. Alchololic drinks can be around 16 pounds a piece and can easily stack up. The meat was amazing especially the chicken and steak. I would also say to try the octopus tentacle for the more adventurous. You won't be disappointed.

We dined with the Love London menu. Service was excellent, food was good but not quite what we had expected. Restaurant was surprisingly quite for time of day and more like a pub vibe (but we knew that beforehand so not knocking any points off!).

Chips were excellent

The first meal I have in Ramsay's restaurant, we just order the summer courses for a try. The fish my friend ordered is soft and good, but my steak which is medium rare, but it's like a chewing gum. Maybe because it's a dish with a special price? The dessert, toffee icecream is not worthy 12 pounds honestly. The staff is hospitable.

Ideal for a power lunch, but Ramsey's fame may be diverting his attention from the little creative touches that would warrant the price.

Especially went to London to taste the dishes of Ramsay. We wanted the Beef Wellington, because this is a kind of signature dish from Ramsay, but we were told that it was no longer available and this while we had asked for it during our telephone reservation. This was therefore the only downside. Both the service and the food were completely fine. Delicious food and an experience richer. And yes, you pay a little more for it, but we find that quite normal if you choose to eat with a prominent person like Ramsay.

Really nice place to eat. A bit expensive but the food is superb so with it. The steaks are amazing! Nice for a treat now and then.

Mystical experience, it really met my expectations.

I was really surprised that this place was not as good as I expected. I read the reviews before coming to the restaurant and didnt want to believe the negative reviews I had read on google and thought to find out for myself. The restaurant was okay but not the standards I expected from a restaurant with Gordon Ramsay name on it. The mac and cheese somehow tasted more like a margarita pizza made out of pasta. The mac and cheese was clumped together with thick string of cheese I actually found it hard to seperate with the spoon provided so I had to use my finger to seperate the cheese. The pasta source was non existant and mac and cheese was very dry. My grilled salmon had no flavour lack of seasoning and the steak was okay nothing special for the price paid. Buffalo chicking wings was nice and spicy and the cure salmon was nice too.

Verdict - I will not be in a hurry to come back any time too soon food was just not what I expected the saving grace that night was the starters and the dessert.

(reply to the restaurant answer: the problem was not the quantity but the quality, the short ribs burger (patty) was too dry and compacted, in the fried buffalo chicken burger the only discernable taste was the spicy maio that was covering every other taste, I bet these are not the achievements that chef Ramsay intended)

For a Gordon Ramsey restaurant a f......, disgrace.

With Gordon's name on this restaurant I'd expect better. Restaurant and service was great. However there were elements that were lacking. For example the sauce on the prawns were so hot you couldn't eat them. Just to make sure it wasn't us we passed it around a few others in the party to try and there were some big reactions. Then there were two main orders that were totally wrong and had to be sent back. Not what I would expect when you are laying out a very large bill.

Fantastic food. Fantastic atmosphere. Fantastic service.

An overall pleasant experience! The restaurant is nice and clean, good food presentation.

Dishes are small, notably appetizers. We ordered the popcorn cauliflower, burrata salad, and spicy tuna roll as appetizers, all of which were okay but nothing special. For the main meal, salmon was well cooked, mashed potatoes and broccoli were good, as well as ribs and chicken. Onion rings are served as large as donuts and adds a fun twist.
Desserts were also good : brownie, sticky toffee pudding, strawberries and cream.

The best part? Our enthusiastic and part time magician waiter Giorgio! Made the whole dinner very enjoyable and offered advice on which dishes to order.

Pros: good food, dry-ice dessert was great fun, views over the square, friendly manager keen to help, kitchen tour.
Cons: call centre staff couldn't answer menu questions, pre-notified requirements were missed, made to wait for our prebooked table, restaurant and fittings looking rather worn, drinks are all ice, the prices are too high.

Amazing service. Seriously phenomenal. The food was lovely, but our steak was undercooked and our mash potato was REALLY salty. The meat was soft as butter, melted in your mouth and salmon is amazingly soft too. Just those two issues. Otherwise *PERFECT*

My wife took me here for my birthday and boy was it amazing. One of, if not the best meals I have ever had. My perfect meal- the best mediterranean selection of food served in delightfully sized portions. This place certainly lives up to the name a-MAZE-ing!

It costs about 60 euros per person, but it's just about the price. I was expecting Gordon Ramsey, but ... actually, it was not really Gordon Ramsey's, and I ate a sirloin.

We had the lobster and the sirloin steak. The steak was ok, nothing more than that, and the lobster seemed fine. It came inside bread. A few hours later, we felt nauseous, stomachaches and dizziness. That night did not end well for us. Paid a serious amount of money just to end up like we did.

Nice restaurant very professional staff. Food a bit disappointing. Prawns overcooked and calamares also overcooked. Steak was a bit tough and only had English and French mustard!!! Dessert was good bot serving everything on a plank of wood is a bit dated.

Ceasar's salad was delish...sirloin although cooked Med-Rar as ordered was incredibly tough....the Pinot Noir is a great house wine choice.

This restaurant is not even in the same universe as Ramsay's restaurant in Chelsea. Some dishes were tasty, but overall I expected a lot more.

I arranged a Christmas lunch for my firm at Maze and I literally could not recommend it more - from start to finish it was an amazing experience! We dined in the beautiful Somerton Room (one of their private dinning rooms)

Correspondence from their Groups & Events Manager Matt Zinsner from my initial enquiry to the day before was a sheer joy - prompt and helpful replies, nothing was too much trouble.

On the day itself we were looked after by the Assistant Manager Simon Smith - all of my staff have commented on Simon's fantastic attitude, very friendly with impeccable attention to detail - we had one lady with very specific dietary requirements which have caused problems at other venues but at Maze and with Simon running the show not only was she catered for but she also received star treatment!

The food was simply beautiful (and as an added touch Simon and his team ran you through each course of what exactly you were eating). As pure works of art on the plate it was almost a shame to spoil them, but they were so incredibly yummy that I had to stop myself licking the plate.

I won't spoil the 'wow effect' for others - but let's just say lemons have never been so entertaining and Heston Shmeston you can eat your heart out as I'm a true Gordon Ramsay/Maze fan!

It's a true joy to come into work and not hear one complaint and to just hear raving reviews and the phrase that I never thought I'd hear 'can we please go back next year'.

In short: superb food, amazing staff, great GREAT venue!

Came to Maze in the middle of a crazy final exam period to unwind, and had a truly special time thanks to David Steele and his team. Not only was I, as a single diner, made to feel completely welcome, when I didn't enjoy one of my courses (I found the fish too salty), a replacement was immediately arranged for me without question, and I was even brought on a kitchen tour to see where the action happened.

I had such a good time that when I returned to London for my graduation ceremony I brought my parents here, and not only did Mr Steele notice my reservation, he also remembered me and arranged for extra hor d'oeuvres to be sent to my table in his absence that day. Such excellent service cannot be complimented enough, and to this day Maze remains one of my favourite places for special occasions.

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant after reading really good reviews online and having also been to Heddon street kitchen , also by Gordon Ramsey, which was excellent.

To our great disappointment this restaurant was just terrible...

Most of the dishes were over salted (calamari, popcorn chicken).
The onions rings were full of oil and the mashed potatoes were hard.
Fish and meat were average (not bad, not excellent...).







We left the restaurant extremely disappointed, and checked the menu outside out of curiosity. It was exactly the same as the inside menu except, they didn t show the extra charge for the sauces sneaky move..

I usually don t write reviews online but this experience left us feeling so cheated that we believed that other customers have the right to know what s going on in this restaurant.

In my opinion the only good point would be it s chic ambiance and decent service.

I d definitely nominate this restaurant to be on the next episode of Ramsay s Kitchen Nightmares !

Stay away !!

One of the best burgers I have had in all of London. Truly an amazing restaurant. I think the only negative I have is that as it isn't THE best burger in town, the restaurant is exorbitantly expensive. However, they do have a great selection of wines.

Great service, excellent food. Took us in without reservation, took our son into the kitchen so he could explain how he likes his eggs.

Every dish was very good as you would expect. Great service to go with.

5 of us came here last weekend after failing to get a reservation at Goodman at short notice. Despite exemplary service, the meal was a disappointment. 4 steaks ordered and only 1 of them was cooked as requested with one needing to be sent More

Spent the evening with my boyfriend at the Maze Grill restaurant by Gordon Ramsay.
Our waitress Lisa was so kind and professional, the food was perfect, the atmosphere is so cozy, yet it was a little too loud because of a table close to us.
Everything was so good that we had to come back for breakfast as well.
It was extraordinary.
Would recommend, and definitely be coming again when we'll have the chance.

Below average. Very disappointed. Especially how they charge $5 per bottle of water without informing you prior.

Great food, amazing service and great with kids food too.

Food was good but for the price we paid I expected better service. We sat at the bar to start and nobody moved to take a drink order despite multiple staff around. Took around 15 minutes to get someone to clear our plates from the starters. Felt very pressured by the waiter to buy the more expensive wine option. Beef wellington was very good and the highlight, however the pastry was undercooked. Won t be back.
