Attended it in the sixth grade 1953 then York High school in Yorktown Virginia this was the elementary school you could imagine

A bit better than Berkely middle...but it's still horrible. The staff yelled in my face for not wearing a coat in SIXTY FIVE DEGREE WEATHER. I used to live in Minnesota so 65 degrees is HOT to me. I understand they don't want me to get "sick" but 65 isn't cold.. the students need to be controlled more. One student threatened to punch me in the bus while repeaditly punching the seat and then pushing me on the ground of the bus. The students were talking about Taking drugs in front of the teachers and bullied me MANY times. Your mostly stuck in a VERY small classroom all day too. The cafeteria was my least favorite part, teachers made me sit alone in the corner for not bringing a coat or for not eating. While we're talking about not eating, it was because the food was HORRIBLE.

This school is extremely old and outdated, the classroom are very small and classes are crowded. The cafeteria is extremely difficult to get into because is on a basement floor smallest lunch room and the kids have to rush eating because isn't enough space for everyone. My honest opinion the can do better for the amount of taxes you pay for living here.

A beautiful school built in the 1930's as part of the restoration of Colonial Williamsburg site. The building is a gorgeous example of what money and vision can do . The building is in great condition and the academics are wonderful. It is the pride of the city of Williamsburg. And I have been lucky to have had 2 grandchildren attend.

Very well kept for a school that on the registry.my grandchildren love it there.
