Best helpful place in town. If you're into bikes this is a must stop
I had a bent wheel and a flat tire. I came in because I had heard it was the cheapest option in Corvallis. And not only is that true, but probably the most helpful. When I came in one of their staff (I think his name was Daniel) walked over to help and asked what I was in for. I told him my issues and he not only fixed my bent wheel but every step of the way showed me what to do, why, how, and what to watch out for. I bought a new tube and tire for my bike and it only ran me $9. Definitely worth checking out for bike maintenance.
Truly of the People. CBC is a well-run haven for all things 'cycle. No matter how many wheels, if your transportation is motivated by legs or arms, it's welcome here. Great folks, good tools, and the best interactions. CBC is the true street rebellion for a new (and better) age.
I was able to repair my cycle here for free! The people here are super friendly and support
Very low prices on new, lightly used, or very used parts and tools. They are my go to for a tool or something that I will use once a year. Also, Being a bike shop in Corvallis.....They can be eccentric.....It's not always my cup of tea, but it's on par with down town Corvallis. Bottom line, Ive always left with something I needed for a very very low cost.
Ever since they opened several years back, the bicycle collective has been an amazing bicycle resource for Corvallis, without a doubt! At their 11th St. location, they have a great selection of bikes for a reasonable price, usually with some unusual treasures in the mix. They are highly recommended whether you live here, or are passing through Corvallis. You will not be disappointed. The head of the shop is also very helpful and knowledgeable.
5/20. Please read all of this, and REMEMBER, business people are human too, and deserve the benefit of doubt.
5/19: I went in to use a couple of tools so I could convert my trike to electric, and the guy wouldn't even let me... Something about not "supporting" what I wanted to do. I'm 71 years old, and want to use my trike more, and my car less... But can't get around well just peddling. If they can't support that, then they don't deserve to be supported. No stars

Apology accepted. Everyone can have a bad day on occasion, I probably just caught you on yours. Thanks for your help.
The Collective is a great spot for finding random parts for old bicycles and for picking up used bikes for the kids or yourself. You can use the bike stands and tools to fix your own bikes (which is awesome) and you
can buy cable housing, brake pads, and all the stuff for maintaining your bikes. The staff know what you need, can help you find it and can show you how to fix your own bike. This is a great community resource!
