Massage Envy Spa Laurel Review

I am a first time patron who was prepared to become a repeat customer, perhaps even a member. I booked my appointment through the app. I selected my service, the firmness and my aromatherapy add-ons. I get there and as the front desk receptionist is going over the procedures, she mentions that I won't be able to ask for increases/decreases in pressure because I'm booked with Frank and he only does deep tissue. Pardon, but I specifically booked a medium firmness service. I double checked multiple times, and Frank was listed as a masseuse that provided medium, firm, and deep tissue massages. She goes in the back to speak to someone, comes back out and says "okay your appointment has been removed, so your good to go. I don't know why the website says that. Sorry about that." Huh? I'm dismissed just like that? No offer of a discounted service due to the miscommunication on YOUR part? No offer to do the legwork to get me rescheduled asap? I will not be returning to this establishment. And it looks like I should have read the reviews before booking anyway - poor customer service is a running theme at this place.

I have been a customer at this location since it first opened. My massage therapist , Dynasty, called Dee is consistently wonderful. She is professional, yet friendly and customer service oriented. I schedule all of my appointments around her schedule. This location in general is very good. The receptionists are friendly, professional and efficient.

From the moment I stepped in the door, I was greeted in a very friendly and professional manner. The ambiance was very calming. My message therapist, Gina, was very attentive to my message needs and she focused on the areas where I needed special ?attention. This was my first message. My second mes
sage was just as nice.

I love massage envy and my therapist Garry he is the best I have had. I suffer from a few back issues and he knows how to get those kinks out. Highly recommend.

I was only given a 45 minute massage instead of an hour massage, which was paid for. I have gone to another ME and was pleased but this location left much to be desired. Will not me going back.

Gina is fantastic, great at customizing a massage. If you like medium-firm pressure to really work out knots, she s great.

I had I prenatal massage that ended up being a deep tissue massage after I told them I had nothing to workout.

Bisrat is a terrific therapist. I book out months in advance to make sure I get him. He knows how to really work out the knots and I always leave feeling great. He is sensitive to my pain level and can give a deep massage while adjusting to my needs. I highly recommend Bisrat, even though this means he will be even harder to get an appointment with!

Gina was very helpful and informative. Respectful and courteous, made me very comfortable. Will love to book with her again.

I have been going to Dee for years she is the best. I tried another therapist and he was good also. Dee is my favorite. The front desk ladies are friendly as well. I go to the massage envy in Laurel, Md.
