For a recent loan that was funded, the loan officer Judy Bettencourt was outstanding in every way. When all the appraisers told her it would be a month to get an appraisal. Judy got one in a week! I'd highly recommend her to everyone.

I was working with a lender who in my opinion was wasting my time and was very unprofessional to say the least. I will try to be as fair and objective as possible. The agent (F.B) who worked with us was great and everything was perfect till we closed. They made a mistake of charging an extra day of interest, which they admitted to in email and said they will either mail us a check or have the title company mail us a check. It's been 3 months and nothing but radio silence. We sent multiple emails to the agent, and to an assistant loan manager (R.C), that was included in the loan-closing email chain but received no response. They lost a client for a measly one day of loan interest and it's very disappointing, considering how great they were before the loan closed. I have 2 family members who wanted to work with this lender but I re-directed them towards another lender in the area.

Guillermo Santos from Mason-McDuffie was a pure pleasure to work with! He is a very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and communicative person. Always available and ready to address our concerns and questions, even on weekends! He will be our first call for any mortgage advice, no doubts!

Worked With Martin Crampton, we did not get off to the best of starts, but he absolutely came through and got the refi done. Most of the mishaps were not his fault at all, but he weathered the storm as best as he could and definitely came through on his promises. I would work with him and the company again and recommend them as well.

Carolann was awesome she took us by the hand every step of the way, which was important to us, as we were first time home buyers. Carolann even got creative to get my wife and I financing, since we did not have the required down payment. Mr. Van K. Zannis came to us as a referral. Our mother was in need of financing and was having a difficult time securing the ideal funding solution for her situation. Right off the bat we could tell that Van was not your stereo typical Loan Broker of today, in fact, he is quite the opposite. Mr. Zannis conducts business the old fashion way; he says what he means and means what he says. He quickly helped us to understand the available products and what product would be the best option for our mother. From there, Van was with us from cradle to grave, often working after normal business hours and even on weekends. Never once did we feel out of the loop; never once did he not respond promptly. Van earnestly made us feel that he was on our team, that he wanting this loan for us as much as we wanted it for our mother; so refreshing to receive this level of "old school" service. Even when things became tense with the often "over the top" requirements of the post 2008 lending era, Van helped us navigate the terrain working with us to stay ahead of the process. If you need to borrow money, Van is your man. I would highly recommend Mr. Van K. Zannis to anyone who has a need of borrowing money.
