My wife and I had a couples massage on Friday and both of the therapists were friendly and good...no complaints....we both have the membership and in all honesty, have had no issues with them canceling anything on us...my complaint is: we dropped something on the floor and had to get down on it and look.....wellllllllll surprise...it was very dirty, dust bunnies everywhere, trash behind one of the tables that was in the room...bottom line, it was a complete turn off....not sure how often or who does the cleaning, butttttttttt you would think that this kind of establishment, would put an emphasis on cleanliness...I don t want to be pampered in filth nor do other people I would presume.....pay attention to the details would be my suggestion

On yesterday I went in for a massage and it was horrible!! It wasn t deep tissue at all but the therapist was very nice and I enjoy a conversation with her. However, I called today to speak with the manager in regards to cancelling my membership that was established yesterday. Diana who I spoke with said if I cancelled they will take the money I paid for the service plus an additional $20 because of the discount they gave me. How sad!! How pathetic!!! I wasn t satisfied with the service but you take my money and don t even offer to try to fix the situation!! Just disgusting and a lack of customer service skills ... Whoever trained Diana needs to be fired!! Massage envy has a name and is a major brand but that s it!! Nothing special about it and always provide poor quality service

I would not recommend this location. I had a mediocre facial today with Heike & left with layers of product caked on my face. She took her mask off a few times during my facial & also had her nose out of her mask most of the appointment. I could feel her breathing on my face very steadily for the last 15 minutes or so. I also felt she was very condescending & I didn't ask for or appreciate the dietary advice at the end of my session. Definitely took away from the relaxation aspect. When I was paying I was asked how my services were today. I said that my massage was good, but that I wouldn't ever book a facial with Heike again. Instead of asking me why or what the issue may have been, the front desk person simply said "ok". I've also had my appointment times switched twice at this location without me being informed. I've been a member for at least 7 years, and that has never happened at any other location. Needless to say I'd rather drive farther or possibly cancel my membership than return to this location.

Massage Envy (this location in particular) is one of the most corrupt enterprise. I wanted to cancel the service and they just dont let you do it.

I called by phone to Cancel and they want me to come to the location to cancel.
So I went to the location and filled out the forms and one month later they still did not cancel and charged me. So I asked whats going on - they say I need to fill out a PDF form and e-mail it to them.

I have been a member of Massage Envy for quite some time now. The quality of customer service and care has declined tremendously for the last two years now. More so for the last 8 months. It has been extremely difficulty to find the right fit of therapist that actually cares about their client. What made me write this rating today was due to such lack of customer service, and I should say lack of manners, as well, when dealing with the front desk associates. I received a message today reminding me of my appointment. First off, the appointment was only for 60 minutes and I expressed my need of a 90 minute service. Did not receive a call up until today, just to be reminded that I have an appointment tomorrow. I was rushed over the phone and was told, So do you want to cancel your appointment? Okay cancelled. Is there anything else? I responded, Aren t you going to reschedule me? Associate Anita, I am extremely busy and I am the only one here, so no. I realized that it will be a waste of time to allow myself to get angry, so I hung up the phone. This is not the first time or the second, or third time this has happened to me.
I will be canceling my membership. I am at a lost for words.

Hi my name is Kitty and I stopped at your location on the 12th and unfortunate, I was not happy with the Front Desk Staff this blonde young lady. I have a good friend who is my Esthetician and works there. I decided to suprise her and treat lunch and also there to purchase a good product for my face and plus give her a little commission. I don't appreciate how the lunch was handled but that is besides the point, why I am so upset is the blonde young lady at this Front Desk. I questioned a price on a product in the meantime thinking Rene would be paged to come out and assist me. Instead this girl walked over to the products and started educating me her way on one product and what my concerns were and than she goes into that is good for you and you need a moisturizer, sunblock and this is what I use on this and that product. I was not aware of this person not an Esthetician, and I did mention to her to please see to it that this purchase goes to Rene.

As I left I did see the lunch bought still on counter and I felt the commission was not going to Rene. As I was in the parking lot, I texted to Rene her lunch was there and what products I bought. Guess what this Receptionist sold me incorrect products. Now what if I would of went home and had some an allergic reaction, how would your business feel about that? Rene did ask for me to come back and sold me the correct products and a few good skincare techniques and I left pleased. Now whether or not I return back to this place who knows, I was hoping to, but it's bad business when a Front Desk Employee takes over an Esthecians job- why are they not practicing skin care? Instead of this blonde young girl giving advice, she should of immediately said, one moment let me see if Rene is not busy and I will have her come out and assist you! Maybe you need to be more specific of whose job title ar and not give any advice on products that cause a reaction of corrective skincare.

This has got to be the worst customer service in history. Never received a reminder call or text for my appointment towards late May. Then I was called 25 minutes into my appointment time asking if I m coming. Hmm...by the time I get in my car and drive that way the hour will be up. Maybe this call would have been better conducted prior. Apparently they can t give me a reminder call before the appointment anymore but can call me half way into it...ok. Then they tell me I am going to be penalized for not showing up. Great. Then they call me to tell me the same therapist has an open time slot later the same day about 3. She books it then calls me back an hour or more later to tell me that the therapist now has to leave and I am being cancelled on. Where is my compensation for this? It s not a one way road- you ding me if I cancel, but the customer is at the short end of the stick if your therapist cancels same day. And I can tell you that this has happened multiple times in the 12+ years that I ve been a member. Asked front desk staff (Kathleen) multiple times for their manager to contact me. In the course of five plus weeks and never heard from them- no voicemail, nothing. Was there last week and advised it must have slipped her mind- yes I am sure it did as she probably didn t even want to get in trouble nor does she have the slightest customer service training. Where do you hire these individuals from?

My recommendation is don't go here. Worst service ever after being a member before this location even opened. My membership originated at another location before Gleannloch even opened their doors. Cancelled my membership after being a paying member for over 12+ years. That should tell you something.

Hey ME Corporate- if you are reading this or reading my email sent to guest relations
please see other reviews mentioning the same people in Yelp that there are issues with. Multiple people complaining about the same people is = to problems with the way your business is being run. Take it as a hint there is something wrong. When you have customers that have been paying this long leaving, you ve got issues.

Just called to make an appointment and they told that my last payment didnt go through because I changed my card, they told me that I couldn't use my already paid massages until I updated the payment with the store where I went thr first time, so I called them to update my payment and they did. But when I called back they said that even though my payment was updated they wouldn't make the appointment for me (without any reason)

I have been coming to this location for a couple of years now and I must say everyone has been so great! Catherine has gone above my expectations to call me when a product (PCA Nutriant toner) was in that I was waiting for! She also recommend Kelly for massage and I am addicted! Kelly seriously knows how to massage! My Esthetician has also been so knowledgeable and caring. I would definitely recommend this location if your looking for therapist and staff that you will have a long term relationship with! Thank you all!!!

I signed up for a six month membership, not realizing that in the fine print I would continued to be charged unless I filled out cancellation paperwork. Annoyed, I did so and sent it in to my "home" location, Gleannloch Farms in Spring, Texas. I was just charged for another month AGAIN yesterday. I called the location, explained the problem (and my frustration) and resent the cancellation paperwork again. I stayed on the phone to make sure they received it...again. I was told by the front desk that I would hear from a manager yesterday, which I did not. I tried to call the location FOUR times today and kept getting sent to a voicemail. I want the charge removed from my card; I don't want credits, etc. - the services were mediocre at best and the never had any availability. I would appreciate a response. What a terrible way to run a business.

I book an appointment three days in advance and the day of my appointment I call earlier to see if they could see me earlier that day and they say no because they were booked, so I kept my appointment for 8:30pm and when I got there there were no body to give massages because they send her home early and I wasn't even in the schedule for that night they couldn't find my name or my phone number. So many different people working there a lot of girls that don't know what they doing. worst place ever

I love Massage Envy but this was my first time at this location and it was a really bad experience. The lady they gave me was about 350 pounds, and I have no problem with that because I'm not a skinny chick either, but during the back massage she rested her belly on my head. She also fell asleep twice and whenever she had to reach over me she'd lay on me. It was horrible.

I booked an appointment for my wife who hasn't been in over a year and I wasn't told anything about a previous member charge. She was charged $95 for a massage. Ridiculous!! When I asked about it all I got was our prices have changed at the beginning of the year but they couldn't tell me what they had changed from.
However, I called and spoke to the manager Trea..( hope spelled correctly) and she was fabulous! She made everything right ! I will honestly say I wasn't looking for anything special just to have my wife taken care of but Trea went above and beyond! Thank you to her

I'm new to massage envy as of March 29th. I purchased a 6-month membership for myself and my granddaughter.
So on April 29th my granddaughter went in for her first massage and she was charged $55 plus an $8 tip.
The membership fee was due to be charged on my credit card on May 1st (2 days later) but they still charged an additional charge.
Therefore, I called them and was told that Anita did not realize that they charge would occur in 2 days, which my granddaughter vehemently disputes that.
They apologized and stated they would credit my card immediately.
A couple days later I checked and sure enough I noticed a pending credit in the amount of $65.
Well I didn't check my credit card until today AND guess WHAT, the "credit"was reversed and there are now 2 charges on my credit card - one $55+$8 , April 29 AND another. - $65, May 1.
This kind of deception will NOT be tolerated. If I have to get an attorney to break this contract, I WILL!!!
My regret is not reading your reviews prior to going to ME Gleanlocke!!

Usually my go to spa for the past three years or so, but everyone keeps leaving staff wise its hard to get a regular appt with a therapist you know, I schedule a month out and have been phoned twice to tell me the therapist are leaving or out now. They seem to not answer the phone very promptly and you go to voicemail a lot. I am switching over to Tomball Massage Envy in the hope for better service and more reliable therapist and hope they can get at least there therapist to stay around.

I took my daughter to get a massage she said she felt very relaxed and she really loved her massage. As for me well my experience wasnt to good because i sat on a little ottoman and had to lean my back on the wall which i was very uncomfortable for a whole ONE HOUR and it made my back hurt.... but im glad to see my daughter relaxed on her massage. The reason why we came to massage envy its because i seen it in undercover boss so looking for a place to be stress free decided to give it a try! I must say tho I highly recomend tho for yall to have an extra confy chair for when the parents bring there kids in. But other then that we had a great experience at this location very friendly.
Front experience was great we felt very welcome in the environment.

I highly recommend the 90 min session and just TRY not to fall asleep because she will relax you into a coma! Lol in fact if she ever leaves I will cancel my membership and follow her wherever she goes! ***UPDATED REVIEW*** my original 5 star review was only for the aesthetician Heike NOT Massage Envy! Heike was the ONLY reason I went to Massage Envy but unfortunately in their "infinite wisdom" they let her go under what I view as a very shady and underhanded act. As a result of their questionable business practices, after being a member for over 15 years I will be canceling my membership.

I used to be a member at this location, was a member for nearly 18 months, however, my credit card was compromised and while I waited for my new card. I went in and paid cash for my visit. Was harassed on my last visit three times for leave a tip and this was the last straw. I do not like to be bugged into leaving a tip. So I cancelled. In Jan 2015, I was hurt in a significant accident, spent weeks in the hospital and months in recovery out of town. Only to come home to "collection notices" for a membership I CANCELLED! I am quite disappointed as I cancelled my membership and up to that point I was mostly satisfied, with the exception of the tips be coerced.
