Friendly staff very thorough, Dr Schaffer is very good takes his time and very thorough with his exam as well. I would recommend them, you don t feel rushed and they give you 100% of their attention to your needs. Worth the money!

Great dentist great staff very knowledgeable and professional office has amazing tech for diagnosis

BEWARE!! I am not saying they are scamming people here, but from reading other peoples reviews of this office, it seems like they are suggesting unnecessary work for their patients. I brought my girlfriend here for the 59$ advertised cleaning ad, and they ended up telling her she needed $1,200 of work. She saw Dr. Nancy Myerson. Everyone is very nice and friendly here, but don't let that fool you! They said she had slight periodontal infection and gum disease, and needed a deep cleaning with antibiotics and 3 quadrants of gingival irrigation. They showed us pictures of bleeding and tarter, but the bleeding was from the probing they were doing. They said she has an infection. Well, if she had an infection she would feel pain, and there was no pain, no signs of infection to us. They also told us she has bone loss. Well, as a careful customer we respectfully declined the treatment and left. I knew something was fishy.

The next day we went to a well established Dentist in Suwanee, one that we have been to before and love. The dentist said there was nothing wrong, she just needed a deep cleaning. No infection, no gum disease, no bone loss, no deep cleaning or irrigation needed at all. Just a regular cleaning was all that was needed. The dentist in Suwanee said some Dentists are more aggressive than others (of course), and some are just in it for the money and to take advantage of patients.

Very unfortunate, but a lot of Doctors and Dentists do this. I was happy I got a second opinion for my girlfriend. Who knows, if we actually did all of this work it might of done more harm than good. I am glad we saved $1,200 and will continue going to our regular Dentist in Suwanee, not Sugarloaf Family Dental.

I am not saying this office is scamming patients, but it seems like they are scaring their patients into non-medically necessary procedures. Dr. Nancy Myerson really is just in the business for the money and taking advantage of patients. From reading other reviews, it seems as though they leer patients on for a 59$ cleaning then once in the chair, they tell them all of these other unnecessary procedures to get. Just saying, BEWARE and go somewhere else!!

This dentist Dr. Schaefer is awesome the staff is also awesome. The best dentist I have been to in 20 years. I came in with numerous issues and left very satisfied.

Brady is so friendly and she keeps it real. She knows her stuff and she is very thorough. I also love how friendly Dr Schafer is. He likes to promote a friendly and great dental environmental.

Love this dentist office. Equipment is up to date and they provide detailed education for their patients. Everyone is Energetic!

I was so nervous going in to get some issues checked out with my teeth and they quickly put me at ease and with their kind and accepting nature! I was late to my appointment because my gps stopped working and Christina made sure to call me back and get me scheduled for the next appointment 30 minutes later. I m not sure how to spell the dental hygienist s first name but her last name is Patel and she was amazingly nice! Dr. Schaefer was also so pleasant and comforting! I couldn t be more pleased with my treatment and I feel so much less nervous about my upcoming appointments knowing how great everyone in their office is.

I personally get very nervous with dental work but the entire staff was very comforting and made my initial visit and follow up very easy! Dr. Schafer is awesome. I would give this office my highest recommendation!

Working as a temp in dental hygiene I was sent to this office to fill a position while the regular hygienist was away. I have worked in several dental offices and felt no special feeling from any of them. My first day working here I was absolutely amazed!! Every single staff team member is professional, kind, caring, and organized. I feel in love with this office instantly. Dr. Dang was inspirational and joy to work beside. The B.A's in front office kept me laughing and loving their company. Mrs. Raquel and the entire staff has really set the bar high for other dental offices. Needless to say when my week was up working with this office I was disappointed and did not want to leave. Its hard to find people that are motivated to reach higher, and absolutely dedicated to their patients and their needs. I would highly recommend sugarloaf family dental to any one. You will fall in love with them just as I did!!

Awesome place. I was able to make an appointment quickly and they coordinated everything over emails. Had I known removing my wisdom tooth was painless, I would have done it a long time ago. I was in and out in about 1 hour. Would recommend.

Every time I visit Sugarloaf Family Dental it is very good experience. They make me feel comfortable even when I may feel afraid of whatever procedure they may have to do. They are very patient with their patience especially when it comes down to payment they give reasonable choices. All in all I like my dentist.

I had a great experience while visiting Sugarloaf Family Dental. Some things that stood out to me about the office are hand hygiene, cleanliness, professional, and organized. Additionally, Dr. Wright and her team provide great customer service and aim to please! I highly recommend Dr. Wright for services ranging from routine maintenance like cleanings to cosmetic enhancements like crowns or veneers. Also, they offer complimentary refreshments in the wait area...it doesn't get any better than that.

Today was my first visit at Sugarloaf Family Dental. I was a little nervous going in as most people have anxiety about the dentist. But everyone on the staff and dental assistant, made me feel so comfortable and put my worries at rest. They answered all questions and any concerns I may have had. I came for a cleaning, Doctor is amazing as always but the person who was supposed to clean my teeth was backlogged. Very disappointing.

I had considered changing dentist a while back since I wasn t haven t good experiences however decided to give it another try. Since Dr. Shafer has been there, I have seen him a couple of times and I must say I have changed my mind. The office seems to also have a better staff so I will be staying with this dental office.

I visited this office for the first time today and I will say that I loved it. Everyone knows that feeling they get when they are at a dentist office, well my mind was put to ease a bit and then when I met the dentist my mind was fully at ease. The staff is really nice and personable. The facility is super clean and the energy is just super accepting.

This "family dentistry" that sends out brochures with families on it, could not see my daughter. Went there and did paperwork, etc. And they said they couldn't use their equipment because she was too little. She is 8. When I called to make the appointment I was asked how old she was and I told them. Nothing was said about not seeing kids. Don't waste your time taking your kids here. Artistic smiles in Suwanee is amazing!

So happy to find this dental office. After chipping one of my front teeth the night before , I was desperate to get it fixed. I Called as the business was opening and immediately was able to schedule a noon

The staff are super friendly and comprehensive in their examination of my teeth. They provided me with great recommendations on how to better care for my teeth. The only qualm I had was the significant wait time considering I had made an appointment beforehand. Otherwise, my experience was very positive.

It has been a pleasure having SFD as my Dental service provider. All the staff are pleasant and highly professional. Special mention for Lenard, one of the very experienced dental assistants and Dr. Saranya. I will gladly recommend this practice.

1st time to visit Sugarloaf Family Dental and was very impressed. Had a broken tooth that needed attention quickly. From the receptionist to the Technicians and the dentist I was treated with urgency, professionally, and with great customer care!

My technician explained everything she was doing and used my name all the time. Very friendly, caring and professional! By the end of the appointment I felt like she had been taken care of me for the last five years.

Dr. Schafer was very professional, knowledgeable, explained everything being done, and gave me all the options I had for treatment.

Their office is very customer friendly, high tech. I don't have dental insurance and found their pricing to be VERY reasonable.

I give them a A+ and would recommend them to everyone.

She truly has helped me with getting my gums to heal and maintaing the health of my mouth. BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE! I am blessed to have them.

I would have liked to have given this dental facility 4 or 5 stars; but the outrageous condescension I experienced, lies, and lack of accountability gravely takes away from the nice ambiance of the lobby, the service area decor, and the friendliness of the staff that, unfortunately, are not the ones in charge. I, like many others, responded to their flyer with the three discounted choices available. Prior to officially making the appointment, I called the number listed to verify the content of the flyer. I asked three times throughout the conversation (amongst other questions) to confirm the final walking out price I would end up paying; and then I made the appointment.

I was one hour and twenty two minutes EARLY for my appointment but I wasn't seen until more than an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment time. I was told after X-rays and the exam that I would have to come back another time to complete the cleaning portion (after I was invited to pay, of course) but it wasn't made clear to me if I was to be charged a second office visit fee upon my return. After persistently urging them to provide me with my cleaning, they DID proceed to clean my teeth; however, I never received the "Take-Home Whitening System" as promised.

I initially spoke with the Office Manager to compliment her front and back office staff for their professionalism and effectiveness. I received the RUDEST awakening from Lori Whitehead (OM) who not only seemed irritated by my attempt to compliment her staff, but failed to accept responsibility for the misleading ad and outright FALSE statement of fees that was confirmed with me prior to my arrival. Furthermore, several of her staff members AGREED WITH ME concerning my interpretation of the flyer, my process of affirmation before treatment, and even appreciated my behavior and inquiries after the discrepancy occurred. Ms. Whitehead's smile was very obviously phony as she disrespectfully threatened me and refused to fulfill what was offered in the ad and I left the office feeling completely opposite of the way I felt when I entered. I immediately called my best friend and then two relatives on 3-way to share my experience at Sugarloaf Family Dental, and my spouse accompanied me to the appointment to witness it all. He shared his dismay during Men's Fellowship at church the following evening.
I am not sure if the Doctors who were on leave were ever notified of my experience, nor if other locations of this same business operate the same way; as Ms.Whitehead refused to pass along my request to be contacted by her superiors, nor would she allow me to contact them. I am considered to be a well composed, articulate, and respectful individual in my community, although Sugarloaf Family Dental treated me like like a belligerent, bothersome, unnecessary client.

The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and provide excellent service!

I went to have some work done. I had a fear from childhood that made me uncomfortable going to the dentist. The entire staff made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. The Dentist promised me a pain free procedure and he kept his word. This is my favorite dental office.

The staff is very nice and professional. My family and I are always greeted with a warm welcome. The care given is always top notch and the office is up to date with the latest technology to provide all dental needs. And what I love most is how they always proactively schedule appointments in advance and send the little reminders of the upcoming date, sometimes my daily routine gets a little hectic so for me this is a plus. I would recommend anyone going here for their dental needs!

I had a great visit to this dental office. I had my teeth cleaned and was told by Dr. Wright that I had a tooth that will eventually need a crown. She was not pushy and on my next cleaning she just made me aware of it again. I like a dentist that is not pushy making me feel pressured to get a procedure. I recommend this office

Had to go in to see dentist due to an emergency situation. I have to say that I was totally blown away by the professionalism of the staff; starting with the front desk receptionist, the dental assistant, the dentist and check out receptionist. The dental work on a scale of 1 to 10 was 100 (off the chart). When I walked out of that office; I felt really great about the quality of service and dental work I received. This will definitely be my dental office as long as I m living in this area. If you need and excellent dentist; please do yourself a big favor and check them out; you will not regret it.

I recently visited Sugarloaf Family Dental for the first time and my experience was a great one. Dr. Schafer did an amazing job extracting my tooth and his assistant Joy did a great job as well prepping me and making me comfortable throughout the process. All of the staff was pleasant and welcoming. I'm glad I found a great dental office.

I was seen in a timely manner. I was offered a beverage while waiting. I was informed of my dental exam findings and information was given to me about all of my questions. When my lip split, they even gave me some lip balm. I had an oral cancer screening done, and I can't recall ever being offered that elsewhere. This is my first visit but definitely won't be my last! Thanks everyone!

Everyone is very friendly and very knowledgeable and do good work

I and my daughter goes to this dentist office. I must say the people are super nice and smile all the time which is great. I feel very comfortable there, however they insist on cleanings every 4 months when most dentist advise 6months. I am a bit skeptic about them, I am just giving it more time to see if their bottom line is money and not healthy teeth.

I don't understand why this office has bad reviews they were nothing short of AWESOME! Customer service was exceptional. Doctors, hygienist, and staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and make you feel very comfortable. It has been awhile since I have visited the dentist so I knew I would have a few issues with my teeth (which I did) a few cavities and some bleeding gums which the doctor and hygienist walked me through. I received a very comfortable cleaning and I got the cavities filled. I was offered refreshments, a blanket, and I was able to watch tv which made me very comfortable during the procedures! I love this dentist and her staff and I will continue to use them for my dental needs!!!!

I am a big chicken when it comes to the dentist but Dr. Angela Wright is the BEST she was very gentle to where getting numbed was painless. Dr.Wright an her chairside Brenda were comical which eased my tension. Dr.Wright gets 10 stars from me.

This was the best dental experience I have ever had since moving to Georgia 7 years ago. The staff is so friendly. The atmosphere is was so welcoming. I felt like I have been a patient here for years. Sugarloaf Family Dental is absolutely the best. Dr. Schafer, DMD is absolutely the best. He has a calming spirit and he is fast and gentle. Wow, my daughter and I was impressed from the moment we walked in. The office decor was not only appealing it was welcoming, more so with the receptionist!!! I waited for my daughter in the lobby, when she came out she was smiling ear to ear, that when I knew we finally found the right place for our family dental needs

This was my first time going into a dentist to get work done and left with no pain. My doctor was great and so was her assistant. The waiting area is nice free coffee a tv to entertain. The front desk receptionists are very nice.

This group is Amazing, everyone was so professional and friendly. My son and I had some extensive dental work, but this group made it all so painless. I decided to go to Sugarloaf Family Dental because they had the best deal for teeth cleaning. However, the "special deal" was just a way to bring people in and get their money. I was at the clinic for over 2 hours, and all they did was take take picture of my teeth. The dentist said I wasn't eligible for the "special deal" and needed a deep cleaning for over $100. I never had to pay that much money for my teeth. I spent $40 for the x-ray/exam and had to schedule another appointment for the cleaning. What a waste of my time!!!

Ivan was my dental assistant he was awesome friendly and knowledgeable my doctor came in and talked me through next steps the front desk staff was friendly I have found my new dental home I am booking my daughter and husband next..
