If you're into enjoying historical structures set in some of Wisconsin's most beautiful setting, than Pinecrest Historical Village is something you definitely need to check out. From the blacksmith shop to the school house, the buildings offer a wide variety of historic Wisconsin structures from the late 1800s into the 1900s. The facility is very well kept up with extremely friendly staff.

Its really about the importance with the birthday of Manitowoc County and the founding of 184 years ago from yesterday to celebrate why everyone lives here not Health with this COVID THING at all. And please stop saying COVID COVID COVID. This is tiring. Goodbye. Remember Manitowoc really needs their special birthday to be remembered and lots of history why this name for a City of Manitowoc was given 184 years ago yesterday as of today.

We checked out the Buffalo Bill show at Pinecrest and were blown away by the cleanliness, the amount of things to look at (like the old train) and the sheer scale of it right here in Manitowoc county! The show was also pretty cool. Definately recomend this place as you can literally take a stroll down memory lane (okay, your grand-ma's grandma's).

This is a fantastic representative village of early Wisconsin with authentic buildings. I've been fortunate enough to visit without the crowd for an opportunity to really take in the feel if the atmosphere.

Came here with my 4 year old and we had a wonderful day. This place is perfect for this age, she lived exploring the buildings. I live how there are little things for you to open, explore, and touch- like the bonnets in the school house. Weren't sure what to expect with co-vid but it was pleasantly quiet. Everything was open except a few buildings undergoing renovations. The blacksmiths (who are there currently only there Thursdays) made my daughter a tiny sword that she loved and she got a tattoo from the lady working the welcome building.
