One of the most beautiful museums I have ever visited. There are relatively many paintings for how large it is from mainly the golden age. Every painting is truly a masterpiece; it is as if you have a house with all the masterpieces of the state.
The audio tour is also interesting and not long-winded. It is a good alternation of context and explanation about the painting itself and the technique.

A very peaceful museum with some classical paintings. The building itself is a piece of art, and the collection is just incredible. The rooms are very well organized and curated for a lovely experience. I recommend to use the audio guide, you can rent it for free, and they will provide some of the paintings guides.

Located in the most famous museum in The Hague, next to a man-made lake, it was originally a private mansion. The planning is very square. There are many painting collections. Of course, the most famous is the girl wearing pearl earrings. There is a Chinese tour guide. Can be rented, very convenient

Picture gallery. The interiors are beautiful, but not luxurious. Many portraits and still lifes of the late Middle Ages are presented. From famous paintings: a girl with a pearl earring and students dissecting a corpse. The gallery is small, there are audio guides. We were with a 4-year-old child, patience was enough to go through all the halls.

Wonderful gem of a museum. If there's one thing you do in the Hague, come here. Its collection is vast, containing many very well known works of art as well as some not as famous but just as fine. It looks deceptively small from the outside but step inside and you'll be dazzled. Great shop and cafe, too

Always a recommendation!

Always a recommendation!

We came there for the opportunity to be alone for 10 minutes with a Vermeer painting. Very special.

Small bon bon in the heart of Den Haag, center of the governmental picture gallery, where Rembrandt and Vermeer stand out. Two levels of works of Flemish Impressionism, where you can admire the precious Girl with a Pearl earring, and other impressive works by Vermeer. A room dedicated to a particular artist this year is dedicated to Rembrandt, very suggestive

Jan Steen's temporary exhibition is very impressive. Artworks full of humor and color! Look at that! Very small minus ...
In the normal exhibition, lighting is sometimes a bit disturbing. Reflection of artificial light, but also daylight here and there too much, so that people miss details.

Museum with many beautiful paintings. Somewhat interesting for children. Entrance is really cleverly solved, from the street you see nothing of it, but under the pavement in front of the door is a large bright room. Friendly people too.

Tip: do the audio tour. Just download the app and bring your own earphones. You learn so much more from the paintings that hang there. And the audio tour is free.

Must do in The Hague. A lot of important paintings (I particularly enjoyed the exposition about Slow Food) and the building itself has a very interesting history and it's a piece of art in its own.

Beautiful building where a few hundred paintings hang from the golden age. A few masterpieces, such as the girl with the pearl, hang here. With the museum year card you have free admission.
